    Hi LXT a revisit on your review.
    Did you use the 7.5 a lot. Or did you get the 6m SP to work as well as the 7.5 with more experience in the light wind?
    The new V3 are coming out and look very nice. So I'm thinking about a better light wind wing than my Slick 7m. I was considering a CWC 8M but the new Super Power is interesting. Pumping to get on foil looks like it can be more difficult than some lighter wings.

      Hi, i used the 7.5 a lot- basically it gives a bit "racy" feeling with Harness lines while being powered- also depending on your weight- with 90kg+ the 7.5 makes sense and defenitely lowers my low end a few knots in comparison to 6m spv2- which is no low wind wing for me , it is my mid wind choice...

    Hi, thanks for your test. I am using Gong equipment but with light winds I am not so sure. had the 7.5 last year and it was not such a good experience. I saw and had the Strike CWC 8m2 at hands on the ground and it looked like a different kind of a beast.
    Did you have the chance to campare the two? I can't find anything except for brand bashing, but it would be really interesting, I expect not just for me. THX!!

      I will ask local guy to test the 8m, i assume the 2 struts are positve for the profile shape...2022 v2 sp 7.5 has slightly better lowend than v1 due to tension in canopy, defenitely more direct...but seems that cwc has higher ar which also means more power..its compact 7.5 against 8 with higher ar so the fone defenitely will work 1-2kts earlier...i compensate with larger foilfrontwing, but there is a guy here with 65kg and 8mcwc who is flying in winds i use my 18m kite with foil...but this is just physics, simple as that..regards lxt ps: with my 7.5 v2 sp i can do 360s, good question if this is possible with the 8m regular shape ar...had the 9m sp and sold it, i want to do manoevers and not just hold on and go like flapper raceboard in windsurfing...

    Great video, keen to hear your thoughts on the carbon V2 mast compared to the aluminium mast?

      Did not try alu v2 yet, i still like my monobloc and use it more for wingfoiling than my sabfoil m82 setup, Fluids are nice, especially the xxls

    Hi very interesting video. I m going to buy a gong wing. I m 102 kg. I m thinking if it s better the 6 mq superpower or directly the 7.5. On a 120 lts mint board. I should use it in light wind condition. But the question is that i m a beginner. I do racing in windsurfing with 9 mq sails... I ve sold my light wind gear to change with the wing. Could you give me any suggestion also which foil is better, the fluid or the veloce? Thanks

    • @lxt1714
      @lxt1714  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, if you are good in Boardsports 120l could be demanding but possible...if you are new to foiling for first year 135l vol are better for lowwind conditions...with 102kg 6m superpower will work in 14kts+ with XXL sized wings, veloce later takeoff ..i like Fluid over veloce because of better turns, if you are new to wingfoiling curve xlt might be the right wing to start...1 wing strategy in hi wind areas go for 6m, if you have often 12kts the 7.5 will bring you more days...

      Hi, der cwc ist vermutlich ein bisschen wertiger und steifer, ich behalte die spv2 mal weiter da ich neues schmales board cruzader und levithan lw flügel habe, in der kombi ist der sp mit dem profil usw bisher zufriedenstellend und bleibt noch eine Weile in Nutzung, Haltbarkeit bisher auch sehr gut...
