Companies need to take notice and start making small affordable cars again. People everywhere in the world are struggling and alot of people need these cars. Make it usable, nothing fancy and they will sell a boat load! Love Mitsubishi brand for the affordability

And They are going to Discontinued the Mirage.
I had a 2015...one of the best cars I ever owned!
Great little car !
We need more mitsubishi mirage videos
A week ago i head on in to good ole Ajax Mitsubishi in Ontario to see if i could order a 2024 Mirage. Fast forward to now i have a 2023 RVR ES AWC in the sexy Titanium Grey, what a steal i got all the optional add ons like rustproofing, mud guards, window sill deflectors and tinted windows and those silver foot plates in the doors for free because somebody ordered it with all that then didn’t get approved and couldn’t buy it. What a Vulture i am 😂 amazing car and im sure the Mirage would’ve been too
Reliable and efficient cars 👍
I love the Mirage but would be cool if you do a video of the Eclipse in the back too 👀
i have the 2021 version SE but something i notice is that in turkey they named as space star
Great car
Agreed
The mirage with 40+ MPG, Have Mitsubishi ever consider building a Hybrid model. Imagine the fuel economy WOW :) also with the camera on the hatch. why don't they put the camera in with the Mitsubishi logo below the hatch open latch and have the logo indented so it won't stick out to much, just an idea..
Why do they have that hump for the camera?
In Germany there's no hump in the Space Star version
we bought one of these a week ago and its great to town around in. We laugh because it screams the heck and its trying to speed up (CVT)
There is a way to get better take off performance from a Mirage;Ive owned mine for over 6 months, bought new like you! from a standing start, just drive off easy and watch both your speedometer and tach, once you've hit 20 mph, just ease off of it until you sense the transmission shifts into the next gear, now you can accelerate alittle better (maybe much better if you practise this!) and be accelerating faster once you've teased the car into downshifting by lifting after you've hit that 20 mph mark. Try it and see!
Love the Mirage. It has so much character to it and it’s literally the only cheap car left (apart from the Versa).
unfortunately it is being discontinued, no more Mirage.
@@braetonwilson4296 Really? I only saw news of it might getting discontinued in Europe because of the new Colt and Japan because low sales, but North America is due for a redesign in about 2025.
really according to kirk kreifels
@@braetonwilson4296 Which video? I wanna see!
@@braetonwilson4296 Never mind, I just found it. Bro, that’s so sad!!😭😭
I just purchased a 2021. It vibrates through the front seat when idling at a light and I can feel the vibration through my legs, but I don't mind. What bothers me is the soft cargo space: just a flimsy fabric over foam covering the spare tire? I am thinking of removing the back bottom seats. Keep the back seat, with the head rests, intact, so that they will lay flat. And put wood, maybe 1/4" ply, over the whole area. I'd make the wood in two parts with a hinge, so I can easily fold back the area nearest the back window if I needed to get to the spare. Any thoughts on this? The little cargo space, as is, is teeny weeny! I can only fit three grocery bags there. Maybe I just need to get used to it. I'd been driving a jeep Cherokee for 22 years!
Thanks for you real life feedback!
Mine is ES here in U.S. Wine red. 😊
Good color choice!
Mine too. A blood purpley red. Not my choice of color. But a good price. I just got her today and named her Ruby. 🤣
Gotta be a Manual transmission base model under $11,000. I would never pay MSRP. Unless heavy discounts, makes little sense.
I love this car and just bought this here in Indiana. Although, we just had our first child and fitting a car seat in the back is almost impossible.
Very true! That led me to get the G4 which is the sedan variant
Thank you so much for saying this! I’ve been trying to research this very topic. Good to know it’s a pain in the butt. I may have to look elsewhere in that case.
@@edgaryzen4925how’s the G4 variant as far as car seats go? Specifically the big reverse facing infant seats? Any experience there?
@@Mango10449 it do-able to be frank…especially if the driver is at average height or less.
Tell you what. I’m 6’3” ft tall 280 lbs (above average frame obviously) and rear facing car seat can works back there but I would be sacrificing leg rooms a lil bit (though in my case it would just be temporary as child grow up fast. Rear facing car seat it not meant for long term usage unless acquiring another child.
The rear facing child car seat for example has no problem accommodating me in my ex-06’ Prius as it was a tad bit bigger dimension wise. Though it is incomparable to any SUB-compact sedan like this G4 which to me fit like the 05’ Corolla.
2 car seats for example work well in the G4 with little to no room in the middle.
2 adults in the back work great as well.
I honestly think you should at least try it and see how it goes. My experience won’t apply to anyone
@@Mango10449 car seat in the hatchback mirage? It can work but the G4 would be a tad bit better. 3 inches extra goes a long way.
The g4 is more livable to commute as a family hauler unlike the hatchback variant
Et toujours le Toit ouvrant Panoramic option
Merci beaucoup d'avance??!!!
Can you make a video on Infrared color preferably 2024 Mirage Noir?
It's coming :)
Better get it now while it lasts 2024 will be the last year of the Mirage hatchabck.
I hope not!
2025*
The prix remedy?
Why that Mirage was like an old car?
Answer Answer.
Too bad it’s being discontinued.
That's news to me. 2024's are on their way !
@@mr.mitsubishi yeah there’s articles all over saying they’ll be gone by 2025 :/
@@charkswitlazers I read that. The car companies don't make as much profit on the little puddle jumpers unlike crossovers and trucks.
It is a Great car, unfortunately it is sold 26k cad here un Canada. Same price as Mazda 3 or toyota corolla
Dislike the 3 cylinder engine. Everything else is cool.
Im glad this thing is getting discontinued...Good riddance!!A switchblade key in 2023? Couldn't get more archaic than that!! And don't get me started with 76hp..its not 1983?!!
Rather elitist , aren’t you?
I’m just not a type of person to settle for less. 🤷🏾♂️
Wow..
@@jraheemjefcoat429 My wifes car is 2010 Hyundai Accent (purchased new) with manual windows and locks. It was the last one they had on the lot and they couldn’t wait to get rid of it. My 2000 Chevrolet S10 (purchased as a fixer-upper) is the same. My 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander was purchased at a great price because it doesn’t have all of the “Wizbang“ Electronics everyone wants nowadays. Speaking as a retired Mechanic simpler is better. As far as “settling for less“ goes, I have lots more because I don’t buy vehicles with lots of useless gadgetry.
I thought it had 78 hp, not 76 hp.
