    Creality Sonic Pad 3D Printed Smart Pad Based on Klipper Firmware for FDM 3D Printers Higher Your Printing Speed & Quality
    Highly Integrated with Strong Computing Power
    Beneath the large 7-inch touch control screen, the Klipper firmware runs in full swing on a powerful 64-bit computing platform. With software-hardware integration, you will get stunning performance, but with less trouble.
    Get It Going with No Hitch
    Creality Sonic Pad can connect to almost any FDM 3D printer on the market via a USB cable. With the included configuration manual, it is easy to set things up. Besides, it has been pre-configured for Ender-3 V2. eNDER-3 s1, and Ender-3 S1 Pro, so you can get it going in seconds.
    Speed Up Printing While Keep the Quality
    Creality Sonic Pad uses precision-oriented algorithms to command the motors for higher printing speed. The built-in input shaper function will mitigate oscillation during high-speed printing and smooth out ringing, thus keeping the model quality.
    Intuitive Model Preview
    Creality Sonic Pad supports G-code model preview when slicing with the Creality Print, Ultimaker Cura, Pursa Slicer, and Super Slicer.
    Deft with User-defined Macros
    Creality Sonic Pad supports user-defined programmable macros, with each macro combining a series of commands to a specific function for higher efficiency.

    Thank you for sharing your experience with the *_Sonic Pad_* . Please accept my apologies for the comment on *_Ender-3 S1 Pro_* requesting about this product. After going through your playlist, I finally found this review, so thank you. I hope once I calibrate this with my printer, the quality will be much better and open up more options to print various models I have in mind and downloaded from *_Creality Cloud_* … Look after yourself and each other & Stay Safe. Remember, *_Life_* is *_Short_* so, *_Live Long_* and *_Prosper_* 🖖… Cheers matey…

      Im fairly new to 3D printing and have an S1 with a sonic Pad. From watching a few videos isn't using the G sensor on the Hot end / Bed configuring the shaping info to address your first concern? the biggest complaints ive seen is that they dont pause to ask you to move the sensor onto the bed.
      after reading your comment i decided to try and see if there was a calibration built in as there was with other setting like PID. I didnt find much but did end up at the KLIPPER site which leads me to believe this is more a feature on there end not creatlity? How would you suggest calibrating it?

    Just a heads up, I tried to setup my V2 Neo using this guide. There is a new profile option for the V2 Neo Specifically if you update your sonic pad, if i used the one you selected it "bricks" the TFT and wont connect to the sonic pad. I needed to re-flash the stock creality firmware and try again having noticed and selected the new profile.
    Also, For the Resonance setup, dont you need to attatch the sensor to the Y axis for that part of the calibration?

    hey dude, when we compare the creality ender 3 v2 neo with the Creality Ender 3 s1 print quality, which one do you think is better v2 neo can print at 0.05mm layer height, s1 is 0.1mm layer height. I'm thinking of buying the v2 neo because it's both cheaper and more up-to-date.

    The reason for the problem at flashing the printer was, that the mainboard as the display couldn´t restart because they got powered via the SonicPad. I had the same issue when convertig my Ender3 v1 to Klipper. That´s why I opened up the USB cable from my Raspberry to the printer and cut the "+" wire.

    I have an Ender 3 Neo (not the V2). There’s no profile set up for that printer yet, but thinking the bed size is the same and the hardware is similar I tried using the profile for the Neo V2. It goes through setup but seems to think the bed is offset. It’ll start to print as well but stop extruding after the brim.
    Any advice for this would be helpful as I’m super new to 3D printing.

    may sound stupid.... I have the Creality box 2 and it works relatively fine.
    Speed (with no degradation of quality) is the only reason I would want the CSP. The quality of the 2 benchies didn't seem worth it on quality. Adding another dangling cable (sensor) isn't cool.

    So how does this speed up printing? This makes little sense to me. It's the tag word for this but it basically just an alternate firmware to Marlin. Cant you make the same settings in Marlin and accelerate settings? It's the same pri term hardware wise. ?

    @Steveborough ปีที่แล้ว +1

    you calibrated incorrectly, update your sonicpad and you will have 2 steps for "bed-slingers," first calibration for X,Z and a second process for Z where you have to remount the sensor to the bed directly. makes a huge difference!

  • @tjh44961

    I suspect that the resonance sensor is not working correctly because you have it installed backwards. Any changes it makes are backwards, so it makes no improvements.

    You obviously don’t understand how the vibration sensor works. If you have a printer like yours with a “bed slinger” for the Y axis, you must move the sensor to the bed before running the test for Y resonance testing. Once you have run the X resonance test with the sensor mounted on the extruder and the Y resonance test with the sensor firmly taped to the bed, you can remove the sensor and store it away. It is of no use to leave it mounted and connected while printing. I think you will find significant improvement in speed and quality if you perform the resonance tests correctly.

  • @MisterkeTube
    @MisterkeTube ปีที่แล้ว

    Seeing the board of the printer powered by the Sonic Pad through the usb cable seems reason to worry. You'll basically have two 5V power sources fighting each other over the exact 5V level. That can cause their lifespan to shorten. The 5V lead of the USB cable should be interrupted to be safer. Cannot blame this on the Sonic Pad though. Better printer main boards have a jumper that needs to be connected for the odd case when you want the board to take power over that usb link, but which is off in most cases.

    • @broderp

      Pretty much. The only advantage of this is it adds Raspberry Pi features and a slick touch interface for less hassle and cost than Pi setup.
