yes mr game
BAYLE! VILE BAYLE!
I HAVE DONE IT RT I HAVE BEAT THE GAME ON FAITH BUILD NOW CAN THOUH PICK MY NEXT BUILD TO BEAT RADAN WITH
We need the 3 hour directors cut
Yoooo
I've never seen Sanguine Noble Nataan, because i've never seen anyone fuck up every single npc quest in the game.
You are supposed to be able to summon the Npcs you've met across the journey. Thats why the music is like that. You're supposed to be fighting half the npcs with the other half on your side.
That guy is a failsafe.
Hell i don't even know if this guy was even documented in the Wiki.
Here at RTGame we are making REAL discoveries
I was also wondering who tf was he. He wasn’t my boy Ansbach.
@@chinsaw2727He's not Ansbach OR Thiollier. Did Dan even talk to Thiollier ever, at any point?
@@gideon903 Doubt he did.
@@gideon903I mean, it is ludicrously easy to miss Thiollier and get locked out of his quest (a fate I have suffered), so not exactly a surprise
The wiki page for him goes to a internal server error, he's just mentioned in sir ansbach's page lmao
I find it hilarious how many npc quests Dan missed when most of them are just chilling at Graces.
Igon being the only one he didn’t because the man is fucking screaming at all times is even more hilarious though.
It's honestly unfortunate, he missed a lot of content because of it.
and they arnt even complicated like usual from soft ones, he little just takled to the one guy in the storehouse and needed to talk them each one more time,
i got frustrated when he just stopped exploring started be-lining to burn the tree and the final boss
CURSE YOU BAYLEEEEEEE
I mean I missed most of them too. There are a LOT of graces in this game
BAAAAAAAAAAYLE!
Counter guy for the spreadsheet here, yes my username is different, surprised it wasn't shown at the end, but he died 170 times
Spoilers
Edit: top 3 killcounts were radahn with 31 deaths, rellana with 26 deaths and the golden hippopotamus with 18 time
Thats almost as much as me on fire giant
As is his right tbh
Thank you for your service
Through the dlc alone? Or the whole playthrough?
@@RedAlpha101the spreadsheet was dlc alone
I love the dichotomy of Fromsoft's weapons. One the one hand, there are swords that are super intricately designed and are massively important to the lore, and on the other there's "We took an anvil and attacked a stick to it. Have fun."
Someone in chat was saying that the stick would have to be some miracle material to be strong enough to hold that anvil without bending or shattering, and think that just highlights the point of the weapon: unrealistic absurdity
Anvil-on-a-stick was a hammer in Dark Souls 2 as well!
@@grantcooper5799 What makes it so funny is the fact that Souls games are usually pretty low fantasy. For the most part, the fantasy elements are usually a bit more grounded in comparison, which makes it all the weirder when a weapon comes along that lets you slap someone with a set of double doors.
Elden ring and the Dark souls trilogy will have armor/weapons that realistically could be made and be functional but also have a weapon that’s just a big finger.
@@darienb1127 Souls games are definitely high fantasy. High dark fantasy, which is pretty rare. I guess they can be grounded in comparison to something (not sure what though), but it's still high fantasy.
Walking right into Rellana as the first fight is prime RT behavior
And then straight into golden hippo lmao
Immediate Pontiff PTSD
I did the exact same ngl. The game really doesn’t indicate there’s a place to the left that you should visit first outside of the map.
@@D44RK_Iced_Yogs I saw the big fort and my "main story" senses kicked in, so I explored everything else on the map first
I ended up at Bayle for my second big boss fight of the DLC
Love that out of all of the streamers, Dan is the only one who has the in-universe appropriate reaction to fighting Radahn of
_...oh no_

@@justsomejerseydevilwithint4606It's a whole playthrough what did you expect?
@@Romapolitan people to have basic fucking internet ettiquette, but guess i'm old fashioned for expecting a moticom of politeness...
