Make sure the washer is on the screw going into the rear of the rail . This screw keeps the rear tire carrier from being able to slide off of the rail !
Hey Adam, the arm is designed to be placed on the tire roughly an inch in front of the fork lower. When positioned correctly it will not make contact with your fork. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
You would be right. For e-bikes with fenders your options to become more limited. We recommend checking out the Thule Easyfold XT, Yakima Onramp, or RockyMounts HighNoon
My favorite.... but @ $800.. a bridge too far. The Yakima Holdup latest version @$630-ish is good too. I may twist off for this one though... it will $$$ cramp my style for awhile .
Great video

It really looks like the front wheel arm touches the fork

I was just thinking if you have a front wheel fender like my ebike has this will not work.🤔

Does the tailgate lower completely without contacting the rack?
With the rack tilted down out of the way, we have not seen a pickup truck yet where the tailgate could not be fully opened.
Can people just unscrew the flatform since it’s not locked?
Yes. That the whole point of the locking mechanism.
