I love the added sitar, bells, and choir in the remake, it more clearly gives the impression this isn’t just an underground town, it’s an ancient, ruinous town with a history far beyond our comprehension! I think the best way to compare OG and REMAKE is kinda like this: OG - Dead ruins, more focused on the underground theming. Which is good! It works just as well and fills the tradition of synthy underground areas well. REMAKE - Living ruins, as if the place is echoing memories of its past as you venture downwards. The intro storybook’s motif can even be heard on the lower levels! Also the percussion is just more varied here.
WE TRAVEL BETWEEN THE OTHER PLACES WITH THIS ONE, but we mainly hear Sublevel 2 most of the time, BUT I LOVE SUBLEVEL 3 SO MUCH, CUZ THE VOCALIZATIONS ARE SUCH A CUTE EDITION THAT I LOVE THAT VARIATION MORE THAN ALL OF ROGUEPORT SEWERS!!!! THE VIOLIN'S COMPLIMENT THE VOCALIZATIONS SO MUCH THAT A. I MIGHT JUST CRY B. I WILL JUST CRY C. I AM JUST CRYING D. ALL OF THE ABOVE
Holy crap I've been waiting for someone to medley the progressive tracks. May I make a request? I'd LOVE to see the boss fights with the ending jingles. I don't need the thinking themes, just the boss music with the victory jingles. Shorter loops for the world themes would also be nice. I don't think each iteration needs two full loops, but that's just me. Still, thanks so much for uploading these!
No problem! I was thinking of taking a break after I'm finished with the medleys, but I am considering on doing some of the requests people have asked for. Do you have any specific tracks you want me to do?
@@XDnaughtz Really just whatever comes to mind during a playlist. If you want views, just go down the list of the soundtrack as is, chapter by chapter. I definitely wanted to see the Magnus fight and Shwonk fortress, but really I'm here as long as you've got the patience to keep posting the mixes.
All variation of the Magnus/Lord Crump fights have been uploaded on my channel, but I could do a simple variant with only the action phase + the ending jingle after I'm done.
I'm pretty sure it played at the very end of the game. Maybe when you encounter the final boss and leave to the sewers. Maybe it plays in the post-game too. Not 100% sure
Then use the gamecube sound badge. Im so sick of people complaining about the remakes (better) music, when they have to option to switch to the original.
@@1238Bit You know it's kinda a weird complaint in the first place, both are great themes it's not like they downgraded the original, in fact, i would argue that this one feels better because it fits the overall area more, along with working in the TTYD entrance themes. Just nostalga probably.
