I loved Chris video. Two of the best people that share such love, and passion for tortoises, and turtles. That red dragon mix breed was so beautiful. Chris has some awesome enclosures. Kenan was having so much fun on his treasure hunt to find a baby turtle. I would really enjoy more videos of Chris, came Kenan again. So nice to see Tom. ❤Tortoises, and turtles🐢Cindy

Garden State Tortoise’s place is amazing. I love their channel.
Omgoodness that dragon is drop dead gorgeous. They definitely need to keep working on that as a new breed. And yes Chris and Casey are always fun to watch. Tfs
That red dragon was gorgeous. I'm from NJ and when I was younger I found a box turtle at the top of a steep hill. When I reached down to get it so I could put it back down the hill it hissed at me. So I left it alone.
I love that you went to see Chris at Garden State. I just love what he does, love his husbandry, and of course I love Otis..... Good to see you Tom!!
Thanks Kerry and Hi! - Tom
Turtles are so cute..
Great video!
The orangey-red of the Red Dragon Turtle, reminds me of those special sunsets where the clouds colour up spectacularly.
Fingers crossed they can breed true
So great seeing the two of you together. I love watching both of your channels.
Man, Chris’s place is incredible! 😍
Oh my gosh... that Red Dragon was stunning! Kenan, it made me wish you had a pair of those glasses for colorblind people because you would have lost your mind if you could see what that turtle actually looks like! 🤯 Holy Cow!

Chris and Kenan what a perfect turtle combo, lol.
The Red Dragon was a real stunner, I can see why others would want to create more.
Thanks Kenan, love when you meet up with fellow turtle devotees.
Merci beaucoup kenan ,.
Ciao 👍
Already know & appreciate Chris' channel - great to see you guys together!
More to come!
Kid in a sweet shop comes to mind ❤❤😅
Very nice shows if you stay with localize critters how little work but all the fun you can have the best of both years. Been a long time now but when we let Pokey and Speedy lose they thrived for decades in the neighborhood. Now both my parents have passed so I'm unable to know if they are still around.
Eastern Box Turtles are one of my favorites along with North American Wood Turtles and Common Snappers.
The hybrid is amazing. I would be curious to know more about them. Not sure why your guest doesn’t seem interested in them or breeding them to learn more about them.
Great to see Tom😊. I love Matt too !
The picture you used for the Ryukyu Black Breasted Leaf Turtle is a Eastern Box Turtle.
Wish I could have turtles and tortoises here in southern Wyoming. I have a Russian tort and we go outside on hot summer days but that all the natural, nature she gets.
I learn so much from both these guys. I rescued a hybrid three-toed/ornamental.
2 of my favorite reptile channels!!
this is what all humans should be doing!!!
for diffrent species depending on where your at.
not just turtles either but all species.
@KampKenan THIS IS AWESOME! YOU SHOULD DO MORE COLLABS!
What a wonderful Birthday present!! Chris and Kenan both my favorite channels. Thank you both for all you do for us and all of our reptiles friends.
My two favorites!!! 💕
Yo, that wood turtle out of the creek is COOL! That is the wild type look? What a cool looking, awesome animal.
Yeah I can in this is Joe I live in South Daytona a transplant from New York from Long Island like you😊

👋🏻 GoOD Morning
Good morning!
Awesome to see collaborations between Garden State Tortoise and Kamp Kenan! That hybrid looks really awesome, and its cool to know that it is not sterile too.
my two favorite channels togheter .. amazing... greetings from portugal and thnaks for all de content.
My 2 faves in one spot!! Great !
Love the new video of the Garden State tortoises. It's very cool to see you excited about these wood turtles and having such wonderful memories as you grew up. You make me excited. I have never been into turtles and tortoises until I watched you. Thank you for bringing these wonderful animals to light. They don't get the exposure like lions, tigers, bears, gorillas do. You make it important that all animals are special no matter how common they may be.
You are so kind, thank you very much!
Kennan+ Chris= Magnificent content! While visiting my son in the hospital, this brightens my day 😊. I can’t wait to see the other videos at Garden State Tortoise ❤!
Got a north American box turtle in the black breasted leaf turtle graphic lol.
Wow there are special videos here and then there are special videos that are just wild. But the picture of the G. japonica put in the red dragon parents introtuduction is not a japonica but an amercan boxturtle. I only mentioned it cuz i think they truly look special like a little oni.
I’ll be getting a western hermanns from Chris soon ! So excited
Same situation with the Eastern Box Turtles on Eastern LI here; they were always found crossing (then) dirt roads, in the woods and garden at our summer house & those of my dad’s (old LI) family. Also most common were Eastern Painted & Common Snapping Turtles, Hog-nosed & Eastern Garter Snakes and several frog & toad species. I hope urban sprawl hasn’t affected their habitat out there too drastically, the degree of traffic & housing explosion has turned me off LI proper. I have seen all the aforementioned species (and Garters) recently on Fire Island National Seashore & Point o’ Woods National Forest on Fire Isl along with the inbred dwarf deer (no hybrid vigor there!) lol
Yesssssss I've been waiting for this
I owned hybrid turtle. 25%Mauremys revesii 25% Mauremys sinensis (mother- reevesXGTT) and 50% Cuora ambionensis ambionensis (Father Pure asin box turtle) also breed accidentally
This tortoise a lot
Really like the Wood Turtle. Living in Utah, probably will never have one.
Hey Tom!
Great video my friend!
Fertile hybrids are incredibly common. In some cases infertility is caused because of chromosomes not matching. Any closely related bird mammals or fish can produce fertile hybrids And often do As long as they have the same number of chromosomes. For example, horses and donkeys have a different number of chromosomes, But 2 snakes or turtles in the same genus will always have the same amount. They line up perfectly so you get fertile offspring.
Yeah, his argument "debunking" taxonomy was so stupid. It isn't a matter of opinion, it's essentially fact. The only debate usually lies in how related they are to one another. The definition he brought up for species of two individuals that can produce fertile offspring is often questioned exactly because of your point. A species is generally a population of genetically similar organisms that reliably produces fertile offspring similar, and his argument makes it sound like he just doesn't think species are real. From his argument we might as well just say the japonica and the chinese box turtle are the same species when they are clearly two distinct species. Genetics work vastly differently for different clades of organisms, and I really disliked his thing saying taxonomy was a matter of opinion from his easily debunked anecdotal evidence
❤
🤠
Nice video
Hi tom
Can we see offspring of the red dragon
would love to
