Now I regret selling my Crewcab. 🤦♂️ nice work Travis.
Thank you. Find yourself a replacement
By far one of the best looks for the cat eyes! Tastefully done!!!
Thank you
Looks great! 🔥🔥🔥
The Texas Editions are classic and always look good in my opinion. The stance is spot on.
Thank you Keith. I love the new look
What’s up brother? Let me just start by saying, your videos are absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing your process with every vehicle you own and being so informative with all of your videos. Please keep doing your thing, and I hope your channel grows so big, it has so much potential! Thank you!
Thank you very much for those comments. I love to hear when people like what's going on here.
Love the gray wheels goes well with the gray color of the truck. Stance is spot on!
Thank you. Thats what I thought
Good Monday evening Travis. When I get home from work and settled in my wife and I will be tunning in to your video 👍
Thank you Keith. Have a great evening
Man that daily driver crew cab looks like a totally different truck than when you bought it.. holy cow what a difference good job Travis.. 😎
Thank you Keith. Getting there
Damn man makes me want to wrap my black crew cab this color. Looks awesome 👏
Thank you. I do like this color
Im a big fan of this set up so clean and simple.
Thank you. Thats what I was going for
I'm ready to buy a cateye now that my obs is done. Nice truck
Thank you. Good luck on your search
Let's see that obs brother....
I had an 06 extended cab in Blue Granite with those wheels! I wrecked it and have regretted it since!
I saw the wheels in the last video but didn't want to spoil anything!
You can't even tell that truck has over 200k! Looks killer man!
Thank you. Yeah I am surprised someone didn't say something when I had them in the background.
Four door on texas edition looks really good
Thank you
this was the route I was gonna go with on my cc but ended up lifting it 3 inches on 20x12's, hopefully in the future it will look like this!
Yeah I am not much for lifting but I bet it looks good that way also.
Looks great, I wasn't digging the black on the center caps. Once you showed them installed it actually complents the truck very well. Loving the new look!
Thank you. Yeah I don't hate them as much now.
Looks bad ass. Great content as always. Keep up the good work.
Thank you
Man this thing came out sick man. 🔥🔥 My fav vehicle in your collection 💪🏾
Thank you
look awesome Travis you make a good job.
Thank you. I appreciate that
The truck looks good! Switching out the black center will look better.👍🏽
Thank you. May end up doing that
Looks great Travis. Love the Texas edition wheels and the 22 looks perfect on there.
I picked up a 4in and 6in c clamp from tractor supply this weekend for $10 to compress the piston. Works great.
Thank you Justin. They do work nice
Lol
Love your channel. That Chevy lean is because the gastank is on the driver side so it drops 1 inch. Most people they drop the passenger side 1 more extra inch. 4-8 and driver side 4-7 to even out the weight. Looks super nice.
Thank you. The lean is something that chevy guys deal with regularly.
Had to trim the passenger side coil on my c10 for that perfect stance!
Yeah. Pretty common
this reminds me alot of the 2009 era alot people had this same setup an wheels i like it you should come out to houston tx an see the truck seen
I know the truck scene is huge down there. I am always looking at stuff there.
@@TWAMotorsports the only bad thing about these trucks is no space for a speaker box best place is custom center console but you will lose the the oem look
I agree. Wish the back seat was like the newer ones
Beautiful truck! I have the 07 classic with 24” LTZ’s. It’s actually getting a 4/6 drop tomorrow. It has 2” shackles currently but will be a new truck Friday! Again absolutely love your truck.
Thank you. Sounds like you have an awesome truck. I bet it will look great.
Yo what’s up. Maaaaaaan that crew cab is looking good. Very tastefully done sir 💯. Perfect daily 🤙
Thank you Mike. I love the new look.
Great wheel choice.
Buy some oem 20” wheel centers off of eBay. They fit those wheels and look factory.
Love this truck.
I may do that. Thank you
Man that's a good looking truck
Thank you
Truck looks amazing! Love the look.
Thank you Kyle
Good job sir. Your best looking truck yet!
Thank you very much
Truck came out amazing!
Thank you
The truck looks great man
Thank you
Men the truck has came a long way. It looks very nice. You can go online and order some center caps with the chevy emblem on them.
Thank you. I may end up doing that
My 99 S10 also had the chevy lean on the passenger side. With a 4 banger in it you could still tell the difference. I cut my sway bar link and it helps a lil bit.
