Hello!
Can you dock start / pump with this foil setup? I’m 80kg aprox
Hey are you still on the mint 5.2 as a allround board if you changed why and if you stayed on it why thanks mate
Hi, i still use my mint for medium / high wind days and completed my lowend with cruzader 7.6 and sabfoil 1550/1750 with 83p mast...very happy with this combo...mint is in wave conditions light enough for being reactive enough
@@lxt1714 thanks for the update
Hello, thank you for your videos !
I also have a mint and a fluid XXL classic and I enjoy it. I have a fluid XLT too but I prefere the XXL even when there is wind.
I have just learned how to jibe.
I am planning on buying the same foil in this video (fluid XXLH + stab H 47) but what about very light wind condition ? I live in the north of France near a lake and there is not a lot of wind... I often use my SP 9m2... Do you think the curve XLT is the best for light wind or witch front wing is the best for light wind in your opinion ? I think I will buy the curve XLT as well only for very ligth condition but not sure.
for very very light winds I'd recommend the CurveXLT (only the RiseXXL would fly earlier, but its deadslow and not really fun at all if you're not a very beginner) - thats what I ride. (my next smaller foil is the fluid XLS for days with not so gusty and a bit higher and more regular winds). I am happy with those two foils (using with Veloce and Fluid pro Stab).
it turns out that for a rider there is one size working in most conditions and size is depending on weight and preferred wing size..in stuttering gusty wind often a larger frontwing is better to pumpglide through lulls...with my weight below 1500cm is a pain
Recently sold my xxl curve because i also own a levithan 1550 now with better glide, curve xlt is best wing for low wind takeoff in the gong lineup, sp9 was to huge for me so i sold it, also have 18m matrixx2 that i prefer in 6kts :)
@@lxt1714 Thank you for your answers. I have bought the curve XLT and it is my choice for very low wind less than 12 kts with the SP 9m². I find the SP 9m² hard to jibe. I really prefer my Duotone Echo 6m² with a boom and with the fluid XXL (1850 cm²) that has a good glide but when there is more than 12 kts.
I would love to try the fluid XXLH, I wonder if it is easier than the fluid XLT (1550 cm² but lower aspect) that I find a little hard to take of. I am about 80 kg.
@@roadrunnermakmak Thanks for the answer.
What do you think your minimum wind strength would be for this XXL H ?
Thank you
Hi with my cruzader required wind limit is dramatically lower...with mint 12 kts with cruzader 9 kts
Sehr cooles Video. Wo ist denn dieser Spot? Nicht in Kaisermühlen oder?
Kaisermühlen Hauptspot ist nur wenige huntert m weg...der andere ist secret :-)
@@lxt1714 haha ok alles klar, danke! :)
No with 110kg not possible, with 80kg you need to run fast and it could work but profile is thin, would go for 3xl
