Another excellent video! You know maybe for a really fun and somewhat obscure illustrator reacts could be Hanna-Barbara cartoons. I think the best ones that are akin to your style would have to be Samurai Jack, Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, and Teen Titans (2003).

When I first encountered Solo Levelling, I was hesitant to red it since I thought the artwork of the cover was too good to and I also didn't feel interest at first. Oh boi, was I ever wrong. Each time a new chapter is published I scream like a little girl in excitement as I love how the story progresses and how amazing it looks.
My friend kept on recommending me this manhwa and I was also hesitating to read it cause I just thought that it's too mainstream and probably just get disappointed if the art of the content is not as good as the cover. I also thought that I wasn't gonna like the plot AND boi I was wrong. Feel like I'm expriencing adrenaline rush when it updates now LMAOOOOO
Well the novel’s completed a long time ago and I have no idea where the manhwa is since I’ve stopped reading awhile ago when I picked up the novel. Well either ways the novel wasn’t very long so the manhwa might have caught up
@@joshuayuen668 spoils. Sung jin-woo just completed Jeju Island s-rank gate and defeated (unnamed at the time) Beru. Just to give you an idea where they're at in the manhwa.
At first, the healer girl at the start kind of threw me off as I thought it would become a soppy romance comic but as soon I saw the story developing further and further, and Jin woo becoming more badass and colder as a person (just how I love my protagonists), I became more and more hooked to Solo levelling. Like as soon as he started growing up and becoming more op, that pretty much sealed the deal as it being a good manwha . The art is also so amazing and Jin woo is hot lol. So far, there has been no soppy romance as well. However, it would be interesting to see some romance mingled into this manwha, idk if it will happen tho.

Solo Leveling is easily the most impressive manwha I've ever read. The art is so spectacularly done and the action is kinetic. It's addicting to read. I went through all 110 chapters of the first season in two days. Didn't even want to read anything else.
Tower of God and Noblesse, which are manwhas, have been announced to get an anime adaptation by a Japanese studio, however Since solo levelling has a bit of anti-japan as they made japan bad/evil or whatever in the latest arc, It might not happen

Haruko Ichikawa and Inio Asano are tied for my number 3 favorite manga artist/writer combo spot. With Tsutomu Nihei (Blame!) and Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira) being interchangeable for the first and second spot. The manga artist who goes by the name VOFAN is another artist I feel like you'd enjoy both for his art quality and his amazing ability to tell a story in as few images as possible (most famous for his art in the Monogatari light novels). VOFAN's artbook "Colorful Dreams" is truly worth checking out if not just for the amazing art, then also for the sometimes surreal and always daydreamy like stories told in the art and just a few lines of dialogue/description.
Some manga artists in japan have "assistants" to help them with minor details like backgrounds/ environment so maybe that's the reason why Attack on titans' architectural design is much better then the main characters.
Not some, all of them eventually gather whole teams. This is tons of work and cannot be done by one person all the time and manage to keep up with deadlines.

I recommend the manhwa tower of god, I have no idea how the artist pumps out such huge chapters weekly. The art gets way better over time and, even though I am sure you are probably too busy to actually read it, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Her summon makes even more use of the vertical panels than solo leveling did. The gigantic monsters give you a feeling of overwhelming power with just standing there.
"The breaker" and its sequel "the breaker:new waves" have some pretty cool art but one artist i always love to see is Geof Darrow the comic book artist, his art is so insanely detailed and i love looking at it and always finding a new little joke or reference in it.

