What a sick work guys, probably the best tech-death album of the year!!!! That part from Mozart's Lacrimosa in Reverie on the Onyx is just beyond amazing!!!!
Relentless Mutation changed my life, and I have waited 4 long years for this, with enormous expectations. You guys have surpassed them by 1000 fold!!! I cannot see how anyone will bother making tech death after this. I can hardly listen to anything else now. This should go down in the annals of history as a milestone in human achievement. You should all be so fucking proud! I thank you all profoundly and profusely from the bottom of my heart and soul. Now if only you would add Australia to your tour dates!
I've been waiting for Archspire to release new music since I first heard Relentless Mutation in 2018, I can't believe it's actually happening. AOTY for sure
Exactly. They became my favorite band in 2018 with Relentless Mutation. I remember seeing the CD album in Newbury Comics back in 2017 when I was buying some stuff, but I never knew what they were about, but I ended up buying Converge's The Dusk In Us album instead. Then I found them in 2017, and realized..that I should have gotten the Relentless Mutation album.. anyways.. I've been a metalhead for 12 years didn't know about their first album in 2011 until 2018.. it's been 4 years, and now I'm so stoked! Hopefully you enjoy the album as well.
I have secret for you: you will start to say that every upcoming album you want to hear is AOTY. I did it with Gojira, Slaughter to Prevail and Trivium
I am like 80 releases deep this year on bandcamp and that's just the shit I deemed "excellent" and worthy of a buy. This however is next level. Listened 4 times and this is my album of the year and it's really not even close. I have no idea how the hell they managed to top Relentless Mutation. Well done guys 🤘

I'm so happy and thankful to be part of this wonderful metal golden era! Each listening just keeps the appreciation growing stronger. And even if we're with some extreme technical stuff, everyone around me that's not used with it (more used to rapidly push it back) is able to pass their barriers and understand the great virtuosity and melodic aspects. I very like the way you guys are marketing yourselves... from the province of Quebec, long life to Archspire... stay tech ;)
This is absoluty insane. I can't wrap my mind around how good this is. Those last two songs alone top pretty much anything that came out the last few years.
My favourite highlight is definitely from 14:10 to 15:20. Love the small "calm before the storm" bit that makes it punch so much harder when it resumes, and then that chorus is just stuck into my brain, very very catchy
So, I've been a fan of Dean's because of his YT show with his wife. Only ever gave Archspire more than a cursory glance because it was a bit too extreme for my tastes. This album is clicking for me HARD now. It's so damn melodic and rhythmic all at the same time, and I can hear and appreciate every intrustment, and the vocals feel weaved into the music rather than on top of it, if that makes any sense. In other words, I fucking love it. Hard to believe I discovered a new favorite band from the guitarist's TH-cam show. What a time to be alive. I feel old.
I have to admit something. About two months ago a guy from my local record store recommended Archspire to me, and the first time I listened to their previous album, I burst out laughing. Not because it was silly, but because it was something completely new and weird (in a good way). It sounded like if the aliens from the movie Arrival, being able to simultaneously see and live the past, present and the future, were summoning riffs from their entire lifeline in the speed of light. Cool stuff!
Never experienced Archspire before, but this is genuinely one of the best metal albums I've heard since I started listening to metal 15 years ago. Sheesh. So well-rounded, incredibly densely mixed. A genuine achievement as far as I'm concerned.
I've been in hospital for 20 days.. covid.. Now I'm home.. Listening to this masterpiece.. And I really think this will cure me completely. Speechless.
Wild, complex, beautiful, surprising, and unpredictable throughout. At times also, merciless and filthy. Also, very fun and kickass throughout. I say this as a guy who's not that into Death Metal, but still, easily my new favorite Death Metal album. The guitar and bass work on this is a big highlight, some amazing stuff going on with guitar and bass. The drums, absolutely demolished, what a drummer. And Oli has a way of using his voice and a knack for rapid and skillful pacing that's really impressive, and unique. So much to praise here and talk about, but I'd have to spend a lot of time re-listening to tracks and thinking to formulate it all. I'll just wrap it up with two things. 1. Love the hilarious way they used that audio clip at the end and then finished the album with the most fast and intense of all the tracks. Complete slaughter of the senses in the right ways. 2. My favorite track was hard to pick, but was probably Drain of Incarnation, and my overall review, I'd say it at least deserves a solid 8/10. Killer job boys.
