I find myself coming back to this video a lot because there's just something about the relationship you have with your blankets that gives me chills. They're like diaries; they tell stories and hold memories. Absolutely beautiful.
They are extensions of my journals! I hadn’t thought of it that way. They hold a lot of memories and they are made of them 💖

ARE YOU SERIOUS PRINCESS? Of coarse you should finish them all and keep them all. This is your art work and you made them for you. See you even love a certain stitch, GRANNY STITCH. I'd be disappointed if you don't complete this large project for yourself. This is a part of you. Do it and love it. Love yourself by completing all these blankets you've created over the years. Thank you for sharing. They are all awesome. The boyfriend blanket, save it for your true husband. He will love it because his beautiful queen made it. God bless Princess with the British accent.

I am working on the Larksfoot blanket first and then the giant granny square. They are 100% getting completed. I couldn’t bare to get rid of them. And you are right they deserve the love. Thank you 😘😘💖

Complete it yeah most definitely 😊 it’s lovely I had scads of incomplete blankets from ages ago they all got thrown into trash bags along with the yarn and trashed I was very ill at the time I could just cry 😢. I’ve crocheted since 7 yrs old a blanket was the first thing made now I make everything and learning to knit some I taught my daughter to crochet. I looked at some old pictures the other day there was always a crocheted blanket on the bed or over a chair. So now i don’t get rid of uncomplete work I keep yarn scraps save work make scraps projects and I’m also a vendor now. So yeah complete it your work is beautiful that’s took a lot of time💕
I couldn’t bare for them to be thrown away! I cherish them all. Eventually I will gift a lot of them to family and friends because it’s nice to see the blankets getting so much love. I keep my scraps too! What do you do with yours? 💖
HG I now keep scraps and make Afghans with them sometimes or if I have smaller amount of scraps I like to make fingerless gloves boot cuffs scrap baby blankets. After being in the Christmas vendor show I usually have scraps and partial balls of yarn so I make my family gifts. My niece was diagnosed with type I diabetes and was in hospital 5 days before Christmas so I made her a messy bun hat with a partial ball of wool she loved it. I’ve also made headbands and I made a crochet floor rug out of scraps. Lots of possibilities. Your work is very pretty. I subscribed to your channel looks like you do knitting to but I’m just learning to do that I think it’s harder to do but I do like it
Your granddad's blanket is not ugly! Its beautiful I love the colors(although I also love plain monochromatic colors as well.)

Oh please complete it don’t frog 🐸 like saying I had scads thrown away mine were huge too still are. The granny square is very relaxing when I became disabled I have worsening epilepsy I lost interest in everything but came back to crochet and learned to do so many things but when I’m not at my best the granny square is the best. Your blankets are absolutely gorgeous 💕💕💕

I know this video is from several years ago, but I totally know what you mean about dog hair, but I've stopped fighting it 😆If you're not going to use it otherwise, as painful as it would be, I'd rip out the border & change to a colour that works for you - handmade items are meant to be used! 💕
😅dog hair, my hair, the baby’s hair. It’s inevitable! I ended up gifting a lot of these blankets to others so that they could be finished and used💖
I think you should finish it if you would like because it seems like you love it and then you could benefit from all your hard work 😀😀😀

Don't abandon it.....take apart what you're not happy with and, using your experience, finish it how you know it should be. Don't just leave it, you'll regret it.

If you do border the Lego blanket, my suggestion is pick one of the colors in the blanket to do one border, then pick another for the next border and so on. Again, they are all awesome. I'm so proud of you. You can wash each of them when needed in delicate wash. You should see if you can do a gallery viewing in some art venue. They are really great work.

I don’t have many of the colours left and what I do have isn’t a large amount but maybe I could get more. Oh wow, imagine my work being on display 😍💗

I was looking at that blanket last night. I’m not sure that I will border it as it was all scrap yarn and there isn’t enough to even go one round of the border now. I would like to finish it and have it in my collection. It has sentimental value 💖
Honestly it’s beautiful as is and I don’t believe it needs a border I was just thinking if you wanted to add one why not get more yarn in your favorite color 💜

Definitely complete blanket. It is beautiful. My suggestion is that u reinforce where u put them together cuz u said it was weak in places/ go back and do those weak area without taking it apart- just get the navy yarn and go in and go over the top of those joins adding more to the joins to make it stronger then it will hold up to the washing