I think you should check out manhwa "The breaker" and i honestly. Believe that the biggest reason "Solo leveling" became so popular is art. I read webnovel of it, and while i personally found it okay, nothing made it stand out from other KR novels. But whover drew the manhwa for this novel made it work so well.
A webtoon called "The god of highschool" has some really well-drawn fight scenes, the artist does wide shots very well, but excels in close quarters combat

I went into this ep fully intending to cover Kubo but for the life of me couldn't come up with a good talking point that wasn't a repeat of stuff I'd talked about before. PopCross Studios I recommend using chapter 281 for the video for Kubo if you’re going to use his art for great awareness of leading your eye, also for okubo, his work is very cartoonish and has a great second series of fire force that you could use as well
14:25 In Her Summon, while the other world is bright and vibrantly illustrated, our world is depicted in almost greyscale. Something interesting I noticed there, was that in these very low contrast panels/scenes the artist used cool greys for the background/envt. and warm greys for the characters, so that there was never any difficulty differentiating the two, or depicting/highlighting the characters. It also added a sense of devide between organic and inanimate, and I thought this was a simple, very subtle touch, with a huge benefit. The main character, who has dark clothes and hair and pale skin to start with, naturally gives a sense of transition between worlds when he is summoned. The Demons also have their own grim palette.
There's a webcomic called Lackadaisy, by Tracy J Butler, starring anthropomorphic cats in a roaring twenties setting. It's one of the most gorgeous and expressive comics out there, check it out!
I saw Solo Leveling *I CLICKED* Best parts of Solo are his eyes and the deadly sharp blue that emits from both himself and his minions Feel bad for the author though. Seems he got sick. Hope he gets well soon

@@PopCross I was just about to recommend this artist, when you get the time please check the breaker and the breaker new wave. Another great Manhwa artist you can look for is JUDER (Inmortal Regis, Cavalier of the Abyss and Lilith Core)
One the the moments I really liked in (I think) new waves was where the MC used the exact same technique he first saw his teacher use in the first few chapters, it was a great throwback and looked awesome.
Yeah, I think it will be good, too, to look into reincarnation theme/ female oriented works like "Suddenly became a princess on day", "Beware fo the villainess" and more. "Suddenly became a princess on day" has more like a pastel colors and thin line art(i don't know how it it called), while artstyle of "Beware fo the villainess" resembles SL(i haven't read SL, though) but it is less vivid colors, I guess.
Soon as you were talking about over-the-top muscles in the preview, I KNEW it would be about Baki, haha. Anyhow, for suggestions I'd recommend a look at Hello Hellper, another manhwa. You mentioned how manhwa artists have to alter composition and work differently due to the scrolling reading style, and that's one thing I think that series truly excels at leaning into, especially for fight scenes (I'd look at the later chapters because it takes some time to find its footing). Oh yeah, and Tamen de Gushi is pretty cute and good at showing inner cityscapes.
Ah sweet, by now I just realized that she is the Mangaka of Kimetsu no yaiba/ Demon Slayer. :D I'm so glad the Anime Series was able to push her popularity. I can highly recommend her artworks too.
The artstyle of Solo Leveling is actually based on modern webtoon artstyle. Some of my favorite artsyles of same genre are: Divine Realm Online - This has the best art that i have seen in any webtoon Outlaws: Epic art. Great story too A returner's Magic should be special: Great art and one of the best stories My wife is a demon queen: again great art and a really good story(if you like isekai person using science to comprehend magic and becoming OP then is for you. Like Knights and Magic or Kenja no mago) Release that witch - Same science + magic theme + Great art style And now if you are looking for one with a very unique artstyle then go for Askr Yggdrasil's Wood(not a webtoon though) They do good fight scenes in "God of Martial Arts" Manhua too. It has been changed to webtoon style now as well because of the art resemblance These are all colored one^^

I love the shut-in neet genre of mangas(like Lonely Attack on Different World, How not to summon a demon lord, etc) and this one is the best out of the best in it. And also has that "isekai but you can return to your world anytime" thing so some unique stuff. (Along with the epic visuals, fight scenes and mana logic)

If you want to check out an artist improving like crazy, I recommend checking out Tower of God. The early art has turned some people away from the series, but the improvements between season 1, 2 and 3 are astounding. Current art is easily on par with Solo Leveling with Tower of God imo having one of the best Webtoon arts to date.

