you all probably dont care at all but does someone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me
I love your video on crochet. I’m into crochet, I’ve been depressed lately & not doing anything but watching 📺 Your video cheered me up some, I love seeing your cats.
VERONICA STEPHENS Anya is an excellent teacher isn’t she? I’ve crocheted for 52 years but I’ve learned a couple of things from her. She’s such a joy to watch and listen too. It’s feels like getting together with a longtime girlfriend to sit and chat while crocheting. Something I’d love to do in my home.
Beautiful colors! Love it! I recently used the V stitch for a stash buster but I used 2 different colored strands at a time and a large hook (I think it was a size 9). It turned out so pretty with the color combinations and used a lot of my stash. It is by far the warmest blanket I've ever made!
I just want you , Anja , to know I love the V-stitch . I know from the way you are doing it , it will be beautiful . I want to do a ripple stitch with only 1 repeat and crochet together . I have all different colors , but not all the same yarn . Thank you for your tutorial .
I have to say the the V-Stitch...and its variations is my very favorite stitch. I just love it. I usually just count threes, until I get the length I want... It seems to work. I love your tutorials, because you are always so clear, and easy to follow.. Thanks! Later: Your method of changing colors is so neat and tidy! I will definitely use it.
Sandy Grogg I’ve crocheted for 52 years and have made some ‘fancy ‘ designs but I’ve discovered that the simplest of stitches sometimes make the prettiest ones. I made a baby blanket with a shell stitch, skip 2 stitches and DC in next stitch, skip 2 stitches and repeat. It was gorgeous!
Jo Pena It is beautiful isn’t it?! I love all her designs. I’m inspired to finally crochet my scrap blanket. I just have to save $$. I want to use Stylecraft Special DK like Anya.
My current project is a v-shaped shawl, I'm basically just testing out different patterns and i must say i LOVE this V-stitch! Looks nice in a shawl too, maybe one day I'll take on a bigger project like a blanket.
Very pretty blanket! I love the V stitch! I’ve made 3 blankets and am currently working on a hooded scarf using this stitch. Thanks for sharing. Your colors are beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful Anja! I will have to check it out on your blog as well. A beautiful stitch that lays flat displaying those gorgeous hues as you change into that subtle gradient of lovely pastels:) I will have to make this my next blanket (my first blanket;). And as always love your gorgeous nails and nail color !!!! Lolllllll. 🤗💗🤗
Heading to my stash of Red Heart, here in the U.S. I dont have Style Craft DK, but a good stash of yarns to use up. Lovely to be stitching along and making yarn pretty w/you and everyone. xx
Lesley Oliver I recently made a scrap blanket by just randomly pulling a color out of my basket and crocheting a row with it. After I was finished I put it in another basket then pulled another color out of the first basket. After I used all my colors I started over. It turns out beautifully that way. Of course if you pull out a color you don’t want to use next then toss it back in the basket and pull out another. I just wanted to share another idea. I’m sure your blanket will be beautiful too. I hope you share on Anya’s social media group. There are so many beautiful designs here. I want to make them all. I’m saving my $ to purchase the Stylecraft Special DK now. I prefer # 3 weight and below in yarns.
Blue Hydrangea I’ve started using 2 strands together ie a colour strand with a white. I think my white on its own looked a shoddy wool and I have a lot of it. Using it in 2 strands is looking nice - so far ........ thanks for the tip, I can still do that whilst adding a white to each colour. 🙃😊🎅🏼🤶🏻
At :39... It looks as though you have your yarn packs on the shelves!!! I can't remember the month for the one that's similar to the top shelf.. and that's actually my favorite pack. The second shelf down looks like the March pack!!! I had to look at the date for this video 😂
I did the first colors of pinks in a lag blanket and did 5 rows. It looks great, I am really happy with it. May do another set of colors for a 2nd blanket.
Isn’t crocheting ...or knitting...in bed nice? I always have something in my beautiful wicker basket near me, with a “bed project” ( or two!) in it. I wake up very early...usually between 3 & 4...so I get my coffee, turn in my iPad, and grab my bed project... My two tiny dogs snuggle up, and I am content.
Illness has me in bed most of the time. Yes i love love crocheting in bed. It makes me feel happy & productive still . Love video tutorials to learn new skills.
I love your videos! Your channel is my favourite. I am going to start my stash buster blanket after Christmas, I hope it looks as fabulous as yours! Merry Christmas 🎄
I just wanted you to know why . My sister that passed away in 2000 and her Daughters know their Mom did ripple . I did granny square . We learned from our Mom . My sister ask me to do a ripple blanket for her and I can not do a big ripple . I have 2 blankets to do for her Daughters . Thank you for your wonderful channel .
Been watching your videos for a while now. I especially enjoyed the one where you showed the collection of Afghans. What brand of crochet hook are you using? I haven't seen one with such a long shaft before the thumb rest.
Beautiful Stitch. I have never done the V-Stitch so I think this is going to be my next project for sure. Your colors are just beautiful. Just wondering if your yarn is a 3 weight like a baby yarn? Most of my yarn is a 4 weight. Thanks for the wonderful video.
Fantastic❣️ You are so funny😄 Of course as fast as you picked out the colors & ( being a woman ) you are definitely untitled to change your mind🤣🤣 I only have a big enough stash/selection of colors in heavy weight yarn so i'm thinking it would probably be too heavy ?
Yes I am the colors are beautifull. Trying to keep up with all my crochet blankets. Do you keep all your blankets or do you donated them to charity. Thanks,
Could you pls tell me the approx. width of the blanket BEFORE the borders. TY so much . I love this video series so much and Poor Ray is in those as well.
@@Blessed-2-b-a-Hembree I have used mostly Stylecraft Special Chunky, because I love Chunky yarns. So soft and easy to crochet with. I have some Stylecraft Special DK but I haven't made anything with it yet. Thinking of making a blanket
Amina Yusuf After the New Year I’m going to save up so I can make a scrap blanket for myself using Special DK. I recently saw some pretty hats knitted and crocheted with the chunky.
I ordered some Stylecraft Special DK yarn (from the UK) a few years ago, but I was unhappy with the feel of the yarn as it felt kind of scratchy. I prefer Premier DK Non-Pilling yarn, as it is very soft, comes in a large variety of colors, and is sold in America.
@@ElenaAshe I haven't tried any of the Premier Yarns yet. I have heard great reviews about them. I tried to order them on A. C. Moore once but unfortunately the store closed down before I could.
I am still making the blanket . It is going out really good. I using my stash. With I am using is the Bernat Softee Chucky (5 Gauge). I do not think that is made any more. So once the blanket is done I will take a picture of the blanket and put it on Face book.
