Great review - thanks! How does it compare to the Penon 10th in terms of sheer musicality and pure enjoyment? Sounds like it has more quantity but less quality bass? However is your own personal preference for "fast" bass to the point it loses its natural decay? Are you a 2 x 8" aluminium/magnesium woofers kinda guy or more vintage paper 1x 15" (Altec/JBL) or 1 x 15" PA/club (low Qts B&C/18sound)? 😂. Tia Trio is my ref.
I am more a dual 10" paper Cone rubber surround bass. Sealed box vs vented. fast but can go low without signs of strain or fatigue the 10th is in a higher league than the Okavango in every way , bass, fun, highs mids and tuning. Personally at $250 I take the ISN Neo5, at $500 Turbo, at $749 the Sound Rhyme DTE900
The Okavango a bit darker vocals , but more lusher. The Neo5 has amazing bassy and warmer too but the Okavango is way more chill set for serious long listen sessions
Good question as mine set was a pre-fix the venting issue and I haven't heard the new version or the HYPE can't really call that one sorry. Hype would be your safer bet IMO
Listening to HiSenior T4 at the moment, but very much looking forward to experiencing the Okavango.
Great review as always.
As usual great video tone deaf monk. I was waiting for your review on these, you picked an awesome looking design!
Thanks so much 🙏 I should have made the shells transparent grey next tine.