TOG was the very first Webtoon series I read after getting the app a few years back, and it still blows my mind at how much the art evolves and improves over the course of the story, and it very quickly became my favourite series on the app. I always stop and stare at the art every week when a new episode comes out!

@@JustAlex2000 yeah man, i don't know about that comment. To say it's on par? definitely not. But close enough. But the story line is good. Good at the start. Dull middles and now good again. I see a future for ToG as it's ongoing but solo leveling set it's future as a high of a standards as it could be and has more fans worldwide. I personally love both tho.
@@filaaalif I mean ToG's storyline is at it's peak in the middle and now is climbing even higher. When it comes to story, it's no contest that ToG beats SL out of the water. Also SL's art might look better only cause of the artstyle. When it comes to the drawing skills, SIU has improved a fuck ton and is still improving.
So, one single recommendation - this one is a must: Shinichi Sakamoto. The guy's drawings are pure magic. He's done a manga about a climber (Kokou no Hito) and a 2-part series about the head executioner of the French Revolution (Innocent and Innocent Rouge). Both have outstanding art. Incredibly detailed, very expressive, quite artsy. To me, no one compares to Sakamoto. Aside from Inio Asano and Takehiko Inoue. There's also a great documentary about Sakamoto and his creation process on TH-cam. It's on the channel "Archipel" and at around 20 minutes, a short watch too. Gives some really great insight about what Sakamoto values as an artist, how he does research, has his assistants get in costumes and mimic poses that he later integrates into his drawings. Just all around fascinating. Also talks about why doesn't use SFX-overlays in his art and how he still tries to evoke certain sounds in the minds of his audience. Definitely recommend you watch that.

Same goes for stuff like One Punch Man. The original artwork is made by Murata, who's basically a god of drawing. When they make the anime, they have to work a lot to even get close to the quality of the manga. That's why you can't rush it.
About the Titans in Attack on Titan: the effect you're talking about them is called the uncanny valley. I'd actually like for you to comment on Isayama's use of framing to imply emotion or atmosphere where it's difficult without animation or soundtrack. Granted, it's not an original concept, but I think he does that very well and the other other series that I can think off the top of my head that had a similar impact was The Promised Neverland.
I would like also suggest Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. Heheheh I like on how you review every manga or manhwa that the viewers and fans suggested you.
There are a lot of references to other franchises as well. There is a lot of dark souls designs taken for the living armor as well as the dragon from what I can remember from the top of my head.
"Solo Leveling" is the Best Manhwa I have ever, ever and ever read so far. Highly recommended. They just finished the 1st season in March 2020. Now we all patiently sit and wait for season 2 to start hopefully within 6~12 months. ^_^

@@yellowflower6190 well but most of ro-fan webtoons' story line is affected by 'yangpanso' genre of Korea. But the parenting genre's first ro-fan manhwa is yoonseul's novel almost. If you check both two novels, you're probably able to find more than 60 episodes has really similar storylines. And also wmmap' writer also had plagiarized charges before and also that novel had suspicion of characters' incest. And yoonseul still has pain of cyberbullying which she had by fandom of wmmap.
You should check out Kengan ashura’s art as it shows clearly the art getting better along the series. The artist is Daromeon and late Kengan Ashura’s art is phenomenal.
when i open the video I was actually expecting some spoon art (especially this one), dissapointed to not see it, but I guess its not the type of manwa he would look into it.
I recently read her summon and the amount of influence it had on me as an artist can't be described in words. I actually think I improved my art skills just by reading it.
I refuse to criticize hajime isayama for his art. He has improved VERY MUCH and the art in the most recent chapters have been Fantastic. His action panels are also very special. Next you should check out Makoto Yukimura (Vinland saga) one of my favorites.
If Hiro Mashima could improve from his early Rave art (they almost axed his story with how bad the art was 2 years in) then Isayama can improve as well. He has monthly chapters so he draws comparatively less than the ones who have weekly releases so his art doesn't improve as fast. The story is enough to keep you invested anyway. Look at Shuichi Shigeno. His art hasn’t improved much from Initial D but people still read MF Ghost.
Lemme be straight about this . I read attack on Titans and it was incredible art wise and story wise . Western artists have an different style for comics which are mostly similar and they don't like manga art style . If you say the art style for one piece is bad , no it isn't , it's kind of a consistent style not definitely realism . Western artists are too much into realism and that's kind off a bubble they created for themselves .
You should look at vagabond. Its insane how well drawn that series is, and just how much attention to detail its artist has. Every panel in that manga is pure art
fr they need an amazing studio to ever even THINK of pulling it off. i think that’s why it hasn’t gotten one yet, because it’s such a huge comic that no one wants to mess it up.
You should have shown the Valak look alike villain, that shit scared the hell out of me, that was the time I really got hooked up because the goosebumps I felt was so sudden that I really felt afraid of a character in a drawing.

