- Hey guys, on this installment of Parker's Swamp, I bring you through the process of how I tried to copy Tanner Serpa's design for a paludarium. It turned out different than I planned but I actually like it way better for my baby Blanding's turtles.

After applying the silicone, spray with water (windew is best, but idk how long the chemicals last on the glass. After spraying, wipe away with your finger. The silicone wont adhere to wet surfaces, making it much easier to wipe away the excess! Great build!

Interesting and informative. I am considering starting a turtle 🐢 tank. I like the small turtles. I would also add guppies to this tank. I’m just not sure yet because I’m learning the basics. I was going to do African dwarf frogs but after a bit of research I changed my mind. Thanks

I rescued a blandings turtle once. It was stuck under a dam and was looking to lay her eggs but was very lethargic and couldn't make it up the huge boulders. I think it may have been someone's pet (illegal where I live) because I gave her some of my bait (nightcrawlers) and she ate them with me a half foot from her. I moved her down river to a nice bay off the river at a family friends house and was told she kept coming back to the same dock for the carp food.
That tank is as legendary as your mustache, sir. 👨

is this only for baby turtles ? I have a full grown turtle and need to upgrade her tank and just overall make her home a beautiful place of living. any thoughts ?

Question: do you have to occasionally manually clean the tank? Also, how often to you replace water that evaporates?
Yeah I change the water about 10% every couple of weeks

this is a great setup !!! but i wouldnt recommend cleaning tanks with clorox. any chemicals or soap can kill off the good bacteria and ruin a good tank. white vinegar and water is the best way to clean aquatic tanks. i hope your turtles are doing well:)
