I remember that trail! Jim Kahl was our guide. When we returned to Winthrop and got out of the car at 3 Finger Jack's I had developed crippling plantar facsiitis. Oh the good ol' days!

Plantar fasciitis is miserable. I've had it twice in my life. I actually wear custom orthotics to prevent it now. I also have Morton's neuroma in my left foot, which is extremely painful also. The orthotics help with this too, but I made a poor decision to take them out of my shoes in Mazama. Long story short, my neuroma flared up about 5 mi up cutthroat Pass and is still inflamed today. ☹️. Sometimes I wonder what I was thinking when I make dumb decisions like this. Lol.