solo levelings artwork was super good but i also got hooked on the story and finished it in one day i craved for more so now my first time ever im reading a light novel
Oosawa Yuusuke is making a SPIDER-MAN series call ''FAKE RED'' with Marvel which have amazing draws but the most important with a lot of re-design of the characters (especially the villains) and my god mysterio looks fucking incredible and i never liked very much the other designs, and the plot is quite good too. Shame that the series is not getting much attention and the author said that if the series did not sell well with the first physical volume is probably that is going to end :/

Seeing Blade of the Phantom Master's art made me say wow out loud lol. Now that you mentioned it, the SFX text does have an effect. If that ドヒュン wasn't there, it wouldn't have the same impact.
i finished binged reading Solo Leveling and feel so lost.....and then decided to try "Her Summon", my god, the art is also very lit, it has a different style of art compared to Solo Leveling lit art, they're both with very good art but with different style, i love this 2 manhwa
Whoever did the art for solo leveling has amazing attention to detail, theres a well established background and the effects they've added to each and every page (especially the glowing effect with the airbrush) makes the manwha look clean asf.

When I first encountered Solo Levelling, I was hesitant to red it since I thought the artwork of the cover was too good to and I also didn't feel interest at first. Oh boi, was I ever wrong. Each time a new chapter is published I scream like a little girl in excitement as I love how the story progresses and how amazing it looks.
My friend kept on recommending me this manhwa and I was also hesitating to read it cause I just thought that it's too mainstream and probably just get disappointed if the art of the content is not as good as the cover. I also thought that I wasn't gonna like the plot AND boi I was wrong. Feel like I'm expriencing adrenaline rush when it updates now LMAOOOOO

Sung jin-woo just completed Jeju Island s-rank gate and defeated (unnamed at the time) Beru. Just to give you an idea where they're at in the manhwa.
At first, the healer girl at the start kind of threw me off as I thought it would become a soppy romance comic but as soon I saw the story developing further and further, and Jin woo becoming more badass and colder as a person (just how I love my protagonists), I became more and more hooked to Solo levelling. Like as soon as he started growing up and becoming more op, that pretty much sealed the deal as it being a good manwha . The art is also so amazing and Jin woo is hot lol. So far, there has been no soppy romance as well. However, it would be interesting to see some romance mingled into this manwha, idk if it will happen tho.

Solo Leveling is easily the most impressive manwha I've ever read. The art is so spectacularly done and the action is kinetic. It's addicting to read. I went through all 110 chapters of the first season in two days. Didn't even want to read anything else.