Your truck looks super clean. The only thing I would add is a bed cover. Leave the center caps black to match the black bumper parts.
Thank you. As for bed cover. Maybe that is coming
Texas editions are a must on these cat eye front ends
I do like the look on these trucks.
Perfect drop & wheel combination 👍🏽
Thank you
A C-Clamp works great to compress the break caliper pistons :)
That's generally what I use.
Get with a sign show that can make a decal or wrap with TWA Logo on it. It would look cool. Maybe the letters in carbon fiber. With a silver back ground. Think about it.
I need to probably wrap something
Always wanted to convert a 4 door cateye to a 99-02 HD front end. Looks nice man 🔥
I have seen that and it looks great. Tried to buy one before I bought this one.
@@TWAMotorsports build a 99-02 single/extended cab next 💯
I have a 2002 gmc already
@@TWAMotorsports 99-02 silverado
Just sold one
My favorite color! Looks good man!
Thanks Dave
Damn man I love all your trucks
Thank you. I love a few. Lol
Great looking great. I've got same drip on my 06 ex cab with 24in Tahoe reps
Travis, I am waiting for you to do the fog light install. I started to buy my items and have an idea how I am going to do mine but I want to bounce it off of how you do yours. I have seen videos that people use the factory relay by installing a wire in the relay location but I have heard by some that you need to flash the computer??? Not sure. I really wan to make it as factory as possible but do not want to have to re-flash the computer for fog lights.
I would like to eventually do that. Shouldn't need any programming though
Needs a spray in bed liner lol. Badass truck
I may cover the ugly bed soon
Man this is too clean !
Thank you
Looks real slick low is the way to go forsure
Thank you
Great choice of wheels looks good
Thank you. I love the new look
Have you ever cut the front bump stops off?? My nbs is on spindles and 2” drop springs and the front lower control arms are touching the bump stops I’m just worried about tie rod angles if I cut the bump stops out
In 4wd trucks I have but not 2wd ones
Man u did a wonderful job on that daily driver a1 I have a 2004 Yukon xl I wonder if those rim would fit
Thank you. They sure will
Did u have a problem with the upper control arms. Just curious seen you put the offsets on ur green truck? Thanks
No issues
Two words.....
Nailed It!😎
Thank you. I'm loving the new look.
Looks super sick
Thank you
Looks awesome! I was thinking of doing a 2 inch drop in the back of my 05 and putting some 275/45r22s on, then maybe one day when I have the money doing a 3/5 with 265/40r22. would that work?
Thank you. Yes those tire sizes should work great.
It came out sweet man!!
Thank you
Ooooo. New tires are always nice 👌
Thank you. I agree
It came together awesome 🔥🔥
Thank you
Hey Travis, awesome channel, very informative and helpful. I need a little advice, if you don't mind, when you get a minute. I have a 2005 Silverado, 6 inch rough country lift on 35x12.5x20 Fuel Rims on Toyo Open Country MT's with 225,000 miles. Just dropped a new HP motor in and its time for new upper and lower control arms and tie rods. I've just recently heard about the Kryptonite Control arms and tie rods and my question for you is can you recommend a beefier upgrade for these suspension parts over stock? I want something stronger than stock that will last years without worry. Is Kryptonite as good as I've heard or is there another company that I could look into. This truck is also my daily driver and I'm just trying to go with upgraded parts that will last. Thanks for the time, love the truck and the the channel. Appreciate all the knowledge and how you break it all down.
Thank you. I honestly have heard of Kryptonite but never have used it. All my stuff gets lowered so no experience with that game.
Good afternoon.. I have a 2012 silverado and yesterday I changed the ball joints and it started giving me abs code and stability control code. Would you know what it might be? Thank you in advance for any advice
Bad abs plug or speed sensor. Could be unplugged
Great content as usual 😊
Thank you
I’ve enjoyed watching these videos, they have been helpful. I have an 04 crew cab Sierra for my project truck and had a question for ya about your flip kit. It looks like you kept your factory rear shackle hangers. Does this give it a larger drop? I bought a belltech flip kit and it came with new hangers which oriented everything completely different. Thanks for the videos I’ll be using them as a guide as I begin mine this winter.
Thank you. Standard flip generally gives a 6 inch drop. If using stock rear shackles and hanger. If you add 2 inch drop shackle you can go to 8 inches of drop. Some manufacturers relocate the rear hanger for the ability to have a 4/5/6 inch drop.
