That first one reminds me of a type of elbow that Brandon Vera (in UFC for while and then one fc heavyweight champ) used to use in training. I would see him at Alliance hitting pads with those elbows. I don’t think I’ve seen him use it in an actual fight. But I seen it I started throwing them cuz I can see them being effective in close range right between their guard. Similar to using an uppercut but if you have no gloves why buy throw that an protect your hands, right??? Ha