Tower of God and Noblesse, which are manwhas, have been announced to get an anime adaptation by a Japanese studio, however Since solo levelling has a bit of anti-japan as they made japan bad/evil or whatever in the latest arc, It might not happen

Haruko Ichikawa and Inio Asano are tied for my number 3 favorite manga artist/writer combo spot. With Tsutomu Nihei (Blame!) and Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira) being interchangeable for the first and second spot. The manga artist who goes by the name VOFAN is another artist I feel like you'd enjoy both for his art quality and his amazing ability to tell a story in as few images as possible (most famous for his art in the Monogatari light novels). VOFAN's artbook "Colorful Dreams" is truly worth checking out if not just for the amazing art, then also for the sometimes surreal and always daydreamy like stories told in the art and just a few lines of dialogue/description.
I also suggest "Her Summon" 10/10 story 10/10 art
Some manga artists in japan have "assistants" to help them with minor details like backgrounds/ environment so maybe that's the reason why Attack on titans' architectural design is much better then the main characters.
as far as i know, his assistants do all the backgrounds instead of helping him with them
Not some, all of them eventually gather whole teams. This is tons of work and cannot be done by one person all the time and manage to keep up with deadlines.

-Makoto Yukimura "Vinland Saga", a Manga about Vikings that references north mythology and real historic Events
-Justin Jordan& John Amor "Urban Animal", a Webtoon about Chimeras (mythology from the phillipines I think)
-Paru Itagaki "Beastars", a Manga described as a "human Story with animals as characters"

@@PopCross I'd highly recommend checking out whole pages for Beastars. Itagaki Paru does some really cool panel work that's definitely worth looking at.
I recommend the manhwa tower of god, I have no idea how the artist pumps out such huge chapters weekly. The art gets way better over time and, even though I am sure you are probably too busy to actually read it, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Her summon makes even more use of the vertical panels than solo leveling did. The gigantic monsters give you a feeling of overwhelming power with just standing there.

"The breaker" and its sequel "the breaker:new waves" have some pretty cool art but one artist i always love to see is Geof Darrow the comic book artist, his art is so insanely detailed and i love looking at it and always finding a new little joke or reference in it.

and i honestly. Believe that the biggest reason "Solo leveling" became so popular is art. I read webnovel of it, and while i personally found it okay, nothing made it stand out from other KR novels. But whover drew the manhwa for this novel made it work so well.
A webtoon called "The god of highschool" has some really well-drawn fight scenes, the artist does wide shots very well, but excels in close quarters combat
But he ruined the plot.... the webtoon peaked on the ark where the shark dude was a villain, and went way down the slope after he was gone.

PopCross Studios I recommend using chapter 281 for the video for Kubo if you’re going to use his art for great awareness of leading your eye, also for okubo, his work is very cartoonish and has a great second series of fire force that you could use as well

14:25 In Her Summon, while the other world is bright and vibrantly illustrated, our world is depicted in almost greyscale. Something interesting I noticed there, was that in these very low contrast panels/scenes the artist used cool greys for the background/envt. and warm greys for the characters, so that there was never any difficulty differentiating the two, or depicting/highlighting the characters. It also added a sense of devide between organic and inanimate, and I thought this was a simple, very subtle touch, with a huge benefit. The main character, who has dark clothes and hair and pale skin to start with, naturally gives a sense of transition between worlds when he is summoned. The Demons also have their own grim palette.
There's a webcomic called Lackadaisy, by Tracy J Butler, starring anthropomorphic cats in a roaring twenties setting. It's one of the most gorgeous and expressive comics out there, check it out!

Yeah, I think it will be good, too, to look into reincarnation theme/ female oriented works like "Suddenly became a princess on day", "Beware fo the villainess" and more. "Suddenly became a princess on day" has more like a pastel colors and thin line art(i don't know how it it called), while artstyle of "Beware fo the villainess" resembles SL(i haven't read SL, though) but it is less vivid colors, I guess.
I wish he would've checked "Vagabond". Easily one of my favorite all-time mangas + one of the most beautiful artworks I've ever seen in manga/manhwa.
Soon as you were talking about over-the-top muscles in the preview, I KNEW it would be about Baki, haha.
Anyhow, for suggestions I'd recommend a look at Hello Hellper, another manhwa. You mentioned how manhwa artists have to alter composition and work differently due to the scrolling reading style, and that's one thing I think that series truly excels at leaning into, especially for fight scenes (I'd look at the later chapters because it takes some time to find its footing). Oh yeah, and Tamen de Gushi is pretty cute and good at showing inner cityscapes.

