I've been watching you since day one. From goofy, camera shy to a confident mother and influencer. It's amazing to see how far you've come over the years! 🥰
Mom tip, they have grease splatter screens for pans to prevent splatter when frying! I highly recommend them! My kiddos are curious and love to help and watch so they come in handy! I hope that helps! 🥰

So glad to see a post. My dad's funeral was today and it's been a really emotionally exhausting day. Plus I have ADHD and all the people from the wake last night and funeral today had me way over-stimulated. I slept for 4 hours after we got home and I'm still tired. But an Emmy video helped cheer me up. 🥰

This is like the perfect recipe for me! My favorite sushi is salmon and I was made for avocados 🥑 I would use chopped scallions instead of jalapeños because I'm super sensitive to spicy foods and maybe top it off with some lightly toasted sesame seeds! This is awesome, I will definitely try it out

Crispy sticky rice sushi is my all-time favorite thing eat whenever I find it on a menu. I will try this, and will do a hybrid crisping method (very low level of oil w/ the corn starch dusting), because spattering oil scares the bejeezus out of me! I think I'd like to make it with the rice cubes smaller though. Great video, Emmy!

you did great for your first try - its delicious! I believe it wasn't Chef Nobu but rather Chef Katsu of Katsu-ya in Studio City that created Crispy Rice Spice Tuna (Salmon). A trick to prevent the spatter is to lightly coat your Rice squares in corn starch before putting in the oil. I also use about half the oil that was in your pan - you don't need much to create the crisp outside. Love your videos!

@@jane-annarmstrong295 Water is not very effective for that. Capsaicin is not water soluble, so water will just spread it around. Something with milk fat is much more effective. Wash your hands with whole milk, yogurt, or sour cream. That will stop the burning much quicker.
