I owned one of those old Carolla’s, reliable as the day is long . I took it from 100 to 190k in 4 years and it only wanted for consumables. It went to Africa and I bet it will be running for another 20 years.
Love the videos Lee, take no notice of the critics, the lower end of the market is allways more interesting, love the auction vids, I deal in anything up to 4k myself and I'm with you all the way, can usually get out of even the worst car at that budget without too much hurt, keep doing what your doing mate and we'll keep watching
These videos are just so much fun and inspiring. If you are in the market and not rolling in cash and have the means to put any basics right why risk a private buy or an unknown dealer? Well that's my logic/excuse for buying my next pigsty on wheels from an auction!

One of the reasons I enjoy your videos is precisely BECAUSE you buy and sell lower price cars. There are dozens of on line sights with people doing high price stuff. I also have learned a lot watching your stuff.

In Scotland most decent auctions have stopped the general public for registering, I spent 20 years in the trade but as a non dealer cannot get myself a wee car or two to flip.
Reminds me of when I was a trader! Those mk 6 Fiestas fly out of the door. The only issue with auctions is the fees and obviously the fact you have no idea what the car is really like until you drive it, but that's the gamble. Great video!

Everything seems to be going very cheap at the moment but sales are very low too, either way I’d say it’s a good thing as the market seems to be getting back to it’s senses..

Just bought a 2019 LWB Transit on Saturday with 40k on it 22k need another van and 7.5 ton tipper before this Khan ULEZ comes in he’s costing us an arm and a leg to keep the wheels turning , if you get something let me know cheers enjoying the content 👍
Think it’s up and down, bargains can be had but again, some still go for silly money. The auction buyers fees are what takes the mick, they eat into your profits if you are not careful. I think auction prices still need to come down some more.
i like the fact it gives a valuation from averages of others on sale, your would normally have to pay for a cap or glass valuation for that sort of info

Bout time someone on here showed a reasonably priced vehicle check, all these you tubers touting that car vertical is a rip off £30 per check! 90 percent of it is open source information all on the internet, and i can assure they arent ploughing £30 a check out, some cheap cars went through there bro looked a good day, stay safe

I bought a 10 year old Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDI ( vw golf engine) at auction with 88,000 miles for 1200 pounds in 2016. Roll on 7 years and it's still running fine. Probably spent same amount on normal maintenance. So that's very cheap motoring for 7 years. Not interested in going to a retail garage and paying thousands of pounds for a similar vehicle
Loving these auction videos, always so interesting, not a Peugeot fan but the blue one you won looks to be a right bargain. I paused the video and did a vehicle score on my old Panda and it was bang on, only negatives over ten years old and over 100k but it's a 2011, other than that I got 591 which is more than fair, thanks for the heads up 👍🏻

The 56 plate 207 you bought Lee I've now got the adsatly the same car colour and year other than mine has 64,000 miles, I sold the wife's mini at Xmas and happen to tell my 83 years old Dad I was looking for a DS3 or Clio . Old man said save your money I'm giving up driving. Hopefully shouldn't have too many problems clutch was replaced recently and headgasket last year. Dad had the car from 2 years old . The G-wagon with the area your at wouldn't be surprised if that had been a premier League footballers when brand new the foreigners seem to sometimes stick with Left hooker's. Good video as usual.
not really, just handy if its estate or 4x4 as its more likely to be used for towing, some people dislike a tow bar as it shows its been used for towing and may have been abused. each to there own 🤷♂️
Lee when you win the car how do you tell them your number so they know who won it? Back in the day at Stoodley auctions Belle Vue M/cr, we used to walk to the rostrum and give the lady our details. To show we had registered to bid.

Not a fan of modified cars, i don't like those wheels on the fiesta S ..I had a W202 c class, not a fan of the front of those next gen c classes, like the red 207. My Sport KA replacement is a 2008 "08" Mazda 6 2.0D SL estate paid £1395 for it , cetral locking dosen't work off both fobs , but no that bothered, it needs a big major service but it's mot'd till january and clean and only done 87k...well chuffed with it. I love bangernomics..i have never paid more than two grand for a car.

Youre right about private entries there always in there for a reason direct main agents cars are best but you usually pay a premium for them

If your winning bid is provisional and the vendor accepts it do you have to buy the car? Oh, and that Land Rover commercial was way cheap.
yea you have to stand on your bid, unless the vendor asks for more money or counter bid in which case you can say no and walk away from your bid

Not a fan of modified cars, i don't like those wheels on the fiesta S ..I had a W202 c class, not a fan of the front of those next gen c classes, like the red 207. My Sport KA replacement is a 2008 "08" Mazda 6 2.0D SL estate paid £1395 for it , cetral locking dosen't work off both fobs , but no that bothered, it needs a big major service but it's mot'd till january and clean and only done 87k...well chuffed with it. I love bangernomics..i have never paid more than two grand for a car.

to register as a trade seller you will need a motor trade insurance policy as proof of trade, that seems to be the standard these days to get trade rates
