@@cloverkip it's really not though, I've binge played the series recently and it really isn't that great. Both arcade titles feel very special and unique, NES is different but great in its own right as almost a reaction based game that takes some proper skill (with a lot of trial and error), and super punch out.. well it plays closest to the arcade out of the console game but it feels like a lot less than the rest. The fighters new to the game are underwhelming and the old ones are a lot more simple feeling when compared to prior titles. Then there's wii which feels like a total upgrade of NES but with a decent amount of spice (title defense, exhibition challenges, new fighters) to make it much more. Super punch out exists, it isn't bad, but it's only special because it's the only not special punch out
Time to rant for while Little Mac in smash is the biggest disappointment He’s moveset is awful I’m sorry if you like his design but Mac is ugly when realistic And only the Minor and World circuit themes are available I want to lose my ears to Mr Sandman’s theme while beating the sh*t out of Bowser
The premise of punch out is taking a personal disadvantage (being 5’7 and 107 pounds lol) and overcoming those objectively stronger than you, little Mac having a major disadvantage has made him immensely fun for me to play

It's a crime the rest of the Wii Punch Out!! ost isn't in smash. Imagine fighting to a remixed Glass Joe theme. It would be hysterically awesome!
