You don’t need to change the Turbo inlet pipe unless you’re upgrading your turbo, it’s a waste of money, won’t make any extra power…. Some have said it even loses power. Just get the HVI intake. The rest of the mods, go for it. You should start with the Intercooler in your climate.

Definitely do the baseline dyno, good to see where you are and the progression from there with the mods. Picked up an FL5 last week and looking to do hondata and the intercooler first.
Hold off on the intercooler IMO, especially if you’re looking at PRL. Nothing against them but the more research I’ve been doing.. the more I’ve seen that the current intercoolers aren’t helping on the track. I think it was PointsByPatrol who said his first FL5 overheated with a aftermarket FMIC vs his newer FL5 that doesn’t have it and didn’t overheat. I’m waiting for a fin type intercooler to be released. I believe 27Won had that type for the FK8.

@@moonrockschopshop it might be great for daily use.. of course ambient temperatures play a factor too. Comes down to how you’ll use the car. There just aren’t too many options for the platform and I personally don’t want to just settle on the most popular option because it’s the only option. I have owned a lot of PRL products with zero complaints. I’m just in no rush on a platform that’s 2 years old that could use more R&D imo.

If youre doing this for the heat you should look into the coolant system rerouted hoses and a -10 degree thermostat.

Not at this stage, I doubt I’ll be making the kind of power where a catch can will be beneficial
Catch can is good for any direct injection car no matter how much power it makes. Have one on my stock 10th gen accord 2.0L sport and it'll catch probably about 200 ml every oil change which I do about every 4000 miles.
@@nicolasjones2929 how I know catch cans to work is they are beneficial for cars with so much power that the oil gets shifted to one side of the pan and doesn’t distribute equally, but I’ll look more into it

If you are going to buy new rims, then you can avoid spending more money for spacers by getting rims with more offset.
This is true, I just don’t know wheel measurements and how to get the right offset 😞

@@karumban yea the first couple batches have been reported to have issues here and there. Mine is great no issues at all, but the demos are known
