I loved Rocky 4 and it's one of the most deep and emotional movies in the series. But when I heard Ivan making the King Hippo sound effect I lost it! x'D
I like how they only took little bits from what was said in the movies, but the parts they chose seemed completely appropriate for an NES era game. haha
That Bald Bull mocking laughter in Punch-Out must have been one of the most cruelest things the NES ever did to us...it was so mean! Love this vid! Great job!
Yep, Stallone insisted on keeping the Rocky series fight scenes as real as possible, which included real punching. Unfortunately Dolph turned out to be a bit too good at it, being both a massive guy and turning out to be a bit of a natural at boxing. He knocked Carl Weathers silly while filming one scene as well, causing Weathers to almost walk off the project in a frustrated rage. There's a similar story during the production of Rocky 3. For some reason Stallone insisted on taking a real punch from Hulk Hogan just to experience it (A punch from a young, heavily steroided up Hulk Hogan, what could go wrong?). It went about as well for Stallone as you'd expect.

It was one thing when I saw PUNCH OUT! in the title, but another thing to hear the sound effects be in sync with the punches. What really did it for me was the dialogue in between matches in sync with how they speak in the game. OMG lol. I've subscribed. Thank you for making my day today.

Damn I played this game almost 30 years ago and I can recall all musics and sounds. On the other hand I almost forgot all musics from next generation consoles I played last week. Programmers by that time were geniouses.
