If you want head of bed against wall you should attach headboard before assembling frame. Also carefully measure location your want in your room before assembly and filling. Took me 2 days-needed both power drill and power screwdriver but I built the king all by myself! So great to have a waterbed again I’m laying on it 😃🥰 (I’ll be 60 In a couple months)

How do I identify the dummy headboard for the pedestal? Are there markings where the brackets go?

I need to buy a waterbed frame but amazingly can't find anything affordable online. Guess I have to build my own.

Was thinking the same, the cheapest I can find is this one with their own waterbed mattress that I don't want since it's not full-motion. Looks simple enough, plywood, some side-boards, and pool-noodles should do the trick.

This video is awful in terms of being helpful in assembling a waterbed, mostly because there is no explanation of what or why he's doing what he doling. This might as well have been silent security camera footage of his "effort" for all it is worth. Why even bother?