@@TWAMotorsports cool, sounds good thank you for the information 👍
You're welcome
how do you like the bell tech shocks? i used new stock shocks and they wore out incredibly fast, and the whole rear end bounces up and down.
I really like them
Love it..awesome job
Thank you
Looking nice man great video
Thank you Daniel
One day should throw on some 17s just to see it real low lol, but looks great
Not really my style
I kept going back and forth on tire size when I went to a 22 from a factory 18. Can you comfortably tow with that tire profile?
I have in the past.
I’d just get you some color match spray and mask them off and spray the centers. Truck looks great tho bud!
Thank you. These are growing on me
Looks so good how much did you waist on parts for the drop ?
Thank you. Well over $1000
How much of a drop is the rear? I'm looking for a 4 inch drop, I have a crew cab also, would I be good with JUST a flip kit? Or can I raise it with the shackles (linked in description) to get the desired drop. Cause i can't go that low.
This is 6 inches. Flip does 6. You would need shackles and hangers for 4 inches
@@TWAMotorsports I'm having a hard time finding them for a crew cab where you don't need to remove the front leaf bolts or gas tank
You have to do that if you want a 4" drop
Hey TWA what type of drill slotted rotors do u think are good for a 09 Silverado I’m trying to get some but idk if they will fit on my 22s replicas will make a difference??
I use powerstop like link in description
Looks awesome man
Thank you
Looks awesome! Do you really need to get the upper and lower control arms when using this kit?
No. The uppers an lowers are optional. He done new arms for the ease go gettin new balljoints an bushings but their not necessary if yours are in good shape to start with
No. I replaced mine because of the mileage on the truck
Correct
Did you have to trim the shield on the 03-06 White Tahoe
What shield?
Brake shield
@@terrybigchopzguest oh sorry. Yes I did
Looks awesome bud. 👌🏻
Thank you
what size wheels are they so I can change mine to fit like yours
Link in video description
Love it man!!!
Thank you
Hi my name is John, I have a 2003 Silverado LS 1500 Exteneeded Cab. How much more or less will it cost to lower my truck with your parts.that you used.
All parts are listed in video description
Should put some spacers/ washers between the front bumper mount and bumper to get rid of the front bumper gap
It is obsessive
Nice video guy
Thank you
Looks great!
Thank you
Chevy lean is the cab mount bushings, over time the gas tank weighs down the cab causing the bushings on driver side to get softer
Interesting. I have never heard that.
I have had this on brand new ones too however
Nice video like always. I wish there was a lot more information on the Chevy lean and what exactly causes it. I got the same truck as yours. I went with ride tech full kit coil overs front and back hoping that that would fix the lean but it didn’t. I had to get a different coil weight rating on the rear of the driver side. By the way ride tech
Rides like crap. Worst $ 6k ever spent.
Sorry to hear it rides bad. Several speculations about gas tank but who knows.
Clean truck 👌🏽
Thank you
Where did you get your c notch done ? Is it here in texas ?
Recklez suspension
Will 305 40 22 fit on a 2003 gmc Extended cab and what size Tires did you go with
Not if its lowered. Link to tires in video description
Looks great!!! ✌
Thank you
Where and for how much did you get front headlights?
Missouri. I don't sell them
no drive shaft modification needed ?
No sir. Helper bags required
Where did you get the slotted rotors?
Link in video description
Let me know when you want to sell this 😂 looks killer
Thank you. It can be for sale at anytime honestly. Lol
Nice work bro 👍 👏 💪
Thank you
Looks great
Thank you
Hi my name is John, I will like to know the size of rim’s and tires.
I had a 2007 just the same I miss it. I have a 2003 Silverado ls 1500 I’m going to drop it.
Thank you!
All parts used are listed in video description
It looks good
Thank you
Looks good should get some rollers . Even if it's just you driving by the camera
I do need some roller shots
Looking Good 👍🏻 👍🏻
Thank you
things clean
Thank you
Much better..I like low
Thank you. Me too
Nice 👍🏼
Thank you
Great choice on the wheels!! I feel like 20" and 22" Texas Editions give Chevy trucks a very classy OEM+ look. Stance is on point. Looks like a very comfortable cruiser
Thank you. Yeah these wheels are affordable and look clean to me.
Would have 265/40/22 work on that drop ?
Be close
Nice looking truck by the way !
Thank you
Wheels are a little big for this guy but don't look to bad. I think 20s or even 18 would look good.
Thank you. Yeah I know its not everyone's taste
Do u have a two piece?
No. 1
