    Absolutely love my M16 Plus, though I felt the opposite on one bit, I had the smaller version and upgraded to the Plus because I wanted a little more space for my palms. Highly recommend the Lofree Ghost switches if you can get a handful of them to try out, the only complaint I had with the original was the switch sensitivity and the Ghosts have a little more weight to them, so no more accidental inputs from resting my fingers on the buttons. You really can't beat these things for as cheap as they are, the quality is great, and it's a no brainer to recommend.

    This has been my go to leverless, I might even like it more than my Kitsune, the all metal build feels awesome and much less of a fingerprint magnet. I think the buttons are real nice, the glossy sides together with the LED lighting make it look slick, it's funny that the Kitsune doesn't have RGB on the buttons. You can also use the Booter 5 that Haute/Cosmox sell, it's really low profile.

    Hey Chris, would you recommend this to a first time leverless controller user?

    How well does this work with WASD type gameplay? I'm looking for a controller that can work reasonably well for normal fighters and platform fighters were directional attacks are key. I'd much prefer WASD for platform fighters and remap the second UP (or main UP) to the jump button for that game (as it wouldn't be UP). I'm worried the buttons on this controller might be too big for that and wouldn't work well. I've tried looking into some mixboxes, but I don't see a lot of options, and even less that can easily be remapped.

    Makes an updated plus version but still no ps5 compatibility 🤷🏻‍♂️it’s a pass for me

    • @Chris_F
      @Chris_F  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Adding ps5 compatibility ONLY works if they (or any controller company) pay Sony to make it an officially licensed product, which will cost the consumer way more than just buying a mayflash adapter. Is that what you want?

      @vhex61 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Chris_F isn’t it just a matter of outdated PCB? Snackbox micro is not officially licensed with ps5 but they have a ps5 compatible versions. So does a few other leverless but its disappointingly not common. I do like the haute layout though , sadly it’s not ps5 compatible yet. Having to carry yet another item (ps5 adapter) is just annoying.

    • @Chris_F
      @Chris_F  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @vhex61 it’s not about it being an outdated pcb. snackbox uses the brook ps5 board which is more expensive than a standard brook board bc of the ps5 functionality. My issue with that is the brook ps5 board (other than working on ps5) offers nothing better than what a GP-2040 does. GP-2040 offers a TON of functions like profile switching, complete button mapping configuration and other really great features. For me, those features + the low price (easily replaced in case of damage) are more than worth having to carry another adapter around

      @@Chris_Fdo you know if it works on ps5 current gen games? Or only ps4 version of games on the ps5. I never play any ps4 versions on my ps5 if there is an option between the two, and I know people get confused by this concept because some people still accidently download the wrong version of a new game

    so turbo mode makes it tournament illegal lmao AND its missing a left pinky button. Hard pass

    • @Chris_F
      @Chris_F  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Almost every modern controller has turbo mode, and this can be disabled in the GPU-2040 settings. This has nothing to do with the controller and everything to do with the board

    • @sasaawd1
      @sasaawd1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Like @Chris_F said, turbo is on a lot of hitboxes and can be disable/switche for the Profile switch option (honestly i would have that for default lol) and if the all issue is the pinky button, then the R16 is for you, which has the extra button right under ur pinky and it's also cheaper since it's like the T and Crystal variants (Plexiglas, so cheaper, even here in europe it's like 70 to 80ish on Aliexpress and Banggood)
