It’s really amazing what humans are capable of doing. In just over 100 years we went from horse and carriage to this. If we all just worked together and helped our neighbors there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

@@k.laixxx it would change the airline industry. We would probably get around the globe more efficiently than we do now. And without burning so much fossil fuel. Remember The Flintstones going on vacation and the Giant pterodactyls flying the friendly skies. Wouldn't it be great. You would land at an airport have a giant bucket of water and a couple of sheep to feed the pterodactyl then load up and take off.

They been hand building the engines of Ford performance (formally svt) engines since at least the 1996 cobra possibly prior to that. There is a plaque on the engines that say hand built with pride and it has the 2 signatures of the techs who built your particular engine. I have a 97 cobra and 07 gt500 both were like that and I used to have another 97 back in the day.

Speed Phenom just has his 2020 GT500 on a Dino, had 706 at the rear wheels, so if you take the 760 advertised and deduct the std 15% as listed by sae, yup it has more than 760hp

@@SupraDebt Its more about the oil pump gear or connecting rod designs than it is about the method of forging. For example the Ford Performance "billet" OPG had rounder rather than sharper gear radiuses so more meat less stressed radi- less likely to crack.
      See post #69 www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/2019-voodoo-changes.124665/page-5
Ford Performance considers forged to include powdered forging. Spoke to Ford Performance many times to try to get clarity on this wrt connecting rod "improvement" changes that had been made some time ago and were being repeated for the 2019 Voodoo gen 2's and 2020 Predators. Apparently those rod changes were not all that new and went back a some years. Examples explaining powder forging isn't a drawback & offers strength advantages in performance app formulations www.dragzine.com/news/howards-racing-components-explains-dense-forged-powdered-metal-rods/
