I would certainly think that 80wt would be too thick for the weight of this truck, but it seems like it works...!

Welcome to the channel. The testing is not conclusive. I’m gonna give it some time but cutting it back to 60wt might happen.

I had 70wt wide maxx and it kept blowing retainers and was a little to stiff I found 60wt and gpm silver and gold springs work well. It’s also better for not rolling over

If that noise you hear from the rear diff that make rubbing sound is still there take the diff out and loosen and re tighten the 4 screws on the diff and for some reason it fixes it

Next lets take out the front diff. First take off the front bumper, next there are 2 screws next to the servo and 2 next to the diff they are countersunk screws. Then flip it over and take out the 4 screw on the bottom and there's your diff

First let's start with the rear diff take out the one screw that holds on the rear bumper and then flip it over and take out the 4 screw on the bottom. Take out the center skid plat and then take out the 12 screw holding the bulkhead together and there your rear diff

Can't wait to see 80wt shock oil at the skate park, see will it make it less bouncy, caz I am planning to upgrade to 80wt too.
You did all 4 shock with 80wt right?

I did all 4 shock at 80wt but it was really firm. I mean really firm. I’ve since changed all 4 to 50wt and put the Widemaxx kit on.