Lacrimosa...crafty, Archspire. Crafty. And people are baffled when I say I listen to classical and metal. Amazing song written around that progression (and the whole album obviously). Keep it coming.
The Mozart Lacrimosa melody and subsequent MADNESS in Reverie on the Onyx had me jumping around like a lunatic with excitement. This is a special, special album boys.

@@thelastdaybreathinginetern1385 off chance it was the newbury comics at the Roosevelt field mall?
@@HCmetal022 No
i found them last year from a 66samus stream. ever since i heard remote tumor seeker i knew i wanted more music from this band 🤘🏻
Clicked on this because the album art is bad ass, I've never heard anything like this before...I love it
Drone Corpse Aviator (0:00-3:44)
Golden Mouth of Ruin (3:46-7:48)
Abandon the Linear (7:52-12:20)
Bleed the Future (12:26-16:13)
Drain of Incarnation (16:15-20:34)
Acrid Canon (20:39-24:32)
Reverie on the Onyx (24:43-28:29)
A.U.M. (28:30-31:30)
Fucking love the album guys, keep killing it!!!!
Don’t understand why Oli’s lyrics are never about eggs 🥚🤷🏾♂️
That was absolutely brilliant. I shed a few tears. You've outdone yourselves. Thank you!
*shred
My expectations for this album were so high and yet this still surpasses them. Stay tech, indeed.
Yeah I can agree, except I got frontierer tied with archspire. Different styles but both are next level.
@@xazmuthx00 I feel this way about First Fragment and Archspire although they're at least closer in style lol
Frontierer is pretty nasty tho, love their sound design
Agree, Drain of Incarnation did it for me, that song is utterly incredible.
The TH-cam ad algorithm hasn't figured out tech deathcore yet as to where to put the ads. This may be our last means of uncensored communication 😳😳🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Been a fan ever since a few weeks after lucid collective dropped, and every album pulls me in more. Can't get enough
You hear the most insane album in your life being outdone by the same people every time.
@@bigtinn7591 that's exactly it! Every time I listen to an album I think *that's it. It can't get any better* and then it fucking just d o e s
Spectacular platter. You lads go from best to better every time. The pinnacle of modern technical death metal.
Hail from Ireland.
This is a certified hood classic and 100% a fucking
This is unnecessarily good. Yall could have made this 70% as good as it turned out and it still would have been a masterpiece.
You guys should be proud, it takes alot to be called my fav band. You guys hit all the right points. Much respect.
Instant classic ! Superb production, skilled musicians, intense compositions ... Fantastic album, hats off !
Ths is straight up the best tech death album I've ever heard, hands down.
Congrats on listening to your first tech death album!
@UCURLlOoBQcKvJOaeB_Q1LHA fuck off mate. He's right, this is the best tech death album. Hands down.
@@ian2350 ehhh is he? Spawn of possession has really good albums, also tech death sucks, you should go listen to spiral architect
@@doopsoupboop1301 ok i will thank you 🙏
@@ian2350 hope it changes your life man, spiral architect is like a phenomenon more than a band
My favourite highlight is definitely from 14:10 to 15:20. Love the small "calm before the storm" bit that makes it punch so much harder when it resumes, and then that chorus is just stuck into my brain, very very catchy
Possibly top 5 tech death albums of all time. Good on ya boys
0.49: “bring your basket to the college!”
This is Archspire’s best album for me, it’s simply perfect 😍
So, I've been a fan of Dean's because of his YT show with his wife. Only ever gave Archspire more than a cursory glance because it was a bit too extreme for my tastes. This album is clicking for me HARD now. It's so damn melodic and rhythmic all at the same time, and I can hear and appreciate every intrustment, and the vocals feel weaved into the music rather than on top of it, if that makes any sense. In other words, I fucking love it. Hard to believe I discovered a new favorite band from the guitarist's TH-cam show. What a time to be alive. I feel old.
