So what do youse guys think about your single wall tents? Hated mine. Course I'm not an ounce counter.

Never cold camp food wise, no hot coffee in the morning, no hike! Cold Mountain House? Nope. Raman? Nope.

That bizarre looking mountain thing at 2:40, what was that?

The TNN (trail news network) is not totally reliable. First hand accounts, eh, ok.... but never tell another hiker about the snake you saw a little while ago. Never.

Beer doesn't hydrate, unless you convince yourself it does. I convince daily.

I guaranteed this trail, and it's doesn't matter what section, would be so cool if the travelers on shrooms.

Crap happens.

A Madness of Marmots would be a great Tramily name/moniker. Dude, I watched Chap's whole hike. Commented that I'd watch your take on the hike after his, so here I am two weeks into watching your view....safety meeting! Chap is a nice guy, fun...you and Fireball are crazy fun! I'm skipping around, but I'll watch it all. Thanx dude. Crackerjack.

Chap sings, annoying, but at least he doesn't have a bear bell.

If anybody has an airpad that hasn't sprung a leak at 500 miles.....lucky you.

Brother I have watched every single episode of your journey. I've watched multiple thru-hikers: Dixie, Darwin, Second Chance, Elina. But your journey showed us sooo many other things that I've just never seen before. Different town stops, bars, restaurants, views. And I do not think there is a more honest, real, no BS vlog story of this trail out there. Simply amazing. I hate that I fell so far behind and I've now missed your Monument Day by over a month, but I'm stoked for you. Congrats. Looking forward to more. Thanks : )

Congratulations unreal journey and has been fun watching you through. It was kind of funny I found your channel trying to come up with ideas for a backpack elk hunt I was doing off the pct just past white pass in Washington this September. One night at work on you tube sent me down a rabbit hole and I ended up watching your whole journey.. congratulations on your accomplishment and thanks for the hours of entertainment

How did the hike go?

2000+ miles makes lifelong friends! : ) Sad to see the parting, but you gotta HYOH. I have watched every single day, every post. I'm a month behind and sad I haven't got to see the end in real time, as it were. But I am going to follow this to the end : )

i am still so far behind. I've been traveling a lot and just couldn't keep up. Tried to Hook You the EFF Up several times, but it kept asking for the last 4 of your phone number to confirm. I've seen that you finished (sort of lol) but have not skipped ahead yet. I want to watch in sequence. I'm a fan, brother.

Gear videos are my favorite. I have not tried light AF, but took some notes and a few things I need.

Congratulations, you are my hero. Thank you once again for doing the vlog so I can get a feel for what it takes to do something like this. All the best!

Congrats, Jake! It looked like a great adventure! Man, if you’re an RN, why not become a traveling nurse and go see the country. Hell, if you want to go get a sweet van and travel in the that as you work….then hike in between gigs! You got the hard part over (having the degree)…go make that job fun ! 😊.
