I think its by design. When switched onto a different vehicle it is also in a slight slant. Driving is great parking I usually tend to find longer slots when avaliable.
great video, i just bought the add-on... gonna install it this spring.. thanks very very much. any idea how to 'unmount' the add-on? it seems very difficult or even impossible to detach it from the T2 Pro...

The Thule customer world owes you a beer or two for making this video --- thanks so much for the clear explanation!
Thank you
Thanks for making this video. I add the extension and take it off once a year and I always forget how!
Great video and very helpful!!! Thanks!
Thank you. Glad this video was helpful
nice work.
Great detailed explanation. Thanks.
Thanks
I figured out the installation of the locks by using the master key to introduce the locks in the hole
This is to add two more bikes to an existing rack?
Yes.
I was hoping the 2 or 4 bike configuration was a bit less work as I wanted to change from 2 to 4 configuration frequently. Nice video!
The full rack looks quite sloped is that the bike rack design or your hitch? And how is driving and parking with this added length? Thanks

It's a little difficult but you just reverse the process.
Add a bit of lubricant to the extension before inserting and it will go on and come off a lot easier. Should not need to hammer it in.
@@AutoSensation I agree, I can't seem to get mine to budge after I remove all the screws. Did you have any success with removing yours?
@@brownasiankoala Yes. I added a little lubricant like what @farhadhayat9716 said
now the bike rack is like 100lbs. and taller than your roof. Its pretty much a permeant mount. Lol
Yes. Very heavy. Thank goodness for the built in wheels
