- See 15 Scenic Wisconsin Waterfalls in ONE day on this north woods road trip challenge! Call us crazy but we're attempting to visit 15 scenic Wisconsin waterfalls in one day! Can we do it???
Right now all the fall colors are popping in the north woods of Wisconsin. For many locals this is the best time of year to take a roadtrip & go waterfall chasing. In this episode of SightseeingSally we head to Marinette County, the self-proclaimed Waterfalls Capital of Wisconsin. There we attempt to explore 15 amazing waterfalls scattered throughout the county all in ONE day, a record if I do say so myself!!! Since some of these waterfalls are true hidden gems found deep in Wisconsin's woods, this expedition is going to require not only some backroads driving but also some hiking. Follow along as we travel on this unofficial Marinette County waterfalls tour. Along the way we'll share insider tips, local legends, and forgotten history too. Are you ready for the challenge???
About me: I grew up in a small town the Midwest. Now I drive America's backroads exploring small towns, forgotten places, local history and more!

There’s an Easter egg 🥚 within the video. Do you know what it is? There’s also an oopsie - something I normally include that I forgot. Be the first person to correctly identify both and I’ll mail you a SightseeingSally sticker and give you a shoutout in a future video. 👇🏻
I love Marty's enthusiasm 😂 0:24
He can hardly contain himself!
My guess is the purpose of the 15 falls in one day challenge is to get people off their duffs and out into the parks. Then they can pick and choose which falls to come back to and spend more time enjoying. I'm pretty sure people, especially kids, will want to go back once they've seen these beautiful places on a whirlwind tour. Wish I could, but it's a bit too far from Oregon. So, everyone close enough, get out and enjoy!
Horseshoe Falls is my favorite. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Such beautiful scenery! Thank you for sharing. It's great seeing you both.😊❤
Thank you for the tour of the different falls on the Peshtigo River, and the name Peshtigo reminded me of one of your previous videos about the Peshtigo Fire. Thank you again Sally & Marty.
I'm with Marty about sitting in the car an waiting. Cause frankly, I don't think I could keep up with you! 😁 as always, Thumbs up 👍

