I pissed myself when it started up, it’s one of the hypest normal battle themes I’ve ever heard. Hell it was good enough to actually make me want to battle.
My literal only problem is that it’s only around for like two hours of play

The battle theme for a single area is better than the boss themes of other games. The Paper Mario series will always be the goat when it comes to music.
Also the mario and luigi series. They have the best final boss themes. And a lot of great battle themes but not as good as this god tier song.
Mario & Luigi serie as far superior music, but this is the only Paper Mario game I must admit the music is super great!

@@chickensandwich2193 MMMMMMM, don't know about that one Chief. Yoko doesn't fuck around with her music. Final fold is definatly a good listen, but It's not nearly as memorable as In The Final or Adventures End. M&L Final boss themes are definatly close or above Final Fold.

@@slug5237 I'm not super into asian instruments, but it sounds like it could be a xylophone or a variant of it (some sort of melodic percussion instrument).
Also, regarding the mix of different styles in the song: don't forget that there's metal elements in it as well.

That's how I felt - it made me wish I'd fully explored Autumn Mountain and Shogun Studios before moving onto the next streamer

If you press the action button rapidly you'll get an excellent and give a debuff to the channel called: Unrecommendation. For the next turns the youtuber will lose the ability get to your recommendations. This attack will affect all channels in the battlefield, as long as you hit excellents. hope that helped

See battles aren't pointless you get to listen to epic music and coins and confetti is useful mainly the coins

Wow, this music it's already stunning, but your 'normal + lineup' combo it's very good, and with great sound quality.
This game's soundtrack is incredibly underrated and deserves infinitely more attention than it's getting, change my mind.
Seriously, how the actual hell does the most viewed song in the entire OST have only 750K views after almost 3 whole years?? It deserves at _least_ 10 times that amount!
Don’t think a lot of people actually played this game unfortunately, it’s definitely not my favorite Paper Mario but it’s my favorite of the series music-wise. The gameplay was pretty interesting and fun, I’m a sucker for puzzle games so if only they added some standard RPG things like a level up and exp system at the very least…it would have been above Paper Mario 64 imo.
I'm surprised as well. When this game launched, there was a bunch of videos / spread of the soundtrack online, but after a while... I felt bad that I forgot this amazing OST as well. I don't know, a part of me thinks the genius of this soundtrack is how dynamic it is within the game (which is what a game OST should be doing), but it made it really difficult to find mixes (like this video) encapsulating the variations of each song.
But I think the more realistic answer is that it wasn't... memorable (hear me out)? Like I think the locations and moments were pretty good, but fighting a stapler? Or rubber bands? When we know this series had Mr. L and Shadow Queen and unique partner (and villain) characters that are STILL talked about to this day?
Even though I think this is the best Paper Mario OST to date, it's clear that people attach music to those distinct characters and ultimately want to revisit those memories (hence listening to the OST on TH-cam). At least with a majority of this game's cast, there isn't much to "return" to. But perhaps this is just the old fan in me complaining, I'm sure some other people have a completely different perspective, such as "wow, I didn't imagine Mario fighting a stapler would ever happen". I don't know why I wrote so much, but yeah

When I returned to this place to get the other collectibles I had missed the first time around, both this theme and Autumn Mountain's main theme hit me like a bus because Bobby wasn't with me. Then when I continued to Shogun Studios, I got a picture. Let's just say that for anyone out there who hasn't gotten their photo taken in Shogun Studios after defeating the Yellow Streamer, do it. The little easter egg is so heartwarming.

This is easily one of the best battle themes I have ever heard, in any video game. It fits the atmosphere perfectly and gets you all pumped up. A masterpiece!

The game is as good as the music. It is my favorite Paper Mario so far, with Super Paper Mario being my second favorite.
My favorite paper mario was ttyd but this game just knocked it out the park to the point I don't see any way they could make a paper mario better. Problems are bowser. I would've loved him to be unfolded, but he's folded for most of the game; idk if he is at the end cause I didn't finish it.
