I was with them since their debut. I thought they had potential. But I quit at Humanure and had not followed them since. Until someone on the internet convinced me to give Death Atlas a shot. I did. And I was blown away at how much better they got. Monolith, Death Atlas and Terrasite have dominated my playlists ever since.
To me it didn't top Death Atlas at all. It also didn't top Monolith of Inhumanity for me or variety of Anthropocene Extinction but is somewhat on par with it. Still great album though.
First time listening to this, blew me away especially the lyrics. When I am in a bad mood, I listen to heavy music it calms me down. Lyrics are pretty dark about human termites destruction inflicting mother earth. This band sounds anti human. Sure fits the description of society we are living in now. Wow!!!

My opinion: this album is as groundbreaking as Master of Puppets was in 1986. It only took CD 7 albums and 21 years to break out, but whatever... This album is a masterpiece, and I think CD will explode from here. I downloaded and listened on a Bluetooth speaker and was blown away by how much keyboards was on this recording (all midrange frequencies). Yes, keyboards get credit on the disc. Thank you Travis Ryan, the driving force behind CD, and thank you Metal Blade for bringing us this treasure. PS - I saw CD in Reading PA on the Chaos and Carnage tour... last and best act of the night, and worth the wait.

At a time when fewer and fewer truly concept albums are being released, Cattle Decapitation gives us a whole series. Terrasite is a logical evolution, insectoid post-apocalypse in all its glory. I listen to it again and I can't stop.
These guys are masters! Not one member that isnt amazing at what they do. They're my favorite band even moreso after this album. I'm thinking about getting an ouroboros tattoo. Just dont know where........ But yeah, this album is yet another masterpiece!

As an avid metal fan, listening to since the early 2000's, i generally stick with bands i like a lot and rarely branch out much. Having heard CD before, i never got into them much. After this album, i am glad i did. Just wow. Will definitely be going on rotation when i get in my metal moods for years to come. This one definitely left an impression. 10/10.

I bought Karma, Bloody Karma back in the day and thought it had potential wasn't my thing. Almost a decade later, I heard Monolith and Anthropocene around the same time and was blown away. Their current work with the producer they record with is a different beast and straight up some of the best metal ever composed. If you like Terrasite, you should absolutely listen to Anthropocene which are in my opinion their best albums, and of equal quality.

It's basically Anthropocene again with the same riffs and the same time signatures and the same chorus in the same places with no unique song structure. It's a less inspired version of their last 3 albums

This album single handedly restored my faith in metal, and hopefully it inspires a whole generation to simply, try.

Never cared for them way back, was always a Corpse guy myself, but this album made me sit up and pay attention, fantastic stuff!
I bought Karma, Bloody Karma back in the day and thought it had potential wasn't my thing. Almost a decade later, I heard Monolith and Anthropocene around the same time and was blown away. Their current work with the producer they record with is a different beast and straight up some of the best metal ever composed. If you like Terrasite, you should absolutely listen to Anthropocene which are in my opinion their best albums, and of equal quality.

@justinkroboth360 derivative with the same stucture of the other albums but less original or unique. It's basically Anthropocene again with the same riffs and the same time signatures and the same chorus in the same places with no unique song structure.