Some of my favorite artsyles of same genre are:
Divine Realm Online - This has the best art that i have seen in any webtoon
Outlaws: Epic art. Great story too
A returner's Magic should be special: Great art and one of the best stories
My wife is a demon queen: again great art and a really good story(if you like isekai person using science to comprehend magic and becoming OP then is for you. Like Knights and Magic or Kenja no mago)
Release that witch - Same science + magic theme + Great art style
And now if you are looking for one with a very unique artstyle then go for Askr Yggdrasil's Wood(not a webtoon though)
They do good fight scenes in "God of Martial Arts" Manhua too. It has been changed to webtoon style now as well because of the art resemblance

imo, nothing can top Her Summons. I love the shut-in neet genre of mangas(like Lonely Attack on Different World, How not to summon a demon lord, etc) and this one is the best out of the best in it.
And also has that "isekai but you can return to your world anytime" thing so some unique stuff. (Along with the epic visuals, fight scenes and mana logic)

Takehiko Inoue is from an older generation. Unlike today, japanese manga back in 80s and early 90s did not focus on "moe".
@@hohyukjung2561 There are plenty of modern non-moe manga out there, the moe/slice of life genres are way more predominant in anime than in mangá.
I recommend "Feng shen ji", it has the best artwork i saw in a manhwa!
If you want to check out an artist improving like crazy, I recommend checking out Tower of God. The early art has turned some people away from the series, but the improvements between season 1, 2 and 3 are astounding. Current art is easily on par with Solo Leveling with Tower of God imo having one of the best Webtoon arts to date.

TOG was the very first Webtoon series I read after getting the app a few years back, and it still blows my mind at how much the art evolves and improves over the course of the story, and it very quickly became my favourite series on the app. I always stop and stare at the art every week when a new episode comes out!
@Araffallea Have you read the recent ToG chapters? SIU is going ham on the art and honestly if we take last 5 ToG chapters and look at the art, it's easily on par with SL
@@JustAlex2000 yeah man, i don't know about that comment. To say it's on par? definitely not. But close enough. But the story line is good. Good at the start. Dull middles and now good again. I see a future for ToG as it's ongoing but solo leveling set it's future as a high of a standards as it could be and has more fans worldwide. I personally love both tho.
@@filaaalif I mean ToG's storyline is at it's peak in the middle and now is climbing even higher. When it comes to story, it's no contest that ToG beats SL out of the water. Also SL's art might look better only cause of the artstyle. When it comes to the drawing skills, SIU has improved a fuck ton and is still improving.
So, one single recommendation - this one is a must:
Shinichi Sakamoto. The guy's drawings are pure magic. He's done a manga about a climber (Kokou no Hito) and a 2-part series about the head executioner of the French Revolution (Innocent and Innocent Rouge). Both have outstanding art. Incredibly detailed, very expressive, quite artsy. To me, no one compares to Sakamoto. Aside from Inio Asano and Takehiko Inoue.
There's also a great documentary about Sakamoto and his creation process on TH-cam. It's on the channel "Archipel" and at around 20 minutes, a short watch too. Gives some really great insight about what Sakamoto values as an artist, how he does research, has his assistants get in costumes and mimic poses that he later integrates into his drawings. Just all around fascinating. Also talks about why doesn't use SFX-overlays in his art and how he still tries to evoke certain sounds in the minds of his audience. Definitely recommend you watch that.
I recommend checking out “Sweet home” made by Youngchan Hwang

Same goes for stuff like One Punch Man. The original artwork is made by Murata, who's basically a god of drawing. When they make the anime, they have to work a lot to even get close to the quality of the manga. That's why you can't rush it.