14:30 Miyazaki adding more and more crustaceans into his games. It is becoming a prawnblem.
It's shrimply ridiculous. It feels like there's a krillion of them by now
Youve gotta be squidding me
Krill issue on shrimpment
It’s growing out of claw now, they should really clamp down on the issue.
The best part of these streams was how clueless Chat was compared to every other game. Like at 19:20, everyone was cooing over how cool the dead dragon was, then the healthbar appeared and Chat just exploded in shock and terror.
I was absolutely flabbergasted seeing dans Vigor in the dlc. Fucking 40 vigor king.
i have the same thing only because the main game enemies do so much less damage and i wasn’t ready ☠️
Less vigor means more strength
@@RTGame more strength means more hammers
Bro I have 60 and honestly if you explore a shit load before bosses like i do you get way too OP. I beat lion dancer first try. rellana on my 4th try. Hippo on my second try. Dans playing the way Miyazaki intended lol
@@bmbrowns1778I think you're just cracked
Todd Harrowed continues his quest to sell Skyrim to everyone in these Lands Between
I mean, it just works I guess?
Skyrim or Bye-rim
I honestly wasn't expecting to see Todd Howard again. It's like reuniting with an old friend
He was beside us all along... our guiding Todd.
love how the first thing the dlc shows you is a giant beckoning beacon that Will throttle you through your screen
I love how Dan missed HUGE sections, entire legacy dungeons and went out of order in boss progression but still brute forced his way thru.
A someone who is not nearly good enough to survive the dlc, we will live vicariously through you rt o7
Todd Howard becoming Comically Oversized Hammer Dude is an anime arc I never thought we see again since the Ryan Reynolds arc. Taffy would be proud!

Not only that he used the jar to censor the fight.
@massgunner4152 I was watching the stream as that all went down. It took quite awhile to rally a team of people to come in and lead him through that area. He really didn't engage with anything with spindly legs the whole DLC
I think the funniest thing is that RT never managed to dodge the Hippo has the munchies attack. Even the normal enemy ones.
The sweetest thing was the spider hole.
And the grossest thing, either the hand mother or the jar people without jars.
If it makes you feel better that’s not the jar people, technically
That’s what gives life to the jars

Jerry once again proving he's the main character, of course with little help from RT.
32:00 fun fact, the word for "throwing someone out of a window" is defenestrate
Actually true, my god. That’s oddly specific for some reason
That reason being that someone being thrown out of a window was the start of a revolt that was one of the main reasons the Thirty Years' War started. An event kwown as the Defenestration of Prague.
@TaCo0oCaT english actually has a lot of specific words for a lot of specific scenarios. They are normally too obtuse for casual use though.
@@NargaDestroyer And it wasn't even the ONLY Defenestration of Prague. Czechish people seem really fond of yeeting people out of windows.
RT really said: “that’s it, I’m gettin’ me mallet!”.
"This ain't your fight. Give me your trousers."
-RTGame, 2024
56:25 Coast is clear when you hear Day say “hey hows it going gang”
I didn’t realize Dan changed his name. Loved the video Day!
WHEN HEAR DAY SAY
It's short for Daisy, he just loves her too much
Dread it, Run from it, Todd Howard will arrive to bring you the newest Skyrim.
Jerry: Spits at Rellana.
Rellana: So you have chosen, death.
love how not even 5 minutes in dan is already fighting the giant gingerbread man from shrek 2
I love how the npcs are like “I beg of you, traveler, grant me this one wish! My true heart’s desire!” And rt just goes “ok! 😀👍”
Freyja seeing Todd approach "Radahn? Is that you? ...oh, no. You're just the famous video game producer Todd Howard."
