    This is great..to appreciate that practising with a chair is a great interim way to support strength in that particular move. Getting up from kneeling. (I work in a kindergarten....and often her down on the floor...but up without something to lean on is hard). Wonderful. I shall practise. Thank you

    Hi,
    Love watching & trying your exercises,
    I was watching the getting oof the floor exercises.
    I had a left hip replacement 1 year ago,
    Have been doing Hydro therapy & strengthening exercise at the gym.
    After watching your getting of floor exercises, I have difficulty with this movement still.
    Is there exercises I can attempt,
    My hip movement is still very weak.

    My problem is after having both knee replacements I cannot get on my knees at all as it’s so painful I have had two falls and found this a problem I can no longer squat and having chronic Lower back pain I’m finding getting off the floor a challenge.

      Are your knees supposed to be so painful after a replacement? I would have thought having them replaced you would be able to squat and be pain free.

    • @debbielee4343
      @debbielee4343 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@narelled159 well obviously not since I can no longer get on my knees without so much pain and I have tried to put a pillow on the floor to kneel on and my knees still hurt my surgeon asked me do I still have the same pain as before and of cause I said no as I had bone on bone and that killed, but I just disappointed in the results of having knee replacement I assumed it would be much better ms I know others said theirs was great and another person said he is the same as me he can’t kneel down on his knees to do gardening.

      I am definitely improving at this thanks to the bemobile workouts but my knees are often so painful. I have to persuade my mind to overcome that.

      We are sorry to hear that you are struggling with both knee and lower back pain. We want to reassure you that tolerable pain does not always mean further harm, and we recommend that you use your symptoms as a guide to find exercises (not just floor mobility exercises) that you can tolerate, and slowly progress at your own pace. Resistance training is effective in improving both pain tolerance and mobility, and we hope that our videos can be of help! Let us know if you need further information/help through email at info@bemobilephysio.com.au

      I’m the same. After knee reconstructions you cannot kneel on knees unless there’s a cushion. Used to do yoga and was very flexible. These exercises don’t help at all after knee reconstructions.

    A bit scared to try this. I recently had a stable comminuted fracture of inferior and superior left pubic rami. I was told to stay off my left leg for 4 weeks and then to weight bear as pain allows (Now 5 weeks post injury). I see the surgeon again next Tuesday but I am impatient to start regaining the muscle loss and would like to be able to get to the floor to play with the cat. Should I give it a go or just be patient for a few more days????

      Thanks for the message! It's difficult for us to provide specific information without an in-person assessment, but we recommend that you approach everything with patience and caution as your recovery is your priority at the moment. Please consult your doctor and other healthcare professionals about resuming exercise and floor mobility!

    Love your work guys! Have you seen the Feldenkrais method of getting up? It’s a spiral style that appears to take less effort. Thoughts?

      Thanks for the support Joanna!
      We aren't familiar with the Feldenkrais method, but we believe that all movements can be good and beneficial. Regardless of technique, keep up the good work, stay consistent and progress gradually over time.

    Really important to practice getting up from the floor both sides equally - you can’t choose which direction you fall in . Normally we choose to work only one side - must be both

      That's a good place to start! Continue to practice, make it a regular routine and progress at your own pace :)

    What is you have knee replacements and a big bum at 78 years old It is quite painful to kneel.

    • @bemobilephysio
      @bemobilephysio  ปีที่แล้ว

      What's most important is to find an appropriate starting point, so that you can slowly improve at your own pace over the long-term. Take a look at this video here: th-cam.com/video/Mtlijbe2F0E/w-d-xo.html

    Sore knees at 73 always make this more difficult😢

    • @bemobilephysio
      @bemobilephysio  ปีที่แล้ว

      We understand! What we recommend is that you start with modifications to your exercises so that you can tolerate the movements. Tolerable pain do not always mean further harm, and slow progression is key for long-term results.
