There’s part of that wished Cressida and Penelope would’ve became friends after being mad with Eloise. Idk if this was the writers idea to rush everything was because they weren’t sure if season 4 was going to happen, but whoever the case I didn’t care Eloise this season.

There home lives are nearly not that different now that we see how their persons are ignored by their family and thrust into societal bridal market. Cressida didn’t even give Eloise the time of day til the Queen gave her favor.
Cressida was happy to take credit as LW without knowing Eloise knew the truth. She essentially said she wrote those awful things about her (and those are the reasons that Eloise was so hurt by Penelope). Cressida may have told Eloise about her awful prospects (not actually uncommon at that day and age) but she could have said she was owning up to being LW for the money, Eloise wouldn't dob her in. Eloise isn't a perfect friend but the LW actions at the end of S2 really would have screwed Eloise so no wonder she was friends with the only person who would talk to her (Cressida).
Very disappointed how Eloise abandoned Cressida when she didn’t need her any more. The first time I really didn’t like Eloise even thou she’s my fav character.
