Traxxas MAXX | How to Change Shock Oil

In this video we show you how easy it is to change the shock oil on your GT-Maxx Shocks. This process works on just about all Traxxas Shocks. When changing the shock oil always remember to fully inspect the condition of the shock housing, shock rods, caps, and look for signs of leaking. If it’s been awhile since you’ve changed the fluid in your shocks and the fluid is very dirty, it is recommended to rebuild the shocks. The process of rebuilding is also very simple, but if you need help just leave a comment and we will gladly make a quick tutorial for you.