You should definitely check out the labum Relentless Mutation in addition to this one from them! It's almost as good honestly
Nothing is better than this album, back to front, front to back, no skips, no filler, just 31 minutes of greatness.
Cool stuff!
I've waited for years for this!! One of my most anticipated records in the last few years!
I honestly didn't think you guys could top relentless mutation, but I was dead wrong. Fantastic work
Never experienced Archspire before, but this is genuinely one of the best metal albums I've heard since I started listening to metal 15 years ago.
My brain nearly exploded after hearing this.... these guys aren't human, they're machines. Holy crap this is beyond awesome.
The Mozart Lacrimosa melody and subsequent MADNESS in Reverie on the Onyx had me jumping around like a lunatic with excitement. This is a special, special album boys.
THE GLORIOUS RETURN OF THE KINGS OF TECH DEATH
I'm a pretty new fan. Found Dean's videos around the same time Drone Corpse Aviator came out and have been obsessed ever since. This album is phenomenal. Great job guys
Not only are you technically mind blowing, but the actual melodies, the structures, the rhythms, next level! Love it, and thank you!
This album is fucking amazing! Absolutely stunned at how fast, technical, and melodic this is. This band are God damn aliens!
A pasado tanto tiempo desde de que me sentía emocionado por un nuevo álbum.
Si esta banda es muy buena, tiene su estilo preciso y tecnica brutal
archspire making me fall in love with death metal all over again
espero que o first fragment não deixe por pouco. hehehehe
adoro essas duas bandas.
muita técnica. fico pedido entre apenas ouvir, e tentar entender como é possivel tocar assim, cantar assim.
This whole album is harder than diamond studded titanium. Holy shit it's awesome.
Idk what it would cost but an Archspire, Lorna shore and ROS concert would complete my life.
Eyy, finally seeing the Lorna mention here nice
Which ROS exactly please, as Sigur doesn't quite fit? Anyway, Lorna shore has toured with Archspire in 2015
Time is going so slow until the release, but the songs will be so fast. Perfect balance.
this album will epitomize, uphold and fertilize extreme metal for so many years to come
This is a great album. There are things I like about it that to me are better than the older albums and vice versa. There last album is my favorite though. This album is absolutely Brutaful!!!
You guys have released my favorite album of all time, 4 times in a row. The goatest of goats.
Yeah, they’re not baaaaad
Been rocking btbam and Triviums new records till this. So happy this is finally out! Stay tech!! 🤘
This is an ecstasy running under my skin all the way when riding on roller coaster😵💫 Perfect
Archspire, First Fragment and Ophidian I have set the bar so fucking high this year.
I chuckle at the people who say no one is doing anything new or exciting in metal.
Abandon the linear is my favorite single 100%
I haven't been this hyped for a new album since SOAD's hypnotize/mezmorize which was what like 15 years ago
Makes sense.
hopefully not as disappointing as mesmerize was lol
oh yeah and both were complete shit
@@hazardeur Bleed The Future and Mesmerize are trash ? You lost all credibility with a single comment.
@@medusa6491 they meant Hypnotize & Mesmerize were both shit. Pretty easy to get the context of what hes saying.
So I bought this album just for Drone Corpse Aviator.... But I'll be damned the whole album is incredible
My god... Drain of incarnation is a hidden treasure! The best one for me! Amazing job guys! Thank you for upload the full album!
after a few months I still listen to it every day. Archspire is probably the best thing i know about Canada
it not just good in pieces. its good as a whole. these guys are composers.
I haven’t been this excited for a record in years. Thank you Archspire and Season of Mist. It’s breathtaking hearing the future of tech and metal as a whole being forged by such a forward thinking band.
I'm generally not into tech death, but you guys make it sound so interesting and exciting that I had no other choice than becoming a fan
21 год просто сумасшедший, столько альбомов у дэт металлистов, супер, а самое главное, Archspire моя любимая группа🔥🤘⚡
