i have the Sonos ARC soundbar connected with 2 of the Sonos Subs and the ONE SL's for rears......sounds great for my man cave.....very happy...cheers from Canada...be safe
Ford v Ferrari great movie to use for setup on a theatre the sounds of the cars roaring on the race track are unbelievable and a great workout for the speakers
I love the Sonos home theater system, which includes the Sonos Ark, the Sonos gem three sub, and the Sono fire‘s all hooked up to my brand-new 83 inch Sony Bravia, XR, AJ nighty love it!
Thanks for the great video mate! I got my Sonos Arc 5 days ago and love it but was just missing that extra bit of “boom.” Just picked up the Gen 3 Sub today and I’m totally blown away. $999 here in Oz but well worth it.
my old surround sound amp finally gave up so started using the tv speakers which is dolby atmos ( samsung 900c ) , can I use this sub on its own connected to the tv?
Unfortunately you can not. We do have less expensive soundbar from Sonos that can pair beautifully with the subwoofer. We offer free video consultations to help you determine the best product for your exact space and budget. Give us a ring anytime! 877-417-9000. Thanks for commenting!
I want to get the Sonos brand, but just didn't have the $$$ for it. It does seem like a pretty strong system that would be useful for as long as I had my last system I've been using for 10+ years.
I got to say for the price of 800.00 I could have just stayed with the Arc sub. Adding this sub is really about a lot of bass which is adjustable. I could have lived without it. If you live in an apartment, I know your neighbors will complaint.
I remember when I used to go to a weed dispensary in SF and they had the previous model (sound bar and subwoofer) and man... it blew me away. I’m usually used to big subwoofers and I was surprised to see just how small this one is. Reminds me of the old-school Polk Audio C4.
Great product but I think the ceiling in the house is too tall to take advantage of the Atmos features. I wish you could connect 2 or 4 in ceiling speakers to the ARC to have a 5.1.2 or .4 configuration
Did you actually do a side by side audio test for people to hear the difference on their phones? 😂 While I have the sub as well and yes it makes an incredible difference. You'll have to be in his room to hear how it actually sounds and not a recording from a phone mic.
You just need a couple of Sonos One SL wireless speakers now and you will have the best system available from Sonos!! You should try that sub positioned in the front as well off to the side by the fireplace underneath the window.

My kingdom for a video on Sonos setup that doesn’t talk about placement and how wonderful they are. Very frustrating for new users who can’t get the app to recognise the devices. Which they do for some but not others.
Are you able to provide a comparison review of the Sonos Arc and the Klipsch 54a? Trying to determine the best sounder for a large (20ft ceiling room).
In surround mode you can only assign 1 but if you at some degree eager to add more than 1 subwoofer you assign sub to any other sonos speaker but i remind you it is not surround,I'll give you an example, you have 5 sonos one, you can buy 5 sub and attach it to each of the sonos one.
I have a Sonos mini sub and won’t let me connect without dis one ting mini sub which app will not let me do. Have a few other Sonos speakers trying to connect and keeps rejecting. Not a Sonos fan
Great review hands down your view is just awesome! coupled that with a great sound bar (LG HAHAHA my fav) and great LG TV you have the ultimate. BZ review again. Where is this location?
So.. with regard to the new Sonos 2020 Arc Soundbar. The Soundbar offers 1 HDMI eArc input. No HDMI output. My concern is that prior to 2020 almost NO TV offered eArc, which supports 27x the bandwidth (data transfer) than ARC. So my AppleTV 4K will now plug into my 2019 Vizio Quantum P series. The TV will then send COMPRESSED Dolby Atmos audio, a massive downgrade. The question is. Does Netflix and/or Apple Movies, when offering Dolby Atmos offer it compressed or uncompressed? ...Prior, AppleTV 4K was plugged into my Sony HT-ST5000 7.1 Dolby Atmos bar directly. No compression. But the Soundbar does a horrible job acting at the HDMI video switch. Sheesh. Torn. eArc and limited options with Sonos Arc Soundbar are forcing audiophiles to forcefully upgrade their tv to a 2020 eArc or you get chocked out with bandwidth restrictions by a 27 multiple!??
all of the streaming apps only offer compressed atmos which will work with ARC HDMI. to get TrueHD through an app is Plextv. but then you have to have this server set up or use someone else. Blueray players also will get you TureHD but you have to have a TV with eARC. it still sounds impressive through Netflix with a compressed atmos format
I agree, yet in a way it's understandable. There are countless different Android devices out there, and most of them have completely different built-in microphones. It's nigh impossible to accurately calibrate something without a reliable reference measurement. Meanwhile, there's just one or two dozen different iPhones with mostly the same microphones, so the app can specifically be optimized for them, making the calibration results more reliable.
Yeah, I got rid of SONOS and got the Bowers&Wilkins Formation bar with subwoofer. Better than B&O soundbar and than BOSE 700. Try a demo with techno music, like Frank Mauz.
Thinking about doing a Sonos system in my house like that and add a couple of speakers to it just not sure what room it would be best in tho great video!
Some people are saying the exact opposite. I guess if you have a house like him you’d likely need a sub but if your in smaller room or apartment you’d probably be fine without?
Hy Zack, keep up with more nice vids,a quick question can I add the In-Ceiling speakers to this of course with a Sonos amp and if I can,it will be an improvement to the DolbyAtmos sound Thanks

Agreed. Maybe one of those binaural microphones parked in the "sweet spot" to give us viewers a sense of its surround abilities. Doggy looked excited "New fire hydrant!" That house has some serious views. Thanks
who needs a tv with that view outside.
That house is amazing, what I would give to live there!
It's only a model.

