I just used one of these in an interior hallway. For the time I spent masking, the mess, and the fogged up goggles a roller is faster/easier. Granted I'm very experienced with a roller ( as a homeowner / DIY'er). Maybe I'll get better with time, but I don't know if I'll ever use it again.

@@MyDIYAdventures I should add...at 5'7" I can't effectively spray the ceiling - wall joint without a ladder...which slows me down a bit.
I also have the problem of NOT being tall!😃

Now that you've had it a few months, what do you think? My neighbor gave me his old one when he moved out but I havent gotten the hang of it yet.
I’ve only used it a couple times since...you need to be doing a pretty big job for the cleanup to be worth it in my opinion. I may paint a privacy fence in a few weeks, if I do, I’ll make a follow up video👍

Do you think it would have taken more time to use a roller???
I did another porch a few months back and had to paint them in the contractor’s shop. I couldn’t spray in there, so I used a brush and roller...it definitely took longer!

Same thing happened to me with the spray orientation. Also did you figure out the 2 step trigger?
Wait a sec...what’s the 2 step trigger? Was that something else I was doing wrong? LOL
@@MyDIYAdventures The one on the sprayer. When you pull it half way back it start picking up paint, and when you pull it all the way back it sprays.
Aha! It’s been a while since I’ve used it...I’m not sure if I was aware of that feature or not🤔 Maybe my tool reviews aren’t as helpful as I had hoped😂

They say you can use it with latex primer, but don't. It can throw globs of paint 15 feet.
It definitely needs to be thinned out to make it spray better
Don’t hold the trigger all the way down and it will not spit globs. It has a proportional trigger. I found out the hard way too.
You have to put it on high and Stains low
