I once had some ?wrens? build a nest near my house and lay eggs in it. When they hatched, if you just walked by it, apparently causing change in light, they all popped up with mouths wide open.

Pretty incredible they go from hatchlings to flying away in about 14 days old.
The whole nest was eaten by snake. RIP.

The earliest I've ever watched. It's beautiful as I've never actually seen a chick hatch before. Sometimes, looking at the care taken by the mothers, it can teach humans some very important lessons.

The little girl was fortunate to see the birds hatch. I've seen birds just after being hatched, and even had a hawk nest (luckily empty) blow onto my patio in severe winds, but never got to watch a hatching live.
I have never seen Robins nest on a ledge like that. And especially not under a covering. Beautiful.

Cute robins
This was such a great video to show. What little time occurs before they fly the nest. I had the honor to watch five Robin babies hatch and leave the nest on my own front porch and now the mama is back within weeks and laid another four so I get to go through it again it’s really amazing to watch.

Awww this is so cute. One time we had a nest of baby robins in our bush and they were so cute. Except a few days after I noticed them a cat got to them. 😔 There are a lot of neighborhood cats and since the birds were starting to chirp more I guess the cat heard. The mother was also found dead. It breaks my heart but it’s nature and nothing we can control. 😥❤️❤️❤️

I was loving having a Robin's nest in the hydrangea tree outside my window...one day they were babies and the next they were gone. I thought something bad happened to them ...I had no idea they matured so quickly .