That’s a beautiful house and not to mention the views. Great sounds to. Hope the neighbours are cool.
Returning this tame product. Buy a better sub
This house is amazing. I wouldn’t leave this room. 😀
Damn how can a speaker system be without a bass! Most electrifying review of SONOS Arc.
Thanks for the kind words! You have to have the BASS! 💪🔥

Your video kept turning on my alexa and playing music.
Watching Black Hawk down with the set is amazing
you look like Ryan Reynolds bro. thumbs up for the video.
What I like about the Sonos Sub is that you don’t have to set up any phase settings, Trueplay does it all for you, it’s that simple.
Sonos is just so simple! It’s the main reason we sell so much Sonos! Thanks for commenting Paul!
What an amazing place you live in. WOW

@@dudeimgeorge each to their own. Worth every dollar I think.
@@bbqboy175 I mean, I got it for $455, worth it at that price. At yours, absolutely not, but glad you enjoy it.
What is the difference between this new sub and the old one?
Do You recommend the bass for any outside patio or backyard sonos outdoor speakers?

I have bookshelf speakers as well. Will the subwoofers be overkill?
how bad would this be in my apt with neighbors below me that complain about everything?

Watching TH-cam videos and the person says “Alexa” and activates your “Alexa”. I wish they would mute out the word “Alexa”. 🤦🏽♂️😂😂😂
Mine played music twice 😂
Roberto Vega Flick that’s what I’m saying 😂😂😂
Hilarious the first time, kind of sloppy the 2nd 🙃
"Okay" video except for you summoning Alexa
My Alexa started playing Young Thug when he said “Alexa play music” 😂
Hi,please tell me, wich subwoofer goes lower/deeper between this sonos and jbl 3.1 / 9.1 ?
I did not receiver a power cord with my Sonos subwoofer. Wondering if I could use a spare chord on hand but not a Sonos cord. Would it work?
I like your house
So you have to buy the sound bar and sub separately?
Great product but I think the ceiling in the house is too tall to take advantage of the Atmos features. I wish you could connect 2 or 4 in ceiling speakers to the ARC to have a 5.1.2 or .4 configuration
Nice job. I have all the accessories except the Gen 3, you may have tipped the scales. Thanks!
How many Sonos speakers (including the arc) can you sync up for a multi room music listening experience?
Did you actually do a side by side audio test for people to hear the difference on their phones? 😂 While I have the sub as well and yes it makes an incredible difference. You'll have to be in his room to hear how it actually sounds and not a recording from a phone mic.

Nice video Zach 👍 It’ll be great to see a comparison to Bose soundbar 700 5.1 system at some point, since they r pretty much at same price range
Whats about Jbl bar 5.1, is it better?
Question which one between this two R-100SW or R-12SWi? Room is 15 x 10 x 9?
Is there anyway you can add a second sub to a room setup with the arc?
No, you can’t add another sub. But, the Sonos engineers might consider that in the future.
Yes you can
Enjoy your content, would recommend editing out trigger words like Alexa or Hey Google so our smart devices dont end up doing what you tell them to do!
real question here - you do home theater installs and what not - the sonos cannot compare to any let's say SVS subwoofer, even SB1000, correct?
Please contact us at 972-322-4607 or email us at: sales@dreamediaav.com we would be more than happy to assist you and answer any questions that you may have.
But, you look like you have vaulted ceilings, and it's been told, to not work well with that extra ceiling height though?
I CAN'T GET MY SUB TO PAIR WITH MY ArC
BAR. Any ideas? Also, do you carry the small speakers for surround?
we sure do. Try and do an update on the software
You have sub gen 2 which old version.
Feel it in your butt lol 😂 don’t thing I want that but highly considering. Thanks for the review bro
How does this compare to an SVS sub? Something like a PB1000 costs $500.
Great views man. Thought you lived in Texas. lol 😂 Where is this?

Does anyone know if you can connect two Sonos subs to one system making it a 5.2.2? Is it capable of that through the app.
not that we have seen
Yes, you can now connect two Sonos subs to one Arc, as long as atleast one of the Sonos subs is a gen 3.
How would this sub sound with the Beam soundbar?
Does Sonos Sub Gen3 work with Sonos Play5? I am not talking about the latest Five. I have the older Play5.
Is the play:5 gen1?

Can Sonos 1 (gen 2) speakers be used as rear speakers with the arc and sub.
