@@cheems7447 this was a while ago and I must say these headphones r amazing and definitely worth the price, at first the ear muffs where big but I got used to it. The rest of the headphones is amazing, and the mic is perfect for gaming or calls, the mic is a Sensitive so definitely something not to be screaming into other than that I would recommend them.

Long term use review here. I bought these back in june 2020. I game pretty much everydaayy for 2+ hrs. Switching between pc and ps4 it was great. The build quality is amazing it has been dropped multiple times as I have younger siblings and kids around the house. No cracks or broken pieces. Though the leather holding the strap ontop has started to peel off now for a bit and I cant say for certain, but it was a good time ago that the mute button didnt work or if it worked it would create static for other people. If I want to put a number on that I want to say maybe within a year or just but over that maybe 1.5 years again take that bit with a grain of salt because I dont remember exactly. The mic sound as you guys heard is amazing and Ive never had anyone complain about. The only thing is sense there is no builting software with this mic. It can very easily pickup background ive just circumvented it by putting a air shield thing on it and lowering the mic feed on PS. The comfort is amazing is a personal preference as techne said there is that sensation that there is pressure on your head, but it has never bothered me after a few seconds of having it on and if these had swivel it would be stinkin cozy imo. The ear pads are really nice and firm. The air ventilation is not bad either im here in NY so we do get all 4 seasons. Doing long sessions with these wasnt bad, or atleast I dont have memory of any time in which I felt that I needed a break from them because I was hot. On a scale of 1-10. I give these a 6.5 because of the mute button going out so early and on pc I hate it that it prioritizes is freaking software and I wasnt able to disable auto launching and I hate razer for that shi. Lastly the cable feels nice and durable, but over time it has become stuck with in ways that I basically call knots and not matter if you try unbending it wont go away basically making the cable not comfortable to be around and handle. Other than that I would definitely recommend this to a freind and if I was looking for a budget headset I wouldnt look anywhere else but these. They are great.
On another note for all of my peripherals ive always come to techne. Every single purchase ive made with his reviews have been basically spoton aside from a view personal prefences things. I trust this guy and tomorrow ill be getting my new headset all because of techne. Love you man!.

I actually love how much is squeezes your head, they feel secure and the Tightness gives a sense of security.
You look and sound like the wholesome guy that would never be rude to girls in online gaming and is there just to have a good time with everybody.

I just got mine and your review really makes sense now.
The cushions are really soft but it does put some pressure on my cheekbones. I have to adjust the pads so the pressure is spread evenly on the back of my head, as you said in the review.
The build quality seems really good overall, although the wire is indeed quite thin.
The sound quality is decent. It does feel kind of distant while listening to music, i haven't test it in games yet. On the other hand, the quality of the sound depends on the motherboard audio drivers since they are analog headsets so i'm not really sure if it's my mobo's fault on this one.
The microphone is ok. Nothing too crazy here.
The packaging was steardy, it makes you feel like they can't be damaged easily in there.
Overall, i think they're ok for 60euros. I don't have much exprerience on headsets but i'd put 4/5 on these ones.

I love these. I bought these to start Streaming and they're great! They sound good, they're comfortable, and in my favourite colour! I love them so much, that it's on my logo!
I decided to get the Stormtrooper edition and you really explained everything about it amazing job you earned the sub my friend
I’ve been using these since it came out,(honest review here based from what I’ve experienced)over all the headset is really big plus it gets even more bigger with the pads,the pads is really nice and soft it has some really nice and smooth and comfy material that was used in the ear pads,the mic sucks as all other gaming headset is i don’t really recommend it I did a test on my computer if it was better but turns out that using a mic is way more better than using the one on the headset,these headset comes with a 3 colors which is quartz,green and black but then later on they added new colors available,here’s is the cons of this headset,3yrs of use the leather gets worms off i did my reasearch on this and it turns out that leather needs a certain temperature in order for it to stay nice and sturdy ,unfortunately I live in a tropical country that every summer it gets up to 50 degrees Fahrenheit here so that’s the reason why mine did worn off although I replaced them with new ones,the scroll volume that was attached to the headset is really sensitive,this headset is also very flexible although throughout usage this headset will loosen over time and I’ve experienced it slipping off my head,over all this is a great product I would recommend it rather buying something that is cheaper than this ❤️💕💯💯💯

I've had a crappy off-brand amazon mic for 3 years and let me say. Its been used and loved. My friends always made fun of me and tbh it was pretty funny because I refused to upgrade to something better but with Christmas just passed I finally decided to get these kraken headphones after 3 years of love from my old one. I really did need an upgrade though lol. It was a braided cord so it got all twisted and impossible to straighten out and it was cut on spots where there was braided string loose everywhere and I would have to smack my left headphone because the audio would cut out always. I'm really excited for these and hope they stay with me even longer than the crappy off brand one I loved and used.
This headset has lasted me since it came out. I'm finally upgrading because the padding is starting to come apart from wear and tear. It started getting a weird echo where everyone could hear my headset. Besides that though the audio quality has lasted, so with a separate mic this could last another 3 years probably

this headset feels soo comfortable on my head, the only problem is that the audio gets really silent sometimes and I would have to twist the headphone jack or replug it. im not sure if its just the one i have but this headset would've been amazing if it weren't for this one problem :( this review was spot on though!

Is the ear-cushings on the Kraken still falling apart after a few months like they have for the past 4 years? Getting tired of black faux leather falling off and having to re-buy headset after a year all the time.
Nah my friend has had these for a year and there is absolutely no chipping or falling apart of the cups
@@eng3g3capetown32 That is bullshit. I've had several Kraken v2 and so has my son. Granted we live in a warm country, but the faux leather on the cups start to fall apart after a few months every time.

I just realized something, the new kraken is a hybrid between open and closed back headphones, it has the mesh air filter that cools your ears and immerses you into gameplay, while at the same time no sound escapes, a beautiful headset at the very least

I'm competitive and I like immersion. Just got the TE edition without realising the Spatial audio wasn't available. Will be returning them for a higher tier headset because I like both types of audio.

@@angeldoesitagain6911 it was a great headset for PC but the spatial audio isn't available on Xbox. So I chose the Astro A40 which is $150 more than this pair. They've been amazing and paired with the Series X/PC it's one of the best headsets

these razer are a bit more potent in the highs. So you will pick up a few more footsteps. But both are great

Another great video! just need to steal some of your expertise if you may lol, I play lots of r6 siege, warzone etc. In terms of best positional awareness would you recommend these or the Redragon HS510 Zeus? watched both reviews and narrowed it down to these 2, they roughly the same price in my country and I'm torn between these 2. Also, do i get a code with these to activate surround sound like in the Kraken X? Finally can i create a custom EQ's? playing on PC. Also just want to say, will highly recommend this channel to anyone looking to purchase new tech, perfectly unbiased! loveit!

I’ve broken 2 krakens by now never gonna buy another one get tangled way to easily 1st one lasted about 1 and a half years but the second only lasted about half a year not happy
wtf SAME. I have one, BARELY used from 2019. Tried to use it today, the left ear cup barely had any sound. Razer products die so quick now
