Thank you! I followed you direction how to clean nozzles on my epson printer today. I was very careful, didn't want to mass up anything; even though I spilled a little bit of liquid when I pulled up the cleaning tube from the first nozzle head, but I dried it up as much as I could. I ran clean heads 4 times, and wallah my printer sang:) I first tried on printing out my husband's driving trip direction to Yuma Arizona next week, and it printed out perfectly. I was so happy and on cloud nine, took the print out to my husband and said "honey I did it" and gave him his trip printout! Thanks to you and your video. This worked for me as the black wouldn't print. The other colours were fine. The black was magically 'cured' but then suddenly the magenta wouldn't print! It HAD been fine! And putting the tube onto it gave resistance and the fluid would NOT go in. You mention resistance and say STOP if this happens. But then what?

Very informative video. An interesting hint, to warm up the solution, I hadn't tried that. I am unable to get any solution to flow into the Black nozzle All the others seem fine, and I can get the syringe plunger down. There is just too much pressure backing up. I don't want to force it. Will leave it overnight, and try your suggestion of warming up the solution first.

@@Theinkrefillexperts these little plastic nips that the are on the printer housing are sometimes delicate. I did find that a Windex spray bottle hose, it fits perfect, but the hose is rigid and I think it caused a break on prtiner nip. The skinny part of the canula doesn't really stretch over the nip and the wider hose part of the cannula is too wide for Epson XP-340. I broke the Cyan nip, and now printer cartridges are not recognized. using a short flexible hose is a good idea it seems.

I can’t understand your answer. Before cleaning, black was the only colour that would not print. There was a single line missing in the magenta nozzle check. Thanks. When I opened the kit there was only one small strip of blotting paper, not a whole sheet like in the video, so I just folded up a normal A4 sheet of paper multiple times and put it under the blotting paper. I also wasn't sure how much fluid to use per nozzle and I used the whole nozzle full just on the black, which was actually the one that stopped printing properly. I used the cleaning and when I used the syringe to push the cleaning fluid through, it definately came through each of the four nozzles and left the paper I put underneath soaking wet with different colour inks. I even pulled up on the syringe a few times to draw the fluid back up and down again both ways. I then thought I'd leave it a week or more with the nozzles still wet with the fluid, just to help dissolve any other dried ink that might be there. After a week, I put the ink cartridges back and tried the printer again and still nothing. The print test was no better, maybe worse, but fluid came though each nozzle when I used the cleaning kit, so I thought it should work, but it didn't. Should I try cleaning it again or what.
