Good evening ☕️ I won the Effect Audio Cable for my IEM’s from the Scientific Audiophile. The Ares S8 W ….and it’s nicely built..and it has an effect in the width of soundstage and I have a definite impression that the highs are smoother…short of that they’re a good cable ..now was there $400 CDN worth of improvement…that jury is still out . Have a great night 🥃
I envy you Idol and other Audiophiles who can hear the sound difference in cables . Me I buy these cables for built Quality and Esthetics . Just like when people buy a Rolex Watch it tells the same time like any other watch however the art of Rolex is unmatched .
I believe there's a lot to this conversation, there is definitely a psychological as well as neurological factors regarding how we hear music and sounds. I tend to agree with you, I buy cables from Hart Cables - love their work. Not necessarily cheap, but not crazy and built well.
@@tonedeafmonk I understand I think I agree it requires some reorientation and training to hear things differently. Maybe it will take me more years in this hobby to have this hearing. But Thanks for sharing your experience Idol!
You need a special milliohm meter in order to test the resistance of cables...a regular multimeter will give you a reading, but it is basically useless

Well I had help , I worked in the audio industry for 25+ years and met some incredible people like Bob Carver who helped me heard things differently.

Hi, very interesting video. And about Graphene and Gold. Could you tell us your observations please?
Gold thickens up the mids and I find graphene effect the upper mids mostly
You were measuring ohms (resistance)? Not an audio expert but aren't impedence and resistance different?

Di Log meter I use is one of the world's 👌 best.
Good review, hope you ll test more with nicehck aceorpheus, ourlaura,60saga
I have one coming yeah will do !
