An album to unite the factions of Deathcore and Death Metal. All of us here to enjoy disgusting brutality, and stress about human folly. Let's go boys.
This album has such a killer atmosphere to it. I hope they keep building on this style they’re creating. It’s very progressive with its peaks and valleys. Great dynamics. Great playing. Travis Ryan is easily the best extreme metal singer in the world. I love the giant choruses and demon shrieking clean-ish vocals.
I really like the vocals at the very end, almost Bjork like. So much pain and sadness, very poignant and evocative of the end of all life as we know it.

Really kind of ignored these guys for a long time for some reason. Seeing them tonight as they open for Obituary, Carcass and Amon Amarth and figured I should give their latest album a spin as to not be 100% in the dark. Gotta say, this album is pretty fucking sick. Slightly more than ten years ago I came across Cattle Decapitation as I was looking for new extreme music. The first song I listened to was To Serve Man. As a Twilight Zone fan I was thrilled at the connection. Looking back I can honestly say that Cattle Decapitation is one of the few bands I have listened to all their albums and this is a great release. In my books, this is the 2019 album of the year.
Hands down one of THE best albums imo. What an evolution these guys have made over the years, It'll be hard to surpass this one but please prove me wrong! The use of clean vocals really brings out the gravity of the subject matter in the lyrics, perfectly accompanied by the 0 to over 9000 mph tempo-switching instrumentation. Cover art also very much on point, I'd also be going through my knees if I had to carry the heavieness of all this! Got this one on a splattered colour vinyl and is since it's release a staple in my regular playlist, as should everyone.
They went above and beyond for this release. Just absolutely incredible. Be Still Our Bleeding Hearts and With all Disrespect dish out straight solid damage.

@@megametal8641 you probably have a Bret Micheals poster on your wall you beat it too and have never written a song or played an instrument in your life
Lol. Nope. Posters are Slayer, Venom, Kreator, Bathory, Hellhammer. I have generated 2800 guitar riffs (2798 to be exact) and no that is not a misprint. @@johncrawford5449

For me, they somehow managed to outdo themselves with Terrasite. The evolution of this band is unreal!
Very technical + lots of black metal influences.
I.e. perfect, very well said
@@hwt-ka-pth agreed haha
Yeah, like esoteric warfare
I don't listen to much extreme metal. Most vocalists sound like each other. This band has it's own personality so I'm in love. It's creative.

Just came back here during a song, hearing "Bring back the plague..."
Well, fits with our current situation. The plague has arrived.
In my opinion, the whole album fits.
@@MetalRomain It does honestly and it's super disappointing that it does fit.
...as far as plagues go, this one is going to end up being a bit disappointing

those goblin vocals are the best thing i've ever heard
The shit is different, might not be as heavy, but this is the album from them that has the emotions of what they're been trying to portrait all these years.
Just going through song titles it is obvious this album is a statement.
@Logos Logistics More like "Reality Overdose", it would appear.
I love the concept!
It feels like it’s become less common for bands to write music themed around important issues these days, but Cattle Decap has been keeping it real for 8 albums straight.

