I came here after losing my turtle Slash. We found him in 1990 (10 going on 11, fifth grade) and he made it with us til July 16, 2020.
So he's been in my life just under 30 years. People don't realize how cool Turtles really are. They are extremely social and very smart.
Earth Boy Sun and Rain, R.I.P. Slash, as a fellow Turtle/Tortoise care taker I know exactly what you mean. I understand your loss.
😢😢😢 Your right thank you they really are. ❤️🐢
Wow, looking at these videos from 5 years ago shows how much you have accomplished in educating and growing your compound ❤
So true!
I literally found this channel last month... and I just binge watch it all day.. Kenan is the man..
I love how respectful you are for others animals, like asking permission to touch!
Agree
10:58 Background action, turtle doing the barrel roll!!!!
It's really cute how they run up to him to get their food. It's like they're saying "alright I'm here. I'm ready to eat."
I was just thinking about kamp kenan and garden state turtles would have this meeting. Finally, my dream came true. Two power houses reptilian knowledges.
Oh my gosh they are so adorable 😊😊😊❤️🐢🐢🐢.
10:57 the turtle in the background on the right XD
hahahaha
When keeping groups of turtles together in a large area, do they cross breed, or do they seem to stay with their own?
I was going to post that but you beat me to it 😂😂😂😂 sooo funnny 🐢🐢🐢
I used to love catching critters in upstate New York as a kid! Fun to see them there.
Beautiful enclosures! The turtles are living in turtle heaven!
Wow my favorites together. Thanks
Back in the 80s I bought a Blandings turtle from a pet shop very rare.
The spotted turtles are sooooo cool
The blandling turtle is endangered where i grew up in Nova Scotia Canada. They are trying to bring the population back up. I live in Arizona now. But i use to volunteer during the egg laying And hatching season. You help protect the nets from raccoons and other animals. It was awesome helping out.
Beautiful enclosures
Love the ideas of taking care of turtles and the attitudes to these gorgeous species.
Awesome box turtles
I love this.
OMG...how cute! They just line up like... "oh me next dad, me next! pleeeeeease!" ((munch!!)) hahaha so cool
Oh nice, yeah I live in Scranton, Pa...we get them walking across the road here when you go near either mountain
16:33 did anyone get that joke 🤣
Omg hi baby!!! 💜💜
Hope I can do this to my backyard one day
One of my favorite videos of yours. I live in NH on a big property. My dream is to open some sort of native turtle rehab. Assholes around here don’t even bother swerving for common snappers come early summer.
Pretty sweet backyard!

What do you use to keep water in your pond, I’m interested in building a pond and what to give it a natural look.
Just a tip bud: The Info Pop-up says "Ckeckout". Small, but worth mentioning
I want to be like that when I grow up
Hello kamp kenan
I live in upstate NY and have seen one spotted turtle and it was laying eggs
😎
You mentioned a rescue being overweight for eating pellets and shrimp. I only feed mine that most of the time, could I be directed to a good list of what her diet should be?
Berserk kittens use google
I thought you were going to lose a finger. Those turtles were definitely eyeing you off.
Hey, kenan, what would be the best kind of tortoise for an apartment and some ideas for how to make a naturalistic enclosure using my balcony, tubs, etc.

I'd like to know how he maintains water quality in those small ponds inside the box turtle and spotted turtle enclosures.
It would have been nice to know the date in May....actually. Nothing wrong with pre-filming on a nice day.
Help please So like I have my turtle I think it’s a map turtle and for the last 2 weeks he’s acting weird , he’s like very shy and he’s for every thing scared and I think he is half blind cause when I put my finger right for his head he doesn’t respond to it I think he only is seeing a schadow if things what should I do? Please help!
What Brand and Model devices did he use for yard defense please?
