I bought Haute42 M16 Plus. As someone who played FGs on a keyboard, playing on a leverless feels natural. Even more comfortable. Especially, because now I can put it on my lap.
I literally ordered one last night! Can’t wait to test it!
The Haute42 might be a backup top my SnackBox Micro. I love the Micro, I just don't like it taking 12 days in their ticket system to tell me the shipping address for a repair. I almost just ordered the Haute42 & decided to take a $250 hit on the Micro, but they finally got back to me. Frankly...I think this is not unique to them, & it's simply most companies trying to squeeze their labor as much as they can. I still love my Micro when it was working. (Static shock death)
On leverless in general, it's beautiful. I could never play normal stick because I'd hit accidental diagonals all the time, & I always hated pad since the d-pad would shred my thumb, & I hated the trigger buttons. I bought SFV to practice the leverless before SF6, & it was a really long time to get used to it. This type of controller came along just as I dove into the FGC & decided to really learn a game deep. I simply can't not use it.
I think it would definitely be a good backup (and certainly much cheaper). I love pad, but a good dpad is hard to find and even if you do, the input reader in SF6 and my thumbs on pad are not a good combo. Leverless is the way, it’s just taking some time to adjust.

How was your first experience trying a lever-less controller? If you haven’t, what’s preventing you from trying?
would love to see if there was any input delay added, otherwise this looks to be a be a pretty nice solution
I don’t think I have a way to test it, but I don’t notice any input delay if that helps!
So can it be used without the magicboot once you save the files
Does the PS pass thru mode to avoid timeout on PS5 also work on PS4? My adapter is a PXN N5 which can avoid the PS5 timeout, but I'm not sure if it works on PS4 too. I own neither console to test it, I only need the compatibility to play in locals.
For me I’ve had no issues using PS5 pass thru with the Magic Boots on PS4.
My best Purchase so far i brought haute 42 s16 with magic boot 1.1 and i am lockingn for magboot for xbox one can,t find it
Yeah the Xbox version seems to be pretty difficult to find. I’d love to just swap between two tiny dongles to play PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch (with nothing)!
you could have used the brook wingman as passthrough instead of magicboots ps4
True, although the Magicboots is cheaper and lower profile. The advantage would be that I could use it in other controllers that don’t have pass through. I’m pretty sold on this thing tho - I like it!

Hello, is the ps5 touchpad button available on this setup? So many games require touchpad in training mode to access certain functions and it sick of using a second controller to do this since my Qanba Drone doesn’t have a touchpad button.
Yes, it has a small button labeled “touch” at the top.

So you're saying you don't need to get the MagicBoots if you get the files you showed?
It will work for PS4 timeout, it won’t work for PS5 timeout.
