When this shit came out my homie put this album on at the peak of our acid trip and bro I don’t think I’ve ever heard any intro in metal come close to it. This album is seriously a masterpiece
I keep coming back to this album, this one is such a special brutal piece of art. I love the sight of confusion I receive whenever I share "The Fool" with my friends.
I was 16 when this album came out. I've never heard of you before but you became instantly my favourite band. No other group can bring together such brutality and such beauty at the same time. No other group can mix opera, classical music and death metal together to create such a masterpiece. I begin to growl with this album and I sang it so much that I know pretty much all the lyrics by hearth now. Thank you Fleshgod to gave us this album for free on TH-cam and I hope you will continue to bring us wonderful music and maybe an album better than it (although I doubt it). Love you from France.
I hope they will play And the Vulture Beholds and A Million Deaths live someday. These two are my favorite song and it's a shame that these 2 are never played live
I still remember how goosebump i was when 'march royale' kick in and followed with 'in aetarnum' at your show in Bandung, Indonesia back in 2016, best experience ever
Their shining hour. Easily one of a kind as only FA can pull such a feat off. Listening to this on a high end system is recommended. Edit: listening to this epic album after watching The Northman really hits different!
but like it is actually one of the best songs on the record. fleshgod capture this intimate brutal and unrelenting battle between beauty and decay so expertly.
This album reignited my love for extreme metal 💜, stepped away from it for some time except for some devin townsend now and again but I'm glad i found this album to bring me back to the genre
May I present to you Francesco Paoli, the drummer in this particular album (currently the vocalist of the band). He was one of the best in the genre when he was the drummer.
Finally a YT version where you can properly hear the transition from Marche Royale to In Aeternun smoothly.
On Vinyl it is absolutely amazing, with the CD (I own both) the CD has that stupid two second pause before playing In Aeternum!
@edwardwilliams5460 I don't understand why some albums can be seamless, but others can't
@@edwardwilliams5460the CD is gapless. Your record player simply doesn't support gapless playback.
* slaps roof of album *
This baby can fit so many sick solos in it
* slaps album *
* breaks hand *

Dude let me tell you. Listening to extreme metal on acid is one of my favorite experiences I ever had. I need to trip soon lol.
✝️

One of the best and most special extreme metal albums, a milestone for the genre.
And the Vulture Beholds!😍😍😍
"King Tour with orchestra" would be a dream
just coming back to this album to realize its a real fucking theatrical experience of death metal and there's nothing else like it
Normal people at 2:55 : "Oh wow, that's a lot of drums"
Fans of the band at 2:55 : "Nah, that's just the pre-warmup warmup"
Normal people ? Fs that ? You do waffle ..

Check out Septicflesh. They're very similar and very good 🤘
Also I would suggest to check Carach Angren
Have you ever heard of ICDD?

Shadow Of Intent - enough said
When I saw them live they started by playing March Royale and In Aeternum and it changed my life
I hope they will play And the Vulture Beholds and A Million Deaths live someday. These two are my favorite song and it's a shame that these 2 are never played live
Those two are fire, I'd love to see them too
Riffs of a million death is soooo tasty
Under Black Sails!!
This is an essential metal album and I tell everyone who will listen to me.
The real challenge is finding not only someone who will listen, but who can actually appreciate it.
I still remember how goosebump i was when 'march royale' kick in and followed with 'in aetarnum' at your show in Bandung, Indonesia back in 2016, best experience ever
Probably my favorite album! Fleshgod at its best!
Mafia
@@joiem1634 mafia is sick af but this is much grander
This is the first time I listen to these guys. The intro is so full of power and I love that
49:30 is just awesome. They are masters of fast and heavy, but when they go slow and melodic, it's next level.
This sounds like if Mozart Compose a Metal Opera !!!
Overdose of Art & Pure Metal .
Congrats !!!
You got to listen to Bal Sagoth. "A Million Deaths" is like a modern Bal Sagoth song.
Their best Album IMO
This is the best album I've ever heard, flawless masterpiece.
One of my favorite Fleshgod Apocalypse albums.
Agony still remains their best to me, but this one is right up there with it. Awesome album 🤘🤘🤘
This is so tasty to listen, usually metal is harsh and sometimes a bit pleasant, but this really goes down the throat easily.
same with ur mom
AY-YOOOOO

That move from march royale to in aeternum is so sick
A Monument for the King built for Eternity under scorching Heat , tall and proud. Because he is the King.
Added to Favourites too.
💜Syphilis 🖤

Your names will be remembered forever in time. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This album reignited my love for extreme metal 💜, stepped away from it for some time except for some devin townsend now and again but I'm glad i found this album to bring me back to the genre
same!
I'm usually a folk metal gal, not really symphonic, but this band is incredible
If you're into folk death, but can enjoy symphonic too - check out the album Downfall and Rebirth by Northland. Thank me later
Perfect warm up listen before they go on tour and we get to enjoy some of this live!

Pretty good. Better than I might've thought. Enjoyed.

I was like 13 when i heard fleshgod apocalypse and my mom thought im satanist.
