- The Queen Mine is located 1 1/2 hours from Tucson Arizona and 11 miles from the Mexican border. This is probably one of the best mine tours you could take in the U.S. It's such an awesome hour tour because of the fact you take a mine train through the mine and go on tour with a miner who used to work in this mine for many years. They even dress all the people on the tours like miners as well to which makes it feel authentic. In this 5 minute video, I show you all the highlights of this amazing tour that's a must-see if you're ever in Southern Arizona.

@@adventuringoutdoorswitheric to be honest I have no clue how IG's algorithm suggested it to me as I was scrolling through. And I'm not not sure if it was yours or not, I just had a quick view of the old man giving a brief intro and it was off to the comments to find out the name of this mine so I can see a tour of the inside. I live in Arizona and take out-of-state visitors on this tour whenever I can. It is the best! Bisbee is a fun place to visit with lots of shops, restaurants, and history. Thanks for your video.

This mine is right outside the front door of my old house growing up as a kid. I miss Bisbee and have been trying to go back and see home. I miss home

Thank you for the nice compliment on the filming. Thankfully the latest GoPro that I own is the Hero 7 Black and it's the 1st time I tried using it in low light and I must say they've improved it quite a bit compared to previous models. Also the fact that we all carried lights and I was able to shine my light on what I was shooting helped a lot. Yeah the little train was so awesome to ride on I must say. that was one cool tour, loved the little train they used plus able to stop and get off to see more of the mine, well worth the $13 to get and I see from your link it's about an 1 hour to tour

As you know, I have done mine tours before, but none that involved me to take a cart into the mine! That's an awesome feature. Seemed like a lot of really good information and the it makes a big difference with the good stories!

You know I don't suffer from claustrophobia, so I can't give you the best analysis. But you're never really in super tight spaces, to be honest with you. The tunnels are pretty roomy! I hope this was helpful and thank you so much for watching!
@@adventuringoutdoorswitheric I know the tour itself is an hour or so but how many minutes would you say it is on the train from the entrance to wherever it stops in the mine?
Well, the train does make two stops, and I would say it's about a 5 minute ride each time.

How long is the ride?
Well the whole tour is actually an hour long. The train will go for a little bit stop somewhere and then we walk around then same thing again and again.
Whats the temp in there?
If I remember correctly it was like in the 60s inside the mine.