Great video. Poor puppy has only three legs ❤
I just fall in love over falls.
Nice video!!! We used to have a cabin off of Parkway near Eagle River road and we used to go to the waterfalls around the area. It was always a]so relaxing and beautiful. Thanks for sharing I got to see some falls that I never made it to up there. Love your dogs too!❤
Great video, lots of info from you, Sally and … a chuckle from Marty’s dry humor.
A beautiful part of the country, love the falls and autumn colors. Nice photography. You do a very good job of narrating your videos. Love Marty's sense of humor. Thank you both, Lynn & Steve😻
My daughter and I are planning to go up to Marinette County on Friday. This video was great timing!
I do hope you have a wonderful time! Stay safe.
You made a big, splash, with these falls.
Absolutely gorgeous footage. You guys are adorable and putting together exceptional content. Thank you!
Love seeing 3 legged Leo with you guys. It is awesome that you rescued him
Hi, Sally and Marty. Thank you for your video. Have a great day.🎉.❤.
Found your channel today. I used to regularly drive up there just for the waterfalls. it has been over 7 years since I have been there. Thanks for the tour.
What a treat. I had no idea Wisconsin had such stunning scenery. Thanks for a delightful eye opener.
Wisconsin has some if not tge best fall colors of anywhere!
@@nadewitt-yf6ng Let me guess - you're a Wisconsin inhabitant. I've heard about the entire NE coast being vibrant fall colors and tourists love it. If Wisconsin is the prettiest, then I'll go with that.
@conniewojahn6445 I was originally from Plainfield. I was the paper boy and knew everyone and their habits. I also knew Ed Gein. We hunted deer on his land, and I might have mowed his grass. There is so much history of Plainfield that Sally wasn't able to know about it. It's too bad she didn't contact me before doing the video on it. We had trains and potato where houses. We used to be a vibrant little town back in my days. We were the biggest little town in that area at 642 people, which now is 924, I think the sign said. You will not be disappointed if you drive through Wisconsin and look at the fall colors. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy your ride through.
@Tapiocah Neither did I… until I opened myself up to the possibility. Over the years I took the beauty of my home state for granted. It’s only since I started exploring it that I realized how many hidden gems are here.
Love water 💧 falls...thanks Sally and Marty 😊
Finally an outro Sally! Well done 😅 good video. I'm from Amberg
You and That funny Marty are just terrific. Hope you keep doing this and are eventually discovered by some tv media.
I like Marty's Hurley shirt, does that bring back some memories.? LOL. Been rafting down the Pestigo back in the day
Beautiful as are you and Marty.
Thanks for another cool video you guys 🐾🌻🍦
Hello Sally from Longview Texas.
Waterfall? More like "What a fantastic video for all!" 👍
Love waterfalls so was looking forward to this video. Rustic roads are always interesting since you never know what you will find. Loving the fall colors! I am partial to reds and oranges. That cabin was kinda cool! Love haunted park/forest areas. Really love the rapids and falls. Do love to find small falls like 4 foot falls. I have been to places where "facilities" are not very elaborate. Really love that 18 foot falls, beautiful. Love that so many of the falls are named by how tall they are. 8 foot falls is beautiful and would be my favorite as well. Long slide falls is definitely awesome!! Glad you pointed out the tour options to see the falls. Dave falls looks like one to visit also. Thanks for sharing@ Really enjoyed the video.
The colors are only getting more beautiful. Spend a lot of time up in Crystal falls in the u p.
Cool Vistas
Once again thank you Sally and Marty for putting together another awesome video. You two should come over to Minnesota and I can put together a hotdish for us!😂
👀😮Beautiful
Absolutely gorgeous
Four foot falls? That's a tongue twister.😊
Thanks for the scenery ..... you allow us to "visit" so many interesting places
This video is gold🧡 You brought us there👌
Thank you! It was such a fun trip, glad we could share it with you.

Hope that Sundae will delish!

Grrreat!!
Fun times
I saw BIGFOOT ...... WEARING GLASSES !!!! ....... OMG
Did you forget your normal intro? and I am not sure what constitutes as an easter egg (but Disney easter eggs are references to other movies they make) So several times in this video you used clips from previous videos you made. All the ones when you were dressed for summer weather. Also, there was a quick viewing of your video from the Saltan Sea Also, I LOVE THE PARK episodes, where there are a plethora of gorgeous views. Hopefully, you got still shots of those views and you'll post them on FB or Instagram.
I didn't see any easter egg, I was distracted by the fall beauty of it all. I did see a lost cat poster at 2:23 though.
Thanks Sally, Thanks Marty!
Stayin tuned! 🤠👍
PS, I still don't know what your new dog's name is or his story, maybe I missed it.
🤔👍
In this video you look very much like you could be closely related to John Denver .....yup..... very similar facial features.... I never noticed this before...... funny stuff
I 0:48 wish you would of contacted me before taping Plainfield, WI. I could of told and showed you a lot of very interesting things you missed.
When you had the tounge twister on four foot falls there was a mushroom that looked like a easter egg. Again at end of video almost there were a group of mushrooms that could of been easter eggs!
Your lucky, when i was young all the board walks were natural walkways with no board walks.
Dave's falls in the past had rope bridge over it, had wood planks to walk on
Have you visited bond falls yet? They're awesome. Located in the UP, between trout Creek and watersmeet sort of.
23:55 Psychiatric help 5 cents.
(Lucy, 5 cents extra.)
😉👍
Did you ever tour the oneida county seat in Rhinelander WI?
Nice legs Sally in the opening scene!
I couldn't find any episodes on the town of Goodman Wisc. Am originally from the area, now and for past 30 years am in Ohio.
Oh no, what happened to your little puppy?

Are you close to the Wisconsin Dells?
No
Well your oopsie is you didn't add your SightseeingSally title card to the video. As for Easter egg, a secret prize or message in the video, hmm.🤔