I'm Black Friday shopping while listening to this album. 🤘🤘🤘💪
Yeah
The only Black I know is Black Metal
This is my first cattle decap album and I can't stop listening to it long enough to check out their other albums.
An album to unite the factions of Deathcore and Death Metal. All of us here to enjoy disgusting brutality, and stress about human folly. Let's go boys.
Best album of the year. Yes, I'm that sure.
Best of the decade for me.
@@DescendingBlade Agreed
@@DescendingBlade best in 2000 years i´d say
@Ingvar Your prediction was correct
@@steverobertson3980 it sure was!
The intensity of this band while reading along with the lyrics is something that keeps me coming back for more... 🤘😡🤘
My most anticipated album this year by a long shot. Those two tracks they released are incredible.
Dave Hunt does exceptional work as an Extreme Metal vocalist too!
I really like the vocals at the very end, almost Bjork like. So much pain and sadness, very poignant and evocative of the end of all life as we know it.
That's Laure from Igorrr.
A lot of us are in the minority when it comes to music this intense. For me probably the best overall album in at least 6-7 yrs. Don't just pull it up on yt but actually buy the album to support them. THIS ALBUM IS EPIC!!!!
I got 20% off black Friday deal 🤘
I preordered a deluxe set but Metal Blade still hasn't shipped my order. This is the only way I can listen for now.
never knew too much about this band, heard this album and was blown away.....
Im gonna go buy the cd if i can find it 🤘🏽
Having this right now, and new albums from Napalm Death, Carcass and Anaal Nathrakh next year. Hoping new albums from Aborted, Benighted and Dying Fetus to start this new decade 🤘🏻.
Allan Pv new aborted EP next yesr
Yes! Really hoping for new dying fetus next year!
You're profile pic reminds me of Beneath the massacre
There’s new NP, Anaal Nathrakh and CARCASS(!!!!) next year?!!!!! Damn I’m outta the loop. But I just gave me an early Xmas present. (After metal blade and Cattle Decap gave me this one!)
Benighted is in studio now 🤘🤘🤘
Be still our bleeding hearts and Time's cruel curtain are perfect!
One of the best Metal album ive listened too for a long time.. and im 50 now, been a Metal freak since I was a child.. all genres.. thanks to my parents 👊🙏🤘
Keep coming back, never disappointed 🤘
Amazing! Next album theme: space horror? Event Horizon anyone? that Midnight Odyssey collab was such a good tease
Holy frick this album is like the best thing ever. Like one of those albums you gotta listen to front to back.
Times cruel curtain has to be one of the best tracks ever made.
Exactly what I was about to say
I had to replay the last few minutes many times it is so good tbh
Totally agree my friend!
Just the title is like a 3 word poem
Let's get to 1 million views metalheads, this album is SICK
This album is incredible, I expect this might be able to hit 5 million views in time.
Your wish came true!
Did it!!! 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks to Metal Blade Records for Cattle Decap and the rest of the bands you support - truly you're all legends. Thank you for allowing us to hear this online in these times.
I've had 30 years of moshing going to death metal shows - I fear that the days of moshing are over and that is something really fucking sad - was good while it lasted.
Metal Forever
This is not as good as I anticipated.
It's even better, SO much better, and that's a lot to say.
IMO, album of the decade.
for me that title goes to Terminal Redux, but this is a completely justifiable and respectable choice.
@@joeyuzwa891 Same goes to yours.
Damn, such a great decade for metal.
I'm shook, this has gotta be one of the best metal albums I've heard in years, chills man..
Huge love for Metal Blade Records for always uploading their new releases to TH-cam. Best album with Infant Annihilators - The Battle Of Yaldabaoth in 2019 IMO.
Yeeeees. New Infant Annihilator album is insane. These are my top 2 albums of the year.
Two awesome slabs of music
I totaly agree with you
This two album are pure dope
This needs to be an Opera!!! Get that going please and I will go.
From loving the first four albums skipping everything else and then this. These guys keep perfecting what they are good at without losing any of our interest. Amazing work
Love you Metal Blade Records and Cattle Decapitation! We need your art!
This is the first time I've ever heard this band. I totally get all the positive comments, it's fantastic. Just bought the vinyl!
i was never a huge fan or deathgrind but this is just amazing i cant stop listening to it
Best album of the year! I love travis ryan so much !!! Greatest vocalist ever. Greeting from indonesia
My phone feels substancially heavier since I bought the digital version
This album is a masterpiece
album of the year 100%. this is by far the best cattle album
I just can just not pick a favorite song from this beauty, they're all so good !
That floor Tom at the beginning literally went deeper than the deepest borehole, utterly insaaaaane album. Athletic prowess throughout
Really kind of ignored these guys for a long time for some reason. Seeing them tonight as they open for Obituary, Carcass and Amon Amarth and figured I should give their latest album a spin as to not be 100% in the dark. Gotta say, this album is pretty fucking sick. Gonna have to give them a closer look after all these years.
For me hands down the best Death Metal Album of the past few years
Then maybe you would like Archspire 😁 Maybe you already know them, but I recommend them to you because, from what I read in their comments, they are like Dethklok, but faster. Please try Drone Corpse Aviator, it's great 😄
@rubenalmeidalopez610 I know them but I really don't like the vocals. But I have to say Drone Corpse Aviator is pretty nice 😏

Listening to Bring Back The Plague as the news of COVID-19 spreading in the more industrialised countries of the world unfolds...

All around me was talk of critical acclaim in favor of Death Atlas... so here I am...
And I like what I'm hearing... Thank God for Music
Just can’t stop listening... so brutal, emotional, relevant... Masterfully produced, beautifully written, exquisitely preformed.
For me this is one of the greatest albums of all time. There is The White Album, Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Nevermind, Back in Black, Rust in Peace, Master of Puppets, Vulgar Display of Power, Never Mind the Bollocks and this. No specific order and not necessarily my actual top ten. And the bonus album just for the excellent production and songs - 1987 Whitesnake
Thank you TH-cam Algorithm for recommending this gem!
Jesus. This is one of the best albums I've ever listened to. Seriously, even though the name is a little crazy (which I think turns some people off from this band), they have crazy technical prowess and those vocals are amazing. Fucking hats off to Cattle Decapitation.
Absolute masterpiece
The metal world will understand this one day
This Is black metal??
@@alduinalxnx6967 not at all. Just a new way to play death metal
I'm here because I discovered by accident Terrasite. It really blowed my mind. Since 2023 May 12 these 2 albums are o repeat almost DAILY, without getting bored. Pure obsession and passion! What a band...
The greatest album I've heard in all of death metal. Fucking legendary stuff!
I also saw these guys live just a week ago, and they completely knocked it out of the park!!!
God, the wait is finally over. Glad I cancelled everything other than breathing for the next month to allow me to digest this fully. Time to press play...
Of all the great metal albums to come out this year, this reigns supreme!

It’s scary how relevant the message behind this album is. It’s reality.

Nah... Our planet is not as sensitive as some fear mongers like to pretend in order to try and force more taxes out of us. But, I still fucking LOVE it for the same reason I enjoy world ending movies. Even though it's BS, it's still a compelling story. This album is absolutely incredible!
