- How to clean the print-head nozzles of an Epson inkjet printer using a damp cloth. No need to remove the print-head. If your Epson ink-jet printer prints with horizontal white stripes, some colors disappear, the image is partially missing, probably you have some clogged nozzles. If a normal cleaning does not solve the problem, try this method.

Perfect solution to the problem. I waited a couple of days for everything to dry out and the printer is now working properly again. Thank you!
Thank you! I was on the verge of buying a new printer - watched several solutions and none worked. Tried yours and then did one more nozzle clean and it cleared the blockage completely!
your printer was black you clean it soooo good that in the end your printer was white
Miracle... it also cleans the owner's soul of all sins. 🙂
@@IMRANnet I love these new multi-purpose printers.
So simple and effective, obviously you won't find this solution in any manual. Thank you ❤❤❤
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I too was on the verge of buying a new printer as mine is about 8 years old. Once through using your cleaning method got back all but the top and bottom black lines in a nozzle check test, and running the cleaning cycle on my printer got the rest.
This worked miracles for us--thank you. It took three cleaningins but it worked. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I was considering buying a new printer since my printer is 8 years old and has terrible printing quality, but after doing this it's good enough to not replace it!
Out here saving lives! Thank you so much- just saved me a huge headache! ❤️❤️
Excellent job no word to describe you hats off your idea
This did the trick for my printer! Thank you!
Thank you for the subtitles 👍
This method worked. My paper was plain in the beginning. Now it's printed with little bit of lines. I'll redo it.
Well done, perfect explanation.
This worked for me! Thank you 🙂
I think its better to use a womans thin menstral pad , it absorbs all liquids immediately and is thin enough so you can slide it under the printer head no problem.
This was a great suggestion! My printer is a little different than this one but this was a genius idea- thank you! ❤️
thank you! Worked great :)
Thanks. My printing was blurred. I thought the printer was ruined. It was so dirty, I had to wipe it with two pieces of fabric using both sides.
I did try & work better. After cleaned - did Nozzle Check. See my Red p line back. But print on few Red color line . It did 60% whole Red lines. What should I do. Do more damp cloth cleaning
Hi - I work with an epson printer to print edible images at high volumes, every week there is a new issue. The current problem is it is printing codes and special characters on the paper, would a clogged print head cause this problem? What do you recommend doing?
Which problem? wrong characters on paper? For sure it could be caused by a clogged nozzle
thank you so much!!
Not sure if you can help me but I have purchased new cartridges and when printing black and coloured the printing is not dark enough. Thank you
Try to change the paper, may be the paper is damp. Print the nozzles test, check if all nozzles are present.
My printhead carriage is stuck all the way to the left. Printer reports paper jam. Epson Rx595. It has been stuck there for a couple of years. Do I have to disassemble? Is it worth it? I would like to use the scanner.
It the printhead had been on the left for years the nozzles are clogged for sure. I think you should have to change the print-head for start. I think it's no more worth
Thanks
(Epson XP-205) Ciao.
Grazie mille in anticipo!
How to remove vertical mini lines on a printed image? They go down the whole sheet
may be you have to clean the scanner unit
is cartridge not recognized is one of the printer head failure cause!?
no
any idea what i should do, please
@@guti-qe8ng For a print-head faulire? If the cleaning does not work probably you have to change it
You shouldn’t move the print head by hand, your break it. There’s a red triangle on the front that moves it
You break it if you don't release the lock, as explained in the video
my epson l3210 dont move from right to put the cloth
move the carriage to the right first, then move the white gear
@@viandant5 solved the problem thanks a lot it worked !😍
You skipped over how to remove the cartridge holder, please show us!
it's a difficult part for people that never didi it but i'll make a video about it
Start a print/scan...and then unplug the cable from the back of the printer. Then the cartridge holder will move freely.
Water will damage the printhead per manufacturer warning.
ink is a liquid, how could the water damage the print-head?
@@viandant5hydrochloric acid is a liquid, do you think that's a good thing to clean it with, how about milk, that's a liquid too😂
@@techtinkerin I know I should not answer to such idiodit comments but I'll do. the print-head works with water based liquids, the milk is water based as the wine but ir does not mean you can use wine inside the print-head simply because milk and wine are not water
Tried that still not print black
So the print-head is defective. unluckly the cleaning does not solve all problems
You might want to use an alcoholic liquid
Alcohol is not effective to clean the water based ink
@@viandant5 fair point. But does water harm/corrode the print head?
@@5654Martin The ink is water based, it will not corrode the print-head. The alcohol is more aggressive however
Read that Alcohol is not reccommended.
