OMGOSH… Haven’t had any since my friend, from Louisiana, had a Crab Boil! Potatoes, Sausage, Shrimp , Mushrooms, Garlic, Onion, & Corn on the cob! Doesn’t get any better than this! Bring It On!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Are the snow crab legs frozen? Thinking about doing this myself but I can’t find a solid answer on that. The crab legs I’m looking at online are pre cooked and frozen. Can I just cook them frozen or should I thaw them overnight first?
If u have the money and experience depending on occasion go fresh!! But average Joe's like me pull the same outcomes... I've used both fresh and frozen
The fire is not on when the frozen corn is added. By adding it at the end it stops the cooking process. The shrimp and crab were cooked perfect. Thank you for watching!
Lol corn in husk from market is edible... don't need to cook semi soft corn 20 mins... buteveryone has their way of doing things but some also believe their way is the only way.... I've also had brisket taste the same fat cap up or down.... its all preference in the end
That’s 30 minutes to cook including soak time. Trust me it’s plenty of time. The reason you don’t add corn in early is because it soaks up boil and gets Wayyyy too spicy just try it before you knock it😂😂😂this guy knows how it’s done
Did he just put a plastic pack of seasoning into the pot 😶 and then he took the potatoes that was in the plastic bag and dump them into the pot without cleaning them😭 and there could also be lil stuff at the bottom of the potato bag💀
Yessir!!!

What was the brand of 2 cups of seafood seasoning? I Like a little cajun flavors but not too spicy. Thanks 1:41
It was Louisiana brand. Thank you for watching!
@@BigDaddysBBQPit thank you!
Hi nice video. Did the raw shrimp that you used have the shells on or off, I couldn't tell in the video.
Yes, shells on. Thank you for watching!
Did you put crab and shrimp while frozen
Doing it tomorrow crab and legs and shrimp defrosted?
Yes preferably, hope you enjoy! Thank you for watching!
Get you some!
Ho Lee Swift! I gotta do this. For two!

Either way should work fine. You’ll almost always find crabs legs frozen. Shellfish rots really fast
When you’re done with the boil, pour it into a cooler. It stays warm and you can move it around in case of bad weather.
Great tip! Thank you!
What is the heat/spice level? I love heat, but my family prefers a milder heat level. Thanks!
It’s not bad at all, we’re the same well with the spice level!
@@BigDaddysBBQPit Thanks!!
what size is that pot?
I believe this one is 80qt.
How many people does this specific recipe feed?
We fed 12-15 people with it and had leftovers.
Frozen crablegs and shrimp or fresh?
Both were frozen, that is what we could get. The shrimp were uncooked. Thanks for watching!

why not cook the crab legs and shrimp AFTER the corn? seems like you overcooked the crab legs and shrimp by doing it the way you did....
The fire is not on when the frozen corn is added. By adding it at the end it stops the cooking process. The shrimp and crab were cooked perfect. Thank you for watching!
Corn in last? Not enough time to cook.

I’ve tried this exactly the way he did it and I can tell you 100% the corn gets cooked. It turned out perfect.
@@claytonfisher5421 Good to know. We are planning a party so want to get this locked down. Thanks
Corn always goes last
Dumb question but are those frozen precooked crab legs?
Yes, that was all we could find at that time.
New subbie here 😊
Thanks for subbing!
Cooked sausage and crab legs before raw shrimp? Not the way we done it son
crab legs were done when he poured them in. should 2 minutes
Thanks for watching & the tip!
