If a person can ignore thoughts it is not disorder when it is only out of control of a person then it becomes disorder

I have experienced this state and has seen its worst phases. I have taken medication twice and is now as happy and peaceful as any normal human being. One wouldn't seen a way out while experiencing ocd, but your future self will look back at you and be proud of how far you progressed. It is darkest just before the dawn.😊.

Will OCD cure by itself? Why I asked bcz while the doc was briefing I could connect my perfectionist behaviour I had once. I used to insist others also on to follow it. Like in keeping the home disciplined, even while making chutney for idli! Most of my insistence were related to cooking and cleaning. It hasn invited lot of troubles in my personal life. Never ever had I recognised that it's a behavioural disorder or was that my insistence only? Later on when my close friends started pointing out the ugliness and mannerless and inconvenience in being strict on everything, when I started realising the oddness in my attitude, slowly I started to change. Now except in cleaning rest of the stuffs are Okay