Turns out Mohg was the one being Mohglested the whole time, Justice for Mohg
#MohgDidNothingWrong he wasn’t a mohglester but was actually miquellested
Mohg didn't deserve to be Miquellested, but he still created a blood cult of murderers intent on killing everyone and making a blood world, so I still don't feel too bad for killing him. Just a shame that his mind was controlled and that he suffered horrible treatment since he was an Omen. Still not a great guy though
he beat the allegations
@@LtCdrXanderI might be forgeting some lore but i do believe he started the blood cult BUT the whole "hunting down other people" thing was specificaly to feed the egg Miquela was in
So we can at least absolve him of that
Then Radahn got Miquellested
In the previous Elden Ring video, you were easily able to kill several 'gods' ... in this Elden Ring DLC video, common enemies are easily able to kill you ...
>gets to the final boss
>there's almost an hour left in the video
oh dear
Here in Loving memory of the remains of RT’s “it’s too hard” post.
(2024-2024)
Let me solo her is now Let me solo him. He is helping with the boss Mesmer.
Edit: Name of the boss added.
So he's helping with the final boss? Hell yeah, that guy is bonkers
Helping with mesmer, second hardest if you don't do side bosses, final boss is way worse
@@NobleLeader6 nah OP forgor which one, he's doing messmer
Messmer is very easy though, if he was helping with Consort I'd be more impressed
@@tubb1 I forgot if it was final boss. I’d just assume it was the final
Fun fact! It's not pronounced "Skadoo" it's just the old english spelling of shadow, pronounced almost exactly like shadow.
He's still the only person I've seen pronounce "Siofra" properly first try (because Irish, I guess) so he gets some points at least
Cool. Counterpoint: “Skadoo”
Hey, wait a minute. That wasn't a fun fact
23 Skadoo
You can’t stop me from calling it the scooby doo tree
I love the fact that the first fuckin real boss he fights is like the one that go so infamous beacause for being difficult
Its the first boss nearly everybody meets
7:51 the human body cannot suppress the monkey within
“I don’t think I can do a Peter griffin voice… but maybe I can do his laugh” \*does a perfect Peter griffin laugh\* “no that’s not right”
I love the reignition of Elden Ring hate. The cornerstone of every Soulsborne and souls like game is to cheese the living hell out of every thing
to be fair you can absolutely cheese the everliving fuck out of everything in the dlc that hasnt changed lmao, you just replace sitting in a corner with prebuffing instead.
@@idontbelieveinmagic is prebuffing even cheesing though? like doing a bit of extra damage for like a minute on each attack I don't think qualifies as cheese. People are finding real cheese strats though, you can get gaius stuck on the wall that you enter the arena from and kill him by spamming zamor ice storm through the corner of the wall to constantly hit him while he's stuck.
@@jammo7370 ahh you see if you dont think prebuffing is cheesing you're not prebuffing enough.
prebuffing isnt always cheesing, but it can get very fucking silly. in base game for example you can ohko fire giant at ng+7 at rl-1 with an incredibly elaborate pre buff setup, and while i havent gone that far i have gone far enough to 3 or 4 shot bosses in the dlc.
They gave us the tools. We choose to use them.
ok dan i take your word for it now: youre a damn good souls player. the fact that you almost killed the dancing lion on your second try, first try solo, is INSANE. holy fuck. everyone ive been watching has been choking hard on him for like... min an hour.
The power of Jerry…
That boss kicked my teeth in more than any other boss in the DLC save the final one, i dont know why the Lion specificaly but yea, our boy RT is good
I… got the boss on my first try…
To be fair, that might of been a fluke, because I struggled against the other one that was in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh
More than anything it's the consistency. His longest fight was the last boss, and it's still not longer than 2 hours.
The Dancing Lion boss was sooooo cool!!! They really nailed the motions!!! The music was amazing too!!!
Me: Spends 3 hours to kill Messmer
RT: Big hammers go brrrr
The fact that when I asked my buddy if there were poison swamps in the DLC and he said "There's less of them" says *so* much about this game.
I'm so grateful he waited on playing it so he could stream it when it came out for the rest of us
1:04:09 this might be the best way i've ever seen lore told in a video game
I love that rt used a sunflower and an anvil attached to a stick to fight gods. He is very skilled even if Gerry does 90% of the work.