About the Titans in Attack on Titan: the effect you're talking about them is called the uncanny valley. I'd actually like for you to comment on Isayama's use of framing to imply emotion or atmosphere where it's difficult without animation or soundtrack. Granted, it's not an original concept, but I think he does that very well and the other other series that I can think off the top of my head that had a similar impact was The Promised Neverland.

There are a lot of references to other franchises as well. There is a lot of dark souls designs taken for the living armor as well as the dragon from what I can remember from the top of my head.
"Solo Leveling" is the Best Manhwa I have ever, ever and ever read so far. Highly recommended. They just finished the 1st season in March 2020. Now we all patiently sit and wait for season 2 to start hopefully within 6~12 months. ^_^

But the parenting genre's first ro-fan manhwa is yoonseul's novel almost.
If you check both two novels, you're probably able to find more than 60 episodes has really similar storylines.
And also wmmap' writer also had plagiarized charges before and also that novel had suspicion of characters' incest. And yoonseul still has pain of cyberbullying which she had by fandom of wmmap.
You should check out Kengan ashura’s art as it shows clearly the art getting better along the series. The artist is Daromeon and late Kengan Ashura’s art is phenomenal.

I recommend Spoon's art in "Who Made Me a Princess"/"Suddenly Became a Princess One Day". The colouring is superb in every panel.

I recently read her summon and the amount of influence it had on me as an artist can't be described in words. I actually think I improved my art skills just by reading it.

I refuse to criticize hajime isayama for his art.
He has improved VERY MUCH and the art in the most recent chapters have been Fantastic. His action panels are also very special.
Next you should check out Makoto Yukimura (Vinland saga) one of my favorites.
If Hiro Mashima could improve from his early Rave art (they almost axed his story with how bad the art was 2 years in) then Isayama can improve as well. He has monthly chapters so he draws comparatively less than the ones who have weekly releases so his art doesn't improve as fast. The story is enough to keep you invested anyway. Look at Shuichi Shigeno. His art hasn’t improved much from Initial D but people still read MF Ghost.
Lemme be straight about this . I read attack on Titans and it was incredible art wise and story wise . Western artists have an different style for comics which are mostly similar and they don't like manga art style . If you say the art style for one piece is bad , no it isn't , it's kind of a consistent style not definitely realism . Western artists are too much into realism and that's kind off a bubble they created for themselves .
You should look at vagabond. Its insane how well drawn that series is, and just how much attention to detail its artist has. Every panel in that manga is pure art
When solo leveling gets an anime... the art in the anime would be worse than the manhwa
fr they need an amazing studio to ever even THINK of pulling it off. i think that’s why it hasn’t gotten one yet, because it’s such a huge comic that no one wants to mess it up.

You should have shown the Valak look alike villain, that shit scared the hell out of me, that was the time I really got hooked up because the goosebumps I felt was so sudden that I really felt afraid of a character in a drawing.
You should react to an artist named spoon and her/his webcomic "suddenly became a princess" or "who made me a princess" it is such good artwork one of best i seen in the mahwa word
solo levelings artwork was super good but i also got hooked on the story and finished it in one day i craved for more so now my first time ever im reading a light novel

Oosawa Yuusuke is making a SPIDER-MAN series call ''FAKE RED'' with Marvel which have amazing draws but the most important with a lot of re-design of the characters (especially the villains) and my god mysterio looks fucking incredible and i never liked very much the other designs, and the plot is quite good too.
Shame that the series is not getting much attention and the author said that if the series did not sell well with the first physical volume is probably that is going to end :/

Whoever did the art for solo leveling has amazing attention to detail, theres a well established background and the effects they've added to each and every page (especially the glowing effect with the airbrush) makes the manwha look clean asf.
