Awesome accomplishment! Triple Crown is an obvious next possibility...but maybe consider someday hostelling around Europe. All the fun without the physical misery! You will meet the most incredible people from all over the world! Then take the train to the next town and meet some more. And you can day hike or section hike the Alps, Dolomites...or whatever. I saw your joy being in LA...it can be like that travelling abroad...mindblowing!
@@hammwise_gamgee It's not as hard as it seems. If you can hike the PCT, you can certainly do overseas budget travel. Keep Japan in mind! It's not the PCT, but you can walk the countryside or climb the three sacred peaks of Japan. If I can help, let me know.

I’m 62, my husband supports me, but doesn’t understand me😔 I’m new to finding life outside 4 walls, being your home, your job. I wish you luck, if you can, go explore our beautiful world❤️ I wish I discovered adventure before 50, so not as easy, but still getting out when I can. I’ll be back in March/ April to do Section B. Massive congrats on reaching the monument. We'd say 'finishing the trail' but it seems you are not done yet. Really impressed that you are going back to mop up the skipped bits - so many hikers talk about doing that when a closure happens but hardly anyone ever goes through with it. Be interesting (and probably a bit sad) to see what the fires have done to those sections. So enjoy your few days 'off camera' - we'll be eagerly waiting for the new vids. Oh, and if you need a brake from the GoPro - well you can always 'accidentally' throw it in the trash again. Seemed to work in Bend ... 😜