I love of the pure wholesomeness of RT's own personal guard ready to assist in dealing with his fears!
24:37 "Jerry is the Elden Lord now."
No truer words have ever been spoken.
Scadutree fragments are the most important thing in the dlc.
Almost as important as Mimic Tear on the last bosses 2nd phase.
44:50 Canonically, Peter Griffin is Irish-American which means that Dan's impression is 100% accurate.
40:15 Fromsoft, you really have a thing for the top half of women fused to the lowerhalf of creepy-crawlies, don't you?
I had a Radahn build going for myself when I entered the final fight lol. "You come in my property in my clothes with my swords? You're nothing but a cosplayer, boy." Ts
The fact Dan died way more to the lead up dragons than to bayle (only one death) will never not be funny to me
To be fair in the Bayle fight he had Igon who is just too angry to die
Spite fueled him. The other guy I mean
At least Pain Guy died as he lived. In agonizing pain.
I can't believe Chloe cut out the part where RT was invaded while clearing out spiders and thought it was a friendly. It must have been the weirdest experience that guy ever had invading someone.
Todd Howard is back to wreak Havoc on the Elden Ring DLC with his oversized weapons and insane dodging skills
Also thank you Chloe for the Arachnid warning, it really does help
1:18:10 Dan learns firsthand how BS his own build is lmaoo
I’ve been avoiding all other TH-camrs playing this DLC and been waiting for RT to come out with his play through. 🙏😭
the only other youtuber i watched to play this was vinesauce
14:39 - Everyone complained that there were too many crabs and Hidetaka Miyazaki took that personally.
the depths of dans foolishness upon asking if midra drops a hammer
My arms... My LEGS... EACH ONE OF THEM LIES A BLOODY RUIN!!!
@21:30 I see Dan has my reaction to spidery things.
Reminds me of Skyrim where my solution was chucking every large fire spell I could at anything which might have spiders until the stealth detector went back to hidden.
And then some more just to be sure I didn't miss any.
I love messmer so much. That flame color is beautiful, and the massive snakes are horrifying. Plus the way the music cut out with eye shot. Super cool
"Oh God what are you" should be the Elden Ring motto
yeah there's a reason why i keep knives ready to throw, with you having so many problems with NEARLY killing bosses xD
Arise Tarnished, thy has a Erdtree to burn
*thou hast
And once again does the Mimic Tear prove itself Elden Lord. The true god of the Lands Between. The one who shall bring about an age... of BONK!
Todd Howard returns for another round of insanity and sadness, welcome to the hardest DLC known to man
Now with horse armor!
Jerry came in clutch this DLC damn
You know, its very fitting that Todd entered the DLC looking like Radahn
Big sword master verses big sword master, I am immensely excited
I think all those barbed spears a reference to Cu Chulain and his spear, Gae Bolg.
RT: *Adds message to start*
Me: Accidental ominous foreshadowing!
so sad that RT didnt find the hammer you can throw. that would have been hilarious
48:16 Ceaseless watcher, turn your gaze upon this wretched thing
Thank you for adding a spider/scorpion warning, Cloe! Really considerate of you! ^^
I know Dan was getting all happy about Pain Guy as I guess we're calling him surviving but the actual craziest thing is that JERRY survived the fight against Bayle on a SLIVER OF HP. In my opinion Jerry was the true MVP of that fight.

I BEAT THE FINAL BOSS DLC, AND NOWTHIS COMES OUT!!! Praise the Elden Ring!!!!!!!
ok that rellanna fight was the greatest thing I've seen in gaming
never found that hammer knight, wow, Im going to have to replay this dlc
he found the frenzied flame area lets go!!!!
1:15 there's usually a questline of people, that will help you at this moment, their not that useful, but I never knew there was a fail safe for this, huh.
