  • In this #vanlife video we're giving you a BIG tour of one of our favorite places, #Bisbee Arizona. Wow, did we enjoy visiting what is surely one of the best small towns in the United States. Yep, you heard that right. We'll show you the places we visited, the things we drank, the food we ate, talk about art, live music, and take you on a fantastic hike to the Bisbee Cross Shrine. We'll also show you a fantastic #boondock location called Juniper Flats right outside of town. This is a big one folks, so if you don't want to watch the entire video and would rather jump to any section just use the bookmarks below.

I've lived here in Bisbee for three years. I didn't think I was going to like it, but your video shows why I fell in love with it. You also showed me a lot of stuff that I didn't know it was even here. I'm glad you enjoyed our little hole in the wall. Have a good life.

I love Bisbee, been living here off and on for about 25 years. Living here now. A lot art, music, good food, coffee houses, antique malls, etc
    Unfortunately housing cost has skyrocketed.

Just came back from Bisbee - you folks have an amazing town. The people were great, their openness was inspiring, the house next door to my hotel has a huge bomb in the yard and I didn't even notice for 3 days - it's one of the best places I've been.

My dad was born in Bisbee! In fact my Uncle John was the Judge at the Lowell Court house and his name is still there! John Sharpe was my favorite uncle on my dads side! I loved Bisbee as a kid. All the Sharpe’s are buried in the cemetery there, but my Dad, Art Sharpe was the baby and he’s the only one not buried there. I remember my cousin and I going up Brewery gulch in my Uncle John’s sheriffs car and she had to back down and she hit every trash can on the gulch! My grandmas house was in south Bisbee and belonged to Phelps Dodge mining company. I still have her Bakers Cabinet with the flour sifter and dough board! What a treasure.. thanks for the beautiful memories.. my grandpa worked for PD!

You made my day, maybe my week. When I lived in Tucson, Bisbee was my escape. I fell in love with this wonderful town. The stairs, the food, the saloons, the people. Though I've been there many times, I was never able to get to the crosses at the top. Thanks for going up there. If you ever go back, be sure to see Pioneer Cemetery, which is very near The Shady Dell Trailer Park. Lots of history there. And, the Vista Park area is fascinating, too. I'm so glad you discovered Jimmy's. Isn't that place the best? They used to have a punch card - if you ate 10 hot dogs there, you'd get one free. Glenn would be in heaven.
Thanks for showing Bisbee at night - I have never been there at night. It looks so peaceful. Thanks for the adventure. Keep roamin', Nita and Glenn. This was a wonderful video.

Lived in Bisbee, AZ way back when for 2 years, attended Lowell Elementary 4th and 5th grade. My sister and I had t-shirts that said "Where the *%$# is Bisbee?" Because it was not on the map! My dad was stationed at Ft. Huachuca (spelling,...I was only 10-years-old!) in Sierra Vista. My mom worked as a Real Estate assistant in downtown Bisbee. We lived in a small house at the top of the hill where the Copper Man stood. (Still waiting to see if any visitor gets a pic of him!) So many great memories, and era of Return of the Jedi, Footloose, and E.T. ! Lots of walking (those stairs and that pit!) and dirt biking! @@CubbyVanLife I did watch the Sedona video but must have missed that part however I did find the spot with the help of the visitor center. Looks like you’re enjoying the Harvest Host route! I look forward to your next video 😀

Honestly the best video on Brisbee I have ever watched! I personally hate people spray painting walls etc. But still outstanding video! Does one of you have a video background?

Rhanks for the kind words Steve. I too dislike illegal graffiti and said so it n the video but I think I edited that out. However this graffiti only seems to be in this one lot, not all over town so I put it in there because it was fascinating. And yes, I am a retired video producer.

Thanks Paul. We did learn what they were a week or so later when we saw them somewhere else in Arizona (see our Roosevelt Lake video) and they were in beautiful full bloom with yelly flowers.

@@oldguyconservative I’m sorry I didn’t take shots of that one, but I do remember it and you’re correct, we were right next to it. Big boulders with things like “we miss you Cody” written all over them. 😕