1:31:39 he found the mothe rof fingers, I'm so proud, it's genuinely the only boss that disgusted me btw
Someone had a theory that this DLC leans more into a Monster Hunter direction, specifically the main bosses are better at swapping between targets instead of focusing on a single person and a couple of the new weapons include movies that enhance movement, basically meaning the DLC is meant as more of a multi-person thing, so at minimum you should probably be summoning echos each fight but probably actually have people and NPCs helping.
Gerry died an honorable death. Rare lore. Looking forward to the Vaati video
can't believe the moghlestor was the moghlested the whole time
it might be stupid means, but it is genuinely amazing that you managed to beat the DLC at that level
Hey Dan, I recently had surgery on my nose to help me breathe better. I’ve been kinda suffering the last couple days so thanks for reminding me that I don’t have to suffer alone. :D
Me b4 this dlc: Miquella is my favourite
Me after this dlc: Radahn is my favourite
HE’S BAAAAAACK
34:46 "youtube, youtube, youtube, youtube, youtube" (this is a spider scorpion section so be aware of that before hand)
I had 54 deaths total before fighting Radahn. I had 288 after. I didn’t do any summons or cheese builds so the suffering was due to stubbornness. Honestly the most difficult/bullshit bullet hell boss I’ve ever fought in a fromsoft title.
I can agree to that. Most people I hear talk about how to beat that boss basically involves changing my entire build. Genuine advice is actually stay close to him, and what's needed is advice on how to dodge his many endless combos and bs aoes
I wouldn't call him BS (except his cross slash attack that's literally frame perfect if he does it at the wrong time), but the learning curve is absolutely overwhelming. Once I knew how to dodge all his attacks I started to have tons of fun with him despite taking hours of attempts to kill him. Arguably it's BS how hard to figure out he is, and admittedly I had to watch some hitless videos to figure out some of the attacks, but fighting him was the most fun I've had playing a game since the base game released. I totally understand not liking him tho, as I said he's totally overwhelming to learn, and he definitely doesn't top Gael as my favorite Fromsoft boss.
@@pjmcneely2661 could not have said it better. I didn't mean him himself is bs, but definitely that cross slash. It took me ages to learn how to dodge the meteors, and I still haven't learned how to dodge the follow up aoe when he sucks you in. And lastly, he doesn't do the the T pose aoe as a phase transition, he tends to charge me and drop it on me, Making it nigh impossible to dodge.
While scarlet aeonia or waterfowl took precision dodges, this boss has like 4 attacks that require precise dodges. I think you nailed it by saying that difficulty curve is overwhelming by far. Gael felt more of a smooth experience.
@@britthamby1445 all true, though one plus about his precision dodge attacks (except for the big suck follow up, I just got really good at dodging the suck) is that they generally don't outright kill you like Waterfowl so long as the entire thing doesn't hit you (at least at the durability I was at, which was 70% negation/60 vigor), but since there's so much precision dodging you can get hit by a bunch of hard combos back to back. It's fun for me still, but I think if the fight was even 2% harder I'd hit my limit in terms of being able to deal with it and still enjoy it.
@@britthamby1445 also, I'd love to get another Gael tier experience, but that was the conclusion of a trilogy, so I'm not betting on him being topped any time soon in terms of universal adoration from Fromsoft fans
I love that the final boss is just Big Sword vs Big Bonk
I love messmer so much. Such a kind, soft, gentle voice, and then he beats your ass six ways from Sunday and shatters his eyeball
I like how he's not ok with the spiders, but Mother of Fingers? I can take her!
I see Elden ring is taking some notes from Greek mythology with Radahn marrying his fucking half-sister
Half brother but yeah
Mimic Todd henceforth shall be known as Todd: Remastered
I'm so glad you and Cloe go out of your way to warm about the arachnids. Have such a fear of them which keeps me from these games. Thanks for all these entertaining years :3 Love your work, keep gaming on!
This is truly the eldest ring ive ever seen
